this will be my summer album, i'm very much anticipating Loving You & Chicago original versions! which song's are you guys most looking forward to? the production on this album feels very old school! i like the feel that it portrays, the people behind this project seemed to have had real affection for what they were doing!
She's just mad she wasn't called for the TII concerts.
I'm just eating a bar of TWIX.Merci. Es haben schnecke.

I think Hot Fun could be on an album as a bonus track. They made Hold My Hand a lead single and it had more Akon than MJ. I didn't like that, but as an album track, let alone a bonus track it would have been more OK. I also like All In Your Name, even though MJ is only on the chorus. But of course that wasn't made into a big release, Barry Gibb just put it on his website, so that way it was OK. I like the song, I listen to it all the time, it would have been a pity if it stayed in the vault. I'd like to hear Hot Fun too one day. It does not have to be a part of a big mainstream release, but I'd like to hear it.
And Always There:
I like your postings. Especially the ones you give info on unreleased material & the wealth of material there might be. Though you never could explain where your information is from.
And you shouldn't always state your opinion as fact. You flat out promised us that the estate won't put the RMX on the deluxe as a bonus. "I can promise you that"... Just sayin'.
I don't mind, because I couldn't resist to listen to the new JT/MJ/Timbaland version with my wife and my daughter (1,5 years old). We were all mesmerized! What a production, what a song. I was in ecstasy, emotional and happy at the sine time!
Words can't express how thankful I am to LA REID. That mans own all of us a big hug!
My daughter wants more, (she can't talk yet, but the word 'more' in Dutch she knows. And she just can't stop dancing and saying HEE-HEE, AAUWWW!! Can't blame her, it's the king of pop! He reaches us all over the world with his music!
Can't wait for the album to drop, may 9th.
I wonder if Spotify will have Xscape/LNFSG. The song is not on Spotify (yet).
Apparently female guitarist from Bad, Dangerous & HIStory Tours is one of the haters. She is trashing the single and making fun of the new production on twitter and facebook. The haters are worshiping her for doing that.
Shame that she don't think her "tribute" concerts are money grab. But she thinks this is. Delusion.
Are you talking about Jennifer Batten??

How does YouTube count views?

YouTube has some mind boggling statistics. One hour of video is uploaded every second. Each month, over 4 billion hours of video is watched by the 800 million unique visitors. Psy's Oppam Gangnam Style at the time of writing has hit 1,241,366,489 views.
At some stage you might have wondered does YouTube count views. Ask somebody and they might quip that it is how many times a video is viewed. But there are some grey areas which are open to debate.
1. How long does the video have to run for?
2. Does it matter if it is the same person viewing it?
3. Does it matter if the video is embedded in another site?
My first port of call was the Faqs section of YouTube which had my exact question "How does YouTube count views?". Needless to say I was excited at how YouTube was going to proudly share the inner workings of its wonderful technology. "A view is counted whenever someone watches a video on YouTube. We do not get more specific than this to avoid attempts at artificially inflating view counts". The answer mostly focused on justifying why it was a bad answer.
So off I set traversing the inernet. Here's what I found:
1. Clicking play doesn't actually count, the video needs to have run for at least a second.
2. If the user clicks replay and watches the video yes, but autoplatbacks don't count.
3. If the video uses the YouTube player, then yes it does count.
How does YouTube video view count work?
There is some confusion out there about how youTube counts video views. How do I know this? Well, at least I was confused. So here are a few things I figured out when learning about it.
YouTube Video View Count
YouTube counts videos as they are started. In as little as 5 seconds (i.e., if you only watch the first 5 seconds of a video), your video count is incremented. It could be less. I tested 5 and it worked. That’s enough for me. This is for watching videos ON YouTube.
Also from my research, I’ve come across a little hitch in the incrementing logic that says somewhere around 300 views (some people say at 308 views), YouTube freezes your view count while it starts sniffing around for view fraud. Obviously, since video view count is such a huge part of the ranking algorithm on YouTube, they are sensitive to people inflating their views. This can happen in a number of ways, but they basically want to comb through cookies and IP addresses to make sure that the video views up to and past this point are valid. I guess it’s possible 308 is some sort of a point of inflection that determines whether a video is actually popular, according to their math.
What about embedded videos?
This is where it starts getting a little wonky. From what I’ve been able to find (there isn’t much official documentation on this in their help section, unless I’m a dummy, which is possible), YouTube will increment the view count if you embed their own player and do NOT have autoplay enabled. So, what about the API, if you create your own player? It sounds like the view count on youtube.com will not be incremented if you choose to use your own (or a widget) player. I’ll have to do some testing to validate this, but it makes sense since you have a lot of control over video behavior in your own player and could just run video views to the moon.
If you have your player set to autoplay, this is also a case where video views will NOT be incremented. The reason for this is pretty obvious. People used to post their videos all over blogs, myspace, and wherever else they could to get as many views as possible. If the video begins playing on page load, rather than via user input, the more pageviews you get, the more plays you get, irrespective of whether people actually wanted to watch your cat jump into a wall. And this unfairly played to the advantage of major sites and media outlets, where it was easy for them to generate tens of thousands of pageviews in a day or a week.
So to recap:
YouTube video count WILL increment when:
YouTube will NOT increment video count when:
- You watch a video on youtube.com, as long as you don’t reload the video a bazillion times (particularly as it approaches 308 views).
- You watch an embedded video (using YouTube’s own HTML5 or Flash player) on another domain that requires you to hit play.
Hope this helps someone out there!
- You watch an embedded video in a player that has autoplay enabled (video begins playing immediately on page load).
- You watch a video that is loaded through a proprietary player via the YouTube API.
Sorry for sounding uninformed, but what is Spotify?
https://www.spotify.com/
Lots of music, free, and perfectly legal. Most artists have most of their albums on Spotify. Michael too has an official channel, he's got all of his main albums (studio, greatest hits etc.) on Spoitfy. I was wondering if Xscape will be put on Spotify too.
I think the streaming on Spotify counts in the official charts, just like YouTube does.

My guess is that the song may chart even better in the coming weeks.
- The video hasn't even been released yet.
- Will probably get strong boost in sales when the album is out
- TV advertisements Z2 and Xscape adverts haven't broadcast on a wider scale
-It's also only been one day
- The single cover for LNFSG was probably so that people would recognise it and relate it to the album

Anyone in the UK know how to contact radio stations other than text/call? Thanks.
I live in Michigan. Have not heard the song on the radio once. I've left the radio on constant to hear, nothing. Was it I heart only radio. Dissapointing.
Some pretty cool fan-made artwork for the new single!
