Michael Jackson put alots of thought on the cover pics!

I think this cd cover and inside pics are the best ever!! Imagine if MJ was to make a new album with new pics!! what do you all think?

Yeah I think so too. I think MJ got 'art' stuff planned for his new album. I really love his sketches especially on T25 booklet. :wub:
 
to me it is his best cover yet!!!! the hologram only michael jackson then for it to be outlined in gold thats royalty right there.
 
I think Dangerous has the best artwork, I mean look at the front cover :O!
 
Dangerous art work was more "weird" to me.. :lol:
 
off the wall was simple. thriller is iconic. bad was a bit embarrassing. dangerous was amazing. history is considered quite egomaniac (but i quite like it). never liked botdf. invincible cover doesn't even much look like mj...

yeah the bad was a lil feminine for me a lil emberassing lol the off the wall was off the chain. Thriller was off the chain but yeah the Dangerous and the new thriller are the best invincible could have been better when it first came out i was like huh??? like i think a picture really sells a person to buy the album like janets picture on that new cover makes me think that cd is gonna be one of janets best. to me it seems the better the album work you can tell that the artists has fire tracks just me.
 
i think the art cover does say alot.....it explains why the girl is mine single didn't do well...its not exactly eye catching
 
his covers are usually cool.. I think my favorite is.. um IDK
 
For me, I agree with cpp on some things.

OTW- Simple
Thriller- Sexy :lol: Eye catching. Historic.
Bad- Haha ya'll say feminine? Naaa the cover it was GOING to be (the one with the lace on his face?) would be feminine :lol:. I say it's practical. Same outfit from the video...kinda reminds me of it, and how damn cool it was. And the font was just COOL...everyone plays off of this cover (parodys it)...so i love it.
Dangerous- unbelievably creative.
History- yep egotistical, but likable lol
BOTDF- eh lol
Invincible- even though it doesn't much look like him...i like it. I like the fact it had different colors, I like the silver. I just love the colors. And the fact that the cover...all it focuses on is his FACE. In ALL it's glory :lol: To me, that's awesome. It's gutsy, bold, and it's a big FU to all the people who complain about it. I really like it for that reason. So all that talk about 'Michael Jackson's face'...and it's PLASTERED on billboards and New Releases rack at the store lol
 
My reviews of the album pics:
Off The Wall - "Ex tempore"
Thriller - Dreamful and kinda mature
Bad - I wouldn't say this "naive" or "feminine". That was trends of those times and Michael's look and style fitted very well on him. It was kinda surprising cover from him but I like it as much as others.
Dangerous - I've always thought this is kinda "weird". Maybe you understand it better if you are into arts. I haven't like this as much as others because Michael was "hiding" in the cover pic. Eyes don't even look his, I think it's an impersonator, isn't it? Michael playing games..
HIStory - I think this was how it should be. Both old and "new" pics and the front cover with the statue was just showing how Michael has his place mounted in the music business with his "past" achievements. Only Michael could have that kind of a cover. I think the teaser was kinda too megalomanic and also that pr stunt where his statue in Thames, it wouldn't have had to be like that, but instead of that he could have promoted his album by appearing live himself a few times more.
BOTDF - I liked this design and people came very familiar with it. I remember how everyone was talking about Michael's red pants and how the short film was with those women legs. :)
Invincible - Was this TOO simple? I think instead of releasing copies with different colors (and only one with that better ink) there could have been different editions, just like Thriller. I have to say the desing looked like kinda cheap. The front cover was pretty cool (I liked how it wasn't digitally "photoshopped" but just a great photo) but all the rest looked cheap. Every album is kinda celebration and the booklet should be as attractive as possible.
 
I loved the dangerous cover, But -- at the time when it came out I was 7 or 8 i think and we were living with my grandparents, my grandma saw the tape and thought it looked to "devlish" and she freakin threw it out with the trash!! I got the CD years later, She ain't touching that one :)

1st of all - you can definitely rely on him being photoshopped into HELL on that cover, as on any cover! That picture was photoshopped if I ever saw one!

Off The Wall-simple yet cool
Thriller- Killin dat white suit, who doesnt love it lol
BAD- Embarrassing NO..Boring a lil bit
Dangerous-The nicest Sh*T i have eva seen lol..Altho confused 2 what it means...
History- BAM...egotistical But who cares he has a reason 2 be lol
BOTDF-I liked it...
Invincible- It looked like MJ 2 me...but yet it didnt lol...it was plain but the colors caught every1s attention
Thriller25-Hologpraphic outlined with gold..ts a must! it makes u buy it lol
Thriller 25- Plain its still shiny lol..

All n All his album covers are bangin! I love all of em
