Thanks for the information :)

Are there any bed&breakfast hotels near the 02 that are cheap?

Thanks in advance :flowers:

Thank you for the hotel information!!!
With hostels you have to share shower with other people right or what's the difference from hotels?

Hostel = sharing a room with other people, usually sleeping on bunk beds. And, you will share a bathroom.

Can i just mention, for those of you who aren't familiar with the scheme, Tesco (as in the big brand-name superstore for those who didn't know) do clubcard deals, where you can cash in your points and use those to shop with, eat out with, go to attractions etc with...or book certain hotels with. If you happen to have a clubcard go to http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/ and look into it, might be good if you're doing a bit of sightseeing!

Remember everyone that hotels are on the ball, therefore the prices will be up knowing that mj is on within the area of the 02......

I was on travelodge the other day and it was £29 when the dates were released it went up to £65 and the holiday inn express is £170.

hotel henry the eight.

Near hyde park ( 10 minutes walking away from lanesborough)
I went to this hotel last summer and was surprised for the price and quallity... good breakfast.
Good bed.... and.... a swimmingpool!!!!

doubleroom ( 2 seperate beds) including continental breakfast... 69 pound per night for two persons including breakfast...

I'm booked in to the International, twin room £57 each. It is on 30th July. Lots of the hotels are raking up the prices, this one hadn't but then the extra date had only just been added.

I booked for Travelodge. Now that's taken care of I gotta get passports in order and a flight.

Thanks!

Now, I see some of those hotels are really close to the O2 Arena, but on the other side of the Thames river. Can you like.. walk over or under the Thames or do you have to take the tube?

i think i will look for a cheap hotel, motel, hostel or whatever not only around the o2. since the underground is so good connected in london, im not afraid of being in a hotel which is not around the o2.

also what we are doing will be book a cheap hotel for too people but sleep inside with 3 or 4. a friend of mine is always doing it like that and they divide the price by 3 or 4 then. its really cheap then.

i will be in london with friends from 14. till 15. or 16. but i will stay there till 17. means i am alone for 1 or 2 nights. i could offer somebody to share hotel with me on that date, and we will share the price.

Thank you for listing those.. Now i have an idea of what is close and wether i plan a city trip with a travel agency or not. At some travel agency they had an offer with Custom House Hotel but that would cost us 590€ for 4 nights including everything like flight etc. Pretty expensive right or?

I think it sounds very good, and comfortable! :)

My friend allready was in shock when i said she would need to save a minimum of 300€ so i gonna check if there are any deals with the hostels you posted :)

theres many cheap B&Bs in the centre of london.u dont have to look just in the area of the 02 especially if u are planning to make it a proper holiday with sight seeing and what not. u will be better off in the centre of london then.transport to the 02 is very easy. for cheap b&bs you can get a double room for around £50 per room. just put cheap B&B in goole and many sites come up. remember though you get what you pay for.(well not in london cause its such a rip off) but u get the idea. just want somewhere to sleep then cheap places are ok but you prob wont wanna look under the bed for your stay lol and if u are gonna be there for more than 4-5 days get yourself a oyster travel card as its cheaper than paying per day

hey :) my friends and i booked rooms in the london home stay eltham (hostel). its not really close, but a bus is driving directly to the o2. so its not too bad. here is the link, if anybody is interested... http://www.hostelsclub.com/step02_s...iorno=14&mese=07&anno=2009&notti=3&currency=1

only thing im still worried about is how to get from luton airport the the hostel. but i guess i will take easybus transfer to victoria station and take rail to eltham then... :) haha im so excited!

Hey! I booked there also! For 3 people - 2 night it cost €65.. Great value!

I've been told the easiest way to get there is to get the train from London bridge to Eltham station
