When I first heard about the news, I have to say I was so heartbroken and confused, I just needed something to hold on to…I just couldn’t believe it..it was such an incredible shock…so yes, I visited the hoax site…looking for a glimmer of hope. Most of the things written on the hoax sites are completely ridiculous..like the imposter theory (according to them, it was an imposter in TII), the dave dave theory, the movie theory etc. People were grasping at nothing. However, their dedication is admirable. These people took hours upon hours to go through pictures to find the subtlest differences to prove that the MJ in one pic is an imposter compared to another. I was not convinced at all..infact, a lot of the “proof” got me so frustrated because of the sheer ridiculousness of it. After about two weeks of hoping that he’s still with us, I came to the conclusion that he’s gone. I can’t be mad at the hoax believers for hoping that he’s still alive…they love him so much that they just can’t let him go. In time, they’ll come to realize and they’ll move on..until then, nobody can convince them otherwise. Most of the things on the hoax sites are not believable but there are some things that are soo off about this whole situation that I can see why people may take it as proof of a hoax. I’ve seen the videos, the so-called hat man and the blond lady…and no, I don’t think they’re Michael.
There were only a few things that kind of had me saying hmm…but of course that doesn’t mean that it’s because of a hoax. So these are the things that stand out to me..
1. Apparently, the hoax site was created a day or two before the 25th. Someone found a screen shot of it cached on Google. I’ve seen the screen shot…I’m not really convinced because I’m sure that can be photoshopped. I’m not an expert at these things so I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference…and according to the site owner, it was a mistake on Google’s part. Don’t quote me on it..i don’t know details. So that at first seemed a little fishy but I guess people can fabricate anything these days so I don’t know..
2. The live feed of the funeral from CNN…the part that the family allowed us to see..there are some parts, where second to second, there are trees and garbage cans just materializing and disappearing. I don’t know how these people caught that…they must have been going trough the footage frame by frame. I admit, it was a little odd seeing that...it was literally second to second the back ground changed…but that can be because of differences in camera angles…so..
3. Something about the death certificates…apparently, there are a few different ones floating around with three different serial numbers. There might be a perfectly reasonable explanation for this though...so this isn’t much of a proof either..
4. On janet’s interview on abc, she mentioned that she was in NY when she heard the news…but in her bazaar interview she said that she was on the set of her movie in Atlanta. Her director Tyler Perry also confirmed it in an interview..he said she was going into wardrobe or something…it was a video interview done by entertainment tonite or Access Hollywood..not sure which one. Not sure why there’s that difference…probably doesn’t mean anything but still..it’s a bit odd to get the places mixed up…there can be a hundred different reasons for this..doesn’t have to be a hoax.
So there are def things that may seem odd…and people can take any situation and mold it to fit their beliefs…I guess people deal with loss differently and this whole hoax thing is just another way dealing…
As much as I’d love for Michael to be still around here on earth, I just don’t think that’s the case.. :no:
