I spoke to an old friend yesterday who I hadn't spoke to in a while. We started talking about Michael Jackson and I told him how upset I was and very emotional because of his death. He had no kind words. He started saying 'bla bla bla Michael was a ********* and *********'. I yelled at him. He was never a fan of Michael. He knew NOTHING about Michael.

He was just quoting things he heard from the horrible newspapers and never took the time to read the true stories. Such a HORRIBLE friend. He had no respect for my feelings and certainly not for Michael. He just believed everything he read, even though he didn't know the first thing about Michael. It made me sick. How can people be so cruel? What is wrong with some people?? I hate them. I hate them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I'm sorry for that.
Cheer up! Dont be upset. Some people are ignorant and heartless. They hurt people by saying all that groundless sh*t. Shame on them!
 
Oh, God, i'm with you completley! You should build a protection barrier inside you, so this ignorant people will not be able to hurt you.
 
When just a few days passed after MJ's passing....i had this birthday party of my brother and a uncle and aunt visited , like they always do. And my aunt (not a real aunt but still...) started saying she never did like the guy (MJ) and that Neverland was a big cover-up. I just said that alot of people don't know the slightest thing about MJ and that i'm done with them too. Kinda messed up of her, cause she knew how big a fan and supporter i am. She know me since i was a baby.
 
yeah well dont let let the things that others say bother you they dont know. It is just ignorance. We all knew the real Michael. He had a heart of gold. Just keep that in YOUR heart.
 
There are many cruel people in this world that you'll come across once in a while. Those are the people you should avoid. They don't understand anything so don't waste your time trying to explain. We know the truth and that's what counts.
 
thats really horrible but almost all people that are not MJ fans listen to the media and they think its true...
 
Talking about the media i have to say that anytime i read or hear something bad about My Michael,i am imediatly doing something.
Last night there was this documentary about Michael,named Michael Jackson what really happened,that was about the Jordan Chandeller case.
They just gave the idea that Michael could do anything.That he didn't have to care if it iwas legal or not because he could buy everything.
That documentary made me feel so mad,that i sent an e mail to the tv station saying the truth about it,and also the truth of what was happeningto all of us since michael left us.
They e mailed me back saying that they were sorry,and that they would take my e mail under consideration.
I hope they will.If i see anything,the smallest thing,they will hear again.And thi time i will not be nice.
 
I would deal with people like that by asking them some like, "who would know more, me, a dedicated MJ fan who knows nearly everything about him, or you, a hater who reads newspapers that seldom vet anything they print over the man?"

Fortunately, I am surrounded by MJ fans. Guess I'm lucky.

You got that right. I remember back in the early 90s. My only by marriage cousin was a Michael Jackson fan just like I was. In fact she was the only other Michael Jackson fan in my family full of haters. Well she remained a fan up until the 93 allegations came out. I was 13 years old when those allegations came out. I remember how upset I was over them. But I knew in my heart Michael was more than 100% innocent. Well when I saw my cousin again some weeks after those child molestation allegations came out. My cousin told me she no longer like Michael Jackson. And that surprised me because she was the one that showed me Michael's Bucharest Dangerous Concert for the first time. A year before that. I asked her if I could have her MJ stuff then and she just said no. I guess it is because she didn't like the fact that I was still a Michael Jackson fan. After what came out about him. She never gave me a real reason why she no longer like him. But I knew those child molestation allegations has something to do with it. I never told her this but maybe I should have because only a real Michael Jackson fan would know that Michael would never ever hurt a child in any way. Or believe the garbage that the tabloids or whatever news media would say about Michael. Thank god I am one of Michael's real fans. Have been for over 25 years now.
 
Many horrible people in this world. Not only MJ haters and the craptalkers, just lots of people in general. Just switch on Animal planet on tv and watch those shows about abused animals...really........speechless.
 
I remember Michael saying in an interview "People will always have a judgement about anything you do.....so it doesn't bother me...." --this one quote has helped me to not take haters so seriously --- Let them think what they want! It's not our fault that they're stupid enough to believe the lies :laugh:

Honestly, don't let the haters get to you. Just laugh at their face.....they don't know the truth. We do. Michael will live in our hearts forever.........but they'll never get to experience that. Too bad.
 
are you calling them friends? why are you talking to them and allowing them to upset you? i would only talk to people who are willing to listen to the truth. dont waste your time on ignorant ones. ignorance closes the book of the knowledge and says "i know everything"
 
Ppl around me believe in Media and keep in them mind that Michael Jackson doing this /that ...as the media said. Lately as Ian said ..gosh
When they ask me about Michael...I can feel sometime they don't want the answer or my opinion but just want me to feel down because they still act like..aha aha but they didn't believe in what I m saying or try to explain.. yeah and that waste my time.
So I avoid to talk much to the non-fans and don't wanna talk anything with the hater too. It can help safe me. I know how you feel :yes: give hug to you

Ditto the friend comment. I know of a fan/friend, that I have known from another soap opera forum, and she is/was a fan. I sent her an old Jackson 5 cartoon vid, and she said, "Seriously, please do not send me anymore Jackson 5/MJ vids. I am so tired of them, but yet, she had posted vids of Jermaine Jackson's songs prior to that in the same evening. Makes no sense. I am pissed off and feel that it could have been worded differently. I also feel she owes me an apology. What do you all think?

Don't worry about idiots like that, just know that you are a true fan and that noone can take that away from you. Being an MJ fan asks us to cop a lot. But it just makes us stronger people. I've had to deal with this sort of thing before and it really makes you see how a lot of people just can't see beyond things.
 
Well I have no problem forgiving ppl for being misinformed... that's no miracle by such a brain washing media around. But I do blame ppl for misjudgement cuz of being only superficially informed or simply non informed.
But to me the main problem is the media making money with fabricating their news as it serves them best.

So MichaelJackson4ever let me say this pretty clear... ppl behaving respectless towards someone you love do simply not respect you and are never to be called friends. A friend would simply not behave like that.
Then again I don't know how often they had a chance to get really informed or they took the chance themselves... that's all up to you.
I'm just sad cuz I think you and every other of us fans also would need support these times and not these kind of discussions or even have to explain a lot.
Well best is really as a fan to stick together and keep in touch with other fans.
 
Pay no attention to them. Sure, people will have their opinions and it would be nice if non-fans (don't exactly want to group everyone into haters) showed a little more respect for his fans. At least we know the truth about him. We know he had a heart of gold and was a lover of peace. Michael had more class and dignity than all those who feel the need to bash him at every chance.
 
I loathe the haters, I really do.
They hear one thing (utterly FALSE!) and believe it and won't be convinced with proof. Sad lives they lead.
 
That person is not a real friend. No matter what he thought of MJ personally, he should have known better than to say such things about him when you're grieving over his death. That was just heartless.
 
I actually don't think people are heartless even when they say bad things about Michael. They have been conditioned by the media for so long how can we expect them to know the truth just because we say it?
I wish it were so.

But still, it's heartless for someone to say such things to a person when their idol just died.

I know. I had to tell a lady that I work with that she can't go by what the media says, and how there are a lot of people, whom I personally were jealous of Michael, and that's why they said all of those terrible things. My other co-worker, also a MJ fan, said how he did a lot for children, and the needy and how he was a good person. She didn't say anything after that.

Sorry to hear that...:( The friend was extremely rude cuz it seems like he was gettin a kick out of talkin bad about Michael right in front of you. You two used to be close? I hope not cuz if so, he isn't someone you have to get in touch with again.

That must have hurt you a lot:( cuz she knew you're a fan...She should not have said anything about Michael when she had nothing good to say. And it was just a few days after he passed away...

Some people have no heart.
 
We must all bear in mind the fact that, for EVERY famous person with a big fan-base, there is always a good portion of people that don't like them, that never did. There is always at least a third of all people that never liked or knew well MJ and his music. Usually, the people that come out and speak bad about him -when they don't have an agenda as in the media- belong to this category. So this SHOULDN'T make us sad. They were never fans, not even in his target group audience. Let them think what they want. It will have NO impact at the end on how he will be remembered by the greatest part of society that was touched by his music at some point..
so, let them be

That was awfully insensitive of them to say seeing as how they knew you were a fan!

This reminds me of how I almost de-friended a facebook friend because the day of Michael's funeral, one of her friends sent her a glove and under the caption it read "here's a p*do***** glove" and my friend thought it was funny. I WANTED TO STRANGLE HER. Okay, maybe not strangle....maybe shank her with a blunt spoon. you get my point. It's sad that people are like this :/
