The "I remember when..." thread

I remember when a bully pushed my brother off a see-saw, and I chased him with a plank of wood.

I remember when I first met my best friend. I would be lost without her.
 
I remember when I interviewed random strangers in the street using my umbrella as a microphone. Omg why did I do that :blush: :lol:

I remember when I used to always think of others before myself and got taken advantage of for it...

I still do, but I think of myself a lot more than I did before :)

I rememeber when people used to pick up the phone more instead of just emailing :mello:

I remember when my mom use to tuck me in at night.
She made me feel everything would be all right. :girl_sigh:
 
I remember when i banged my head against something when i was about 8, carried on with playing in the playground but realising that i was sweating quite a lot all down my face, only to touch my face, look at my hand and see blood all over it!! needless to say, i wasn't sweating :lol:

Something similar with me... I was skipping along the playground singing "The hills are alive, with the... *THUD*" Yep, that's right, I tripped and fell flat on my nose..... nee naw, nee naw... woops :lol:

Oops yes LOL I should have said it was in a river. I didn't mean it fell on me and suffocated me. :lol: I was trapped underneath it's stomach with the reins and stirrups, somehow.... and my friend was laughing. She thought I was joking. If it wasn't for the horse going for dry land I probably would have died. :bugeyed

I remember when someone very wise was giving me advice on life and it was sunset. The sky was so picturesque, it was just magical. I wish I could go back to that moment.

i remember when i laughed at my friend for falling over, then literally about 20 seconds later, i fell over!!!! oh the shame :rofl:
 
I remember when a friend of mine and I were riding the bus to get to college and there was a huge tunnel that blanketed us in darkness for about a minute. We would wait for it everyday and see who could hold their breath the longest. To make sure we couldn't cheat, we'd both hold a mouthful of water and pinch our noses. The sight of one another always sent us both peeing ourselves and spluttering water all over the bus window. :rofl: Oh man I miss those days.
 
I remember the days people used to appericate things you'd do for them...
