Good morning fellow Aussies...and the adopted Kiwi :p :waving:

I'm sitting here typing up an outline for a whole bunch of blogs I need to write stretching back to Xmas...because I'm THAT big of a slacker :ph34r: My poor blog on blogger hasn't been updated in forever.... :blink:

btw --- if any of you have blogger... let me know, that's where i am :D

Anyhow, back to making my outline :p

Such a tedious process...Why can't someone advertise on Seek "Nay's Dream Job. Full Time. Sydney. Comes with Harbour Apartment and big salary. Only people called Nay need apply" :p Surely I'd get it, right? hehe

Good luck job hunting. If you get bored.... you or anyone else on here, you can help me look for pics of MJ that are good quality, have copywrite info still with them, etc. :blink: It aint easy....

The powerhouse museum emailed again. they said the jacket is indeed from motown 25, and the glove is what he had on when he won that huge stack of Grammies. They go on display friday and are there until november. :woohoo:

They'd love to have a better pic of him wearing each...... so i'm looking. But yeah, copywrite is an issue. Right now I'm trolling getting images... rex images... time life....

Any other ideas??? :blink: Any at all???

In my experience in media....if you've seen the image in another magazine - use it :lol:

That's what we did all the time. If it's ok for someone else to print it, then you can too. There's some pretty well known images from that day...maybe google image search it, and anything that pops out that you've seen printed, probably the best option.

Yes, that's not the most "legal" way to do things haha. But got us through :p

Yeah I'd love to do it that way but the powerhouse guy said that legally they have to clear the copywrite. As soon as I read that I was like..............damn! :( Makes it much harder....

OMG I know... I can't wait to see... I told him it's like a friggin holy grail LOL :p

To stand right next to that jacket and that glove.......

Oh and he said when it goes in friday keep an eye out in the news because there are press planning to be there :D

aww i didn't end up sleeping till 7:30 :lol: i ended up going out at like 3:30 in the morn *as ya do* and then got up again jus before 3pm :p

I'm fine having the most unproductive day i've had in a while :p like i said got up at 3 then had a really long shower, had breakfast then watched a program called @seven that i taped from last night now i'm jus sittin here :p

I've got like........12 :lmao: I love to write for the hell of it but the few friends and family that have the addy for it like knowing what I'm up to or crabby about or whatever :p They start to get on my case after a while if I don't keep it up.... like now :rofl: I'd give you the addy but it's invite only so i'd need an email addy ;)

Doesn't sound to bad!! sometimes i like just sitting around.... I've just been on here and pic hunting and that's about it now.....

At least it's not roasting out :)

Yea it's cloudy once again here 2 and i just looked at the metservice site and we arent getting another day of sun till next monday :tonofbricks *i was trying to find a different 1 but found that 1 first XD*

and i'm not complaining lol i love just lounging all day everyday :p

Will this world ever get better :(

Anyone hear about the attack in Afghanistan? On the government? One of my best friends, her boyfriend is over there at the moment for work, and is there for the next 9 months. He's working right in the middle of it, and was so close to the attack, that his windows shook :( How scarey.

I feel so helpless...really makes it all real when someone you love is in that situation. I can't believe she has to deal with that for the next 9 months :(

I wish this world was a better place :( Why is the world such a mess - all these wars and everything else, it's so depressing.

Bono was right, 'We're one...but we're not the same' :cry:

Logan you should get some sort of notification from either blogger or google or gmail... since all three are sort of together anyhow :p Now go in and edit that and get your email addy out of there lol. Otherwise someone else might spam you or something which would not be cool!

Nay, as the niece of a contractor currently in Iraq I know exactly what you are feeling (well mostly, everyone is different but still...) and you need to breathe..... relax... like totally sit for a few mins with MJ on and close your eyes and slow down a little.

I've been through exactly that scarey stuff SO many times.... first when my uncle was still in the marines and deployed in Iraq, then when he retired and went there as a contractor. It's f@cking hard knowing someone in that situation. :huggy:

I'm glad he is okay! I can't imagine how often bad things happen over there :( My uncle doesn't talk about it much. He was in Fallujah when that big crazy raid thing happened a few years ago and omg... he is this huge guy, but when he came back, he tried to tell us some of it...

And he wonders why we didn't want him to go back as a regular non-military person... :ph34r:

9 months is a long time. My uncle has 6 I believe. It's great to work there and help and rebuild and things but jeez... I don't think I could do it.

There's just so much shit going on in this world. Remember the days when you watched the news, and it actually had happy stuff in it!

It's all doom and gloom, there's so many unfortunate people in this world, and then people go make things worse....I just don't understand it all.

Sorry to dampen the mood in here...just wanted to get that out of my head :(

^ Yeah it seems like forever ago that the news had positive and happy things in it...

I think the internet age and all of it, has brought the world closer in and made the world smaller that way and we just see SO much more of it than we use to. And as we get older we see more too?

It sure can be very depressing :)
