Why MJ is not touring the US?

to the two other arizona fans that I know come to this forum...

I went to Cali last week and I saw so many representations for MJ..

MUCH better MJ stuff there..

JUST IN ONE DAY, ONE PLACE.. at the universal studios.. I heard 4 MJ songs..

1) This time around (remix)
2) The way you make me feel
3) Billie Jean (which a popper was dancing to)
4) I'll Be There

and I don't even have to mention how much more radio play Michael gets there in cali over arizona.. OMG so much more, I heard him everyday.. not like here at all..
 
he was going to tour the states for Dangerous ... until the Chandlers started that ish. I remember waiting for the dates to be announced.

What is this rule about stating if your concert is lipsynched ?? Where do they state it ?? The names of the performers, I wont state but I have been to lipsynched concerts and was never told they were lipsynched :lol: I want my money back !! :ranting: :lol:

Hawaii and New Zealand are real places, unless those were some seriously spiked drinks they served on the flights. Hawaii is part of the USA, the 50th state ... the poster was more than likely referring to the fact that it is not part of the Continental United States of America ;)

well he loves performing... but a tour is differnt hm? you did see that youtube video ... is it on page 14 in this thread, didn't you?

It came out in the trial that Michael has a $100 mil touring deal on the table. That means that SOMEBODY out there was willing to take him on.

I believe that Michael will be doing a world tour, including the US, when he comes back. And when he does, don't be surprised at who sponsors him.

And why would you have doubts anyone when we just saw those lizards dancing from Pepsico?

I agree with everything except the dancing lizards... using a high-profile song really doesn't mean all that much in the long run. I mean, the Today Show on NBC plays Michael Jackson clips all the time, it doesn't mean NBC is sponsoring him. Not trying to nit-pick here, I just think that may be reading a bit too far in between the lines.

But yeah, he'll have no problem getting sponsored. There's probably people lined up as we speak.

thats a song i do not think he meant stranger in moscow . he said he wrote stranger while in russia but it was not about the people just like tdcau its not about the people in the country. he said its about all goverments not caring about the people of a country.
 
i'm not speaking about stranger in moscow, but if you mean about it being about the government... yes, we're on the same wavelength, at least with regards to TDCAU, but i dont feel the same of sim.

Oh yes ive seen that many times - but that was shortly after his tour
and the making of Invincible so he was still probably still burned out
but its just like having a baby .. after going through it the first time
you say never again .. but the urge is to strong to have another
and you remember the joy and forget the pain of giving birth ..

he also said Bad was his last Tour ..

I dont know that he will or wont whether he want to or not
but I believe he wants to have another go at it and will at
least do a short Tour or venue ... he wants to perform
its in his blood - All we can do is wait speculate

That wasn't shortly after a tour though, he said that 6 years after his last one lol I think he meant it when he said he didn't like to do it.

I ALWAYS HERE MJ HERE LOL ALTHO CALI IS WAAAAAAAAY BETTER THAN AZ IM USUALLY THERE TWICE A MONTH BUT ANYWAYS LOL YEA I WAS IN CASA GRANDE THE DAY B4 YESTERDAY AND THEY WERE PLAYIN TGIM2008 IN THE PARKIN LOT OF JCPENNY AND IN THE STORE AND I WENT TO CHANDLER MALL YESTER AND IN FINISH LINE THE BILLIE JEAN 2008 REMIX WAS ON, AND MY JOB ALWAYS PLAYS SAY SAY SAY LOL

This question is always on my mind, I checked MJ’s tour profiles for Dangerous and HIStory tours and he never performed on the US since the Bad tour (AFAIK). I heard many rumors from the press but I tend not to relay on them so I would like to know why he doesn’t tour the USA?

I disagree, it’s not because there’s more money overseas.. it’s just because it’s a world tour.. that’s the difference between a normal concert promotional tour and a world tour. You go around the world in a world tour. All the greats toured the US. Prince toured mostly the US, Elvis toured only the US, The Beatles were not big until they toured the US
