Everything is irritating to me today.
My anthropolgy prof was a BETCH and said I couldn't do my project on the thread because "it's popular culture, not folk culture" and bascially said because there is so much media coverage on Michael that was why I was doing it and that I had to talk to "real" people for my interviews, yeah because all of you are aliens or something and then she had the nerve to tell me I could do folklore of Elvis impersonators BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME RIGHT?!...suck my :censored:...I tried to explain that even though this place was created after his death it really has nothing to do with the media and we have our own weird customs but she just said "You would be setting yourself up to fail. Pick something else." :girl_tantrum: I have no idea what I'm going to do for it now...ugh. I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

I think she just assumed I wanted to do something on someone famous, she refused to believe me I was a fan before he passed...:angry: I don't want to fight her though cuz I know it just wouldn't be worth it...meh.

Serenity, I luv monologues of other people but when I look at mine I am like... WAAAAAH :D but other than that I am awesome ;) ;) ;)
I'm a hidden party as well, since we decided to admit who is hiding, which doesn't make sense anymore since the point is like ... to hide and be mysterious? :toofunny:

I hate that i went to a CD store the other day and i am trying to convert a friend to Michael she doesnt hate him but has only just started appreciating him. So we went to a CD store to get a few CDs for her and as she went to grab the last dangerous album thisother women tried to get it well..... I looked at her and went we were just buying this very politley and she scoffed (you know like a hocking noise) I went excuse me what was that meant to mean and she went you young girls are only fans because its cool now. Well i went off my head like screamed at her!! Got asked to leave the shop and my friend never got her CD!! Oh well!! Moral off the story dont question my love for mike!!!

i woulda hocked a luggy and spat on her.. :lol: j/k i would have at least asked WTF she needed to buy the CD for, she must be a new fan or something . and walked away with the CD for your friend.
