Duffy and Jack Johnson top UK singles and album charts
Welsh singer Duffy has recorded her first ever number one single with Mercy.
Based on download sales alone, Mercy went straight in at the top spot.
US band Nickelback remained at number two in the charts with Rockstar, while Basshunter's Now You're Gone slipped to third after five weeks at number one.
Elsewhere, David Jordan moved up one place from fifth to fourth with Sun Goes Down.
Adele's Chasing Pavements and Rhianna's Don’t Stop The Music both fell two spots from third and fourth to fifth and sixth.
H two O, Kelly Rowland, The Feeling and Goldfrapp made up the top ten.
In the album chart, Jack Johnson claimed the number one spot for the second week running with Sleep Through the Static.
Nickelback's All the Right Reasons stayed in second place.
The reissue of Michael Jackson's famous Thriller album, celebrating its 25th anniversary, charted in third.
Thriller 25 includes the original tracks as well as new tunes from hip-hop artists Kayne West and Will.i.am.
Adele's 19 and Morrissey's Greatest Hits were fourth and fifth in the UK album chart respectively.

Newcomer Duffy dominated this week's singles chart, shooting straight to the top with Mercy.
The Welsh soul singer-songwriter knocked Swedish DJ Basshunter off the number one spot, back down to number three.
Nickelback held onto to number two with Rockstar and British singer David Jordan's Sun Goes Down climbed one place, to number four.
Meanwhile Adele and Rihanna, last week's three and four, both dropped two places.
And Adele's fall in the singles chart was matched by a fall in the album charts - the soulful London teenager saw her debut offering 19 also drop two places to number four.
But acoustic singer-songwriter Jack Johnson held onto the top spot for a second week running with his album Sleep Through The Static.
The Hawaiian-born musician's latest offering held off Nickelback's All The Right Reasons, which rose one place to number two.
New entrants this week included Michael Jackson, who burst into the album chart at number three with Thriller 25, and the British singer and lyricist Morrissey, whose Greatest Hits album debuted at number five.
Canadian crooner Michael Buble jumped from number 13 to number six, while Amy MacDonald also rose up the charts to from number nine to number seven with This Is The Life.

Welsh singer Duffy tops charts with "Mercy"
LONDON (Reuters) - Welsh soul singer Duffy topped the charts on Sunday, going straight to number one with her release "Mercy", the Official UK Charts Company said.
The 23-year-old newcomer came second in the BBC's Sound of 2008 poll of music critics' and broadcasters' favourite artists in January and has been compared to the 60s singer Dusty Springfield.
Last week's number one, "Now You're Gone" from Swedish DJ Basshunter, slipped to number three. "Rockstar" from Canadian rock band Nickelback was steady at number two.
Singer David Jordan climbed one place to number four with "Sun Goes Down", while London soul singer Adele was two lower at number five with "Chasing Pavements".
Also new in the top ten was dance number "What's It Gonna Be" from Leicster DJs H Two O, featuring Manchester trio Platnum.
In the album charts, American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson remained in the top spot for a second week with "Sleep Through The Static".
Nickelback rose one place to two with "All The Right Reasons",
while Michael Jackson was straight in at number three with a 25th anniversary edition of his best-selling album "Thriller".
