Can't think of a title

Flight attendant Cynthia Ann Bell, Redirect by Gordon Auchincloss, 3 30 2005:

3 Q. So if Mr. Jackson doesn’t like something, do
4 you change it?
5 A. Absolutely. In regards to catering?
6 Q. In regards to your level of service,
7 anything that you do. If he tells you he doesn’t
8 like something, do you take care of it?
9 A. Yes.
10 Q. If he wants something, do you take care of
11 it?
12 A. Yes.
13 Q. Have you ever met Mr. Jackson outside your
14 role as a server on one of these flights?
15 A. No, sir, I have not.
16 Q. So would it be fair to say you’ve been
17 always in a role of pleasing Mr. Jackson,
18 pleasing -- making sure he’s --
19 A. Yes. As a cabin attendant.
20 (Laughter.)
21 Q. All right. With that -- with that
22 condition, would it be fair to say that you’re in a
23 position where you’re always concerned about making
24 Mr. Jackson happy?
25 A. As a cabin attendant, yes.
26 Q. Yes, we’ve got that, okay.
27 A. I’ll lose my job over this.
28 (Laughter.) 4180

Star Arvizo, Direct Examination by Tom Sneddon, 3 07 2005

16 Q. Tell the ladies and gentlemen of the jury
17 what you saw.
18 A. Me and my brother were watching a movie, and
19 Michael walked up naked. And he walked to the
20 corner of the room, picked up something. Me and my
21 brother were grossed out. And he sat on the bed and
22 he told us it was natural, and then he walked back
23 downstairs.

Gavin Arvizo, Direct Examination by Tom Sneddon, 3 10 2005

6 Q. All right. And when Mr. Jackson came up the
7 stairs, did you notice anything.
8 A. Yeah, he was naked.
9 Q. When you say “naked,” what do you mean by
10 that.
11 A. Like, not clothes on.
12 Q. Did Mr. Jackson do or say anything at that
13 point in time.
14 A. No, he just ran up and just got something
15 and went back down.
16 Q. I’m sorry.
17 A. I think he just ran up there and got
18 something and went back downstairs.
19 Q. Do you recall him saying anything at that
20 point.
21 A. No.

Gavin Arvizo, Cross Examination by Tom Messerau, 3 15 2005

15 Q. When you were answering Prosecutor Sneddon’s
16 questions, a couple of times you used the word
17 “makeup” in referring to Michael Jackson, right.
18 A. I said one time when he was -- a story about
19 a time when we were in the room where his makeup
20 was, but I don’t remember me saying it a lot of
21 times.
22 Q. Now, you knew that Michael Jackson has a
23 skin disease called vitiligo, right.
24 A. He told me about it.
25 Q. And he told you that he’s an
26 African-American man with a skin disease that eats
27 up pigment in his skin, correct.
28 A. Yes. 2053

1 Q. And you knew that that disease was causing
2 certain patches of white and brown on his skin,
3 right.
4 A. Yes. I guess.
5 Q. And --
6 A. I don’t know. It’s not like I was making
7 fun of him yesterday, if that’s what you’re trying
8 to imply.
9 Q. Well, you knew that his skin is vulnerable
10 to sunlight, correct.
11 A. Yes.
12 Q. And that’s why you see him with an umbrella,
13 correct.
14 A. Yes.
15 Q. And you also knew, because of the patches
16 that appear on his skin from that disease, he does
17 sometimes put some makeup on, right.
18 A. I didn’t know about patches. I thought he
19 was just all white.
