Are Michael and Janet the first brother and sister to simultaneously have #1 albums on Billboard charts and on the Global Charts will Janet replace Michael as Number 1?
 
Not sure if she can replace him she might but her sales unlike in the USA and Canada are not good, but you do pose an interesting question about the historical significance both of them no.1 on Billboard album charts.

I do not think Janet will replace mJ as number 1. The reason is that Janet is only doing well in Us. The rest of the world her charting is very low to none existent. MJ charted well throughout the world and even though he was not Number 1 in US the number one there did not chart well world wide at all. So no, I don't think she will replace him, She would have to do much better that this.

I don't know about the Global Charts, but it should be noted that both Janet and Michael has #1 albums on the Billboard charts this week.

Also, Janet and Michael appear on the SAME chart in the Top 10: The BB Comprehensive Albums chart at #1 - Discipline and #9 - T25.

Also, Janet and Michael hold multiple #1 spots on BB this week:

For Janet, Discipline is #1 on the BB 200, Comprehensive and the R&B/Hip Hop Charts and

For MJ, T 25 is still #1 on the Top Pop Catalog and R&B/Hip Hop Catalog charts!
