subject says it all...I know he's on WBSS 2008... any others??
also were you disappointed in the way he sounds in WBSS 2008? I was...

There's new vocals on For All Time aswell & No, I'm not disappointed with his vocals on WBSS, I'm disappointed that Akon Dominates the song! Michael sounds great!!

The credits don't really state if he has recorded new vocals or not. It's possible the vocals in WBSS08 are new, but they could also be from the 1981 demo. The lead vocals in For All Time are definitely not new, as anyone who has the Dangerous sessions demo will tell you. However, the bridge is new and he has recorded new deeper harmonies in the vocals towards the end of the song.

I'm also disappointed that Akon dominates the vocals in the Wanna Be Startin Somthin 2008 remix. It's like Michael's a guest vocalist on a song on his own album, that doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't by an Akon single or album, so why would any Michael Jackson fan want to listen to Akon singing 90-95% of a song on a Michael Jackson album.

even more bizarre is that Billboard labelled it a "Michael" hit and added it to his chart tally.
if that's the case then why isn't Monica's All Eyez On Me or Rockwell's SWM classed as such.
there are more MJ vocals on those tracks than that awful remix with that swaggering, pants below his buttocks, gangster thug.

I think it is Michael's track because the album is Michael's and not a "various artists" album. I think if Akon wants it to be his also, it will be on his album, too. But I think this single release now is charted like it's Michael.

I think there is a little more than the just the bridge in FOR ALL TIME.. I'm not sure if it's just because of the much better quality, but I hear vocal overlays that I never heard before.. Also at times from the demo that it was a single voice, I can tell it was dubbed with two tracks.. The original plus another, the voices don't match, they contrast.. Which was not there before.. At least I could not hear it.. But mainly the difference is the bridge.

WBSS is definatly a new vocal... no question

I'm surprised no one had mentioned "The Girl Is Mine". Those are definitely new vocals or at least not the same as the original version. I absolutely LOVE the new version and Michael's new vocals. However I am a bit dissappointed that Michael didn't sing more on WBSS08 or at least ad lib out like he did in the original song. Also, why couldn't he have done new vocals on the other songs???

concercing "The Girl Is Mine 2008"

all vocals you've never heard before are taken from the original demo recording (which is without Paul McCartney)

this demo is available on the 3-track CD single of TGIM 2008

no new vocals ;)

Well damn, now I'm confused. I know this will sound silly and I'll catch some flack for it, but Can Michael still sing? A "new" CD with 5 remixes that Michael was involved in and he can only find the time to sing one little verse on WBSS08? I don't know but I would've thought MJ would've taken the opportunity to really throw down on the remixed tracks. Heck, the last time we saw him on stage at the World Music Awards he didn't take that opportunity to sing a lick. Most recently at the Grammy's would've been another golden opportunity.....oh well. I guess we'll have to wait for all-new material.

Don't get your panties in a wad just yet. Of course he can still sing. It's not like he "lost" his talents and abilities, lol. Yes, he did sing at the AMA. I guess you will soon find out for sure when he releases his all new CD.

Well after another listen, I would have to disagree to an extent. I know the verses in TGIM are from the original demo, however the adlib part where Michael sings, "you know, you know I care..." is NEW. This is evident because he is singing that part over the Will.I.Am rap in which Will.I.Am is rapping the same line...take another listen. Also when Will.I.Am says "Make it hot" and MJ hits that high note is new. Those adlibs are my favorite parts of the whole Thriller 25 CD.
