The ode to his lady love with this song during his marriage indicates his guilty feelings for what he had done. It also is an indicator were his devotion was not. His spiritual connection remained with the woman who was out of reach to him, not the one right in his path.

My synopsis of this thread so far...for those of you who are lost and confused about it..

I think the point of the thread is this. People have noticed that MJ is a lot happier than he has been in the recent past, and they are attributing certain lyrics to certain songs he's done to explain this happiness...that one certain mysterious love may have inspired him to be happy, and that he truly found love "in the dark". Then I have tried to interject some humor (albeit raucous at times) at times just to lighten up the thread...and keep it going...

I think some songs back in the 70's were still for this secret love, but some think songs written while married to Lisa in the 1990's were intended not for her but for someone else...

Am I right about this thread?
 
very interesting.. but Micheal was only in he's twenties in the 70's. Could such a young person hide something so close to he's heart for all time?

I know I myself would have a HARD time not showing my feelings to the world if I where in love.
 
My take on this? MJ is the quintessential romantic. He is a master balladeer. I think he may have, on occasion, met people that really touched his heart uniquely. It could have been a chance encounter, but it stayed with him. And this is what he has written about....probably not to one specific person, but his ballads have painted a complex tapestry of his life thus far...

At the beginning, this thread was on the main forum and the main forum is open to all visitors. Now, those that were making negative comments will have to register if they still want to frown on this thread, because the Mods have moved it to Michaelmania which is not open to all visits. lol

It would be kinda silly to register just to come and read something that makes some get upset, right? But hey, some people do strange things, so I wouldn't put it passed some!

You know? From being a longtime female MJ Fan, I already know not to get upset about who Mike gets with. He goes where his heart leads him and it's not my place to tell him who to love and who not to love. That's ridiculous and unfair anyway.

His fan base is filled from top to bottom with females and he doesn't tell us who we can and cannot love. We also do not consult with him before getting married and creating families. We just go and do it, right? It's been that way for his entire career.

Gotta look at this thing from both sides. We female fans cannot attempt to place restrictions on him when he isn't placing restrictions on us.

His female fans go off and get married all the time and not only that, they play his music at their receptions.

Well, there are times when he falls in love too. The only difference is everyone hears about it or ends up seeing him and her on camera somewhere, unless they keep their relationship out of the public eye.

Shoot, Mike is so sweet, he'll record musics for his fans to create families to. Like "Lady In My Life" and "Break of Dawn" for example. That is straight up baby-making music! LOL

isn't that the truth! everyone has a private life and can choose what to tell and what not to tell the world at their own choosing. but no one is obligated to say anything. what a person says in regards to their private life is at their will, to either tell all or tell some, or tell none. that goes for you, and that goes for me.

I think you could be right about this. But I don't think that Michaels life is very cryptical like it's being put out in this topic. We all fall in love occationally throughout our lives. We all have different types of relationships to the ones we love throughout our lives. Just because you're famous it doesent meen that the world knows about every friend or flame you have. But I don't think Michael would live a secret life like that. He would'nt allow the media and the public to take controle of his life in that way. I think he would feel something like this to he's great flame: If you truely love me and truely trust me then we shall be together nomatter what.

In these past 10 years though, I think that it's possible that he's been having a woman in he's life that he want to keep away from he's bad image. I think every man would want to safe he's woman from anything like that. But I don't think he would go to extremes to keep her a secret.
