lmao. the remixes are whack! i'm not feeling them really however TGIM is growing on me every time I spin it on my ipod.
Couple of things i've noticed
- how **** is akon? lmao
- Kanye West gets respect from me for remixing Billie Jean without throwing his vocals all over it, classy of him an unexpected.
- if you were fergie, 2 things, would you be proud of that? and, isn't life funny, one minute you are singing my humps, next, you are on thriller. Good lawd.

No, but they are made by the same people who are working on the NEW SONGS. Well thats not a fair assessment because Thriller was the BEST for a REASON. Anyone, including MJ, that touches those songs will not honor the originals appropriately cuz guess what? It's ALWAYS gonna be compared to the original and will ALWAYS fall short! Even if MJ remixes it all himself, its always not gonna be like the original. Nothing will be better than the original. ANd besides, remixes aren't made to be or even match the original anyways.
Neyo and Akon and all of them submitted songs to him, and it's MJ's choice ultimately to put it or take it off the album. You might not even hear akon not ONCE on the album, if MJ doesn't feel it's up to par. PERIOD. Cuz this is ALL MJ's here. And MJ's, once again for the millionth time, CREATIVELY INVESTED in his album. Remixes aren't a big project to do and he probably could care less, but as far as a NEW album...he's being REALLY picky, like neyo said. I mean look at some of the stuff that hasn't made other albums. MJ's worked with freakin LL COol J and it's never seen the light of day. So chill! LOL

I just don't get all the worry. Michael knows what type of music he wants to put out at this point. Some people will like it some won't. If an artist moves in a different direction that some of his fans, then the only thing the fans can do is move on from being fans of his current music.

we matter to him but he can't be working on pleasing every fan of his...thriller is a celebration. he may have collaborated with artists some of us may not like and the outcome may (again) not to the liking of some but he certainly have his reasons and we just have to respect it.
kopv is right. mike's choice of those artists is a strategy for a re-introduction of the thriller era for those too young to understand what the hoopla was about and at the same time to gain wider fanbase.
we can't be in on all the strategy mike is cooking up for his career so we just have to understand. beside, i think T25 is not meant for longtime fans but for the generation that adores Akon,will.i.a, et al
