Just In: Conrad Murray Visits Michael Jackson's Final Resting Place

I thought of that too but didn't want to say so because so many are so angry at the man. I saw it as going to him for guidance. I have in my head that he is 'sorry' and he doesn't know where to turn. Not sympathy as much as empathy.

"Going to him for guidance?" Are you SERIOUS? Really? This is really, really too much. . . . We have NO idea what his motivations were, and neither do you. Murray has never, ONCE, said "sorry." Sure, there is the legal case to come, and he has to be careful about self-incrimination. But he has not ONCE said to the Jacksons so much as, "sorry for your loss." He would not incriminate himself by saying that. It would be a HUMAN response. He has not said that -- to the children, the family, to fans, or to anyone. He does not know where to turn? Hopefully, it's to turn himself in to police? You are just guessing here.

Sympathy, in terms of semantics, implies being "sorry," but also carries with a sense of privilege, as in "being sorry for someone, or for some situation." He's not said that he is sorry, in any way, shape, or form.

Empathy literally implies walking in someone else's shoes, understanding what they FEEL. In terms of Murray, we do not know what he "feels." And neither do YOU. We can imagine what a "normal" person might feel. We do not know that about Murray. He has given us so little, really.

We have no idea why he was at the cemetery.
To express remorse? To gloat? To seek some sort of closure for himself? "Guidance?" I highly doubt that. We have NO idea what he feels, because he's never said. . . .

Angry? Grief-stricken is more like it. This man's face was literally the last face that Michael saw. This IS a Michael Jackson board. We loved him. We still do. . .

I may trashed for this but am I the only one on here who isn't bothered by this. Do I think he killed Michael intentionally...no Do I think there was gross negligence on his part...of course. Maybe I'm way off the line but maybe just maybe he feels bad about all this. Look I know some of his decisions in the past 7 months haven't been the greatest but I try to see the best in all people and I want to believe that he maybe just maybe feels bad and wanted to say sorry. I know right now that may be hard for some of you to believe and I understand how you feel but that's just my opinion. I'm not trying to defend him but I'm just trying best to understand.

Did you watch the video on Entertainment tonight? If not, go watch the clip and come back here to edit your post.

He freakin' tip a tabloid show (which means he received money to disrespect MJ and his family) and you find nothing appalling in that?

He is being paid for these photo ops, without a doubt. He owes money to his numerous baby mamas. Several thousands dollars from a tabloid show would fill his pocket quickly. Sickening.

I find that very appalling!

While reading all these posts I have been trying to find out how this all makes me feel and I have to say I am kinda numb. I do know, though that I don't feel 'hate' towards Murray for visiting Forest Lawn. It's one of the lessons I learned from Michael, not to spread hate. Instead I keep wondering why he wanted to have the camera crew there with him if he's there because he has something on his conscience and maybe he would like to apologize Michael and solve things with him first? I don't know.

If he wanted to visit the cemetery, for whatever reasons, fine. We do not KNOW those reasons. For the sake of his soul, I hope his reasons were good.

Why he wanted a camera crew there? For PR, obviously. That should have been a private moment, but it was not.

I understand that anyone in a medical profession can make a mistake... but I'm finding it so so friggin hard to see Murray in that light. If it was anyone else that had been the victim, I wonder if I'd think differently... and that bothers me... I know everyone deserves their day in court, I know that, but jeez it's difficult to not feel anything but anger and hurt and just evils at Murray... :(

Anyone know what I mean?

And I still think if there were camera crews there that it his visit was for PR.... even though people on here are right, we have no idea what he his reasons were.

Gaaaaaaaa it just feels like too much sometimes, it's so complicated on so many levels

thats enough, all of you!!!

Look at what michael's death has done to you all!! It's turned you into hateful, unforgiving imps!! If murray visited michael's grave then maybe he feels guilt and maybe he went there as a way to say sorry!! Instead of judging him, why don't you put yourselves in that position!!

Murray is not a murderer. A murderer is someone who intentionally kills someone. What murray did was nothing more than an accident caused by his own stupidity. But your all so blinded by your own hate that you can't even see that!! Yes, he killed michael. But it was an accident.

You call yourselves mj fans...do you honestly think michael would approve of anything said here?! What would he think of us?!

I'm honestly dissapointed in you lot...i thought you were stronger than that...but after seeing the comments here...your no better than haters...

amen to that, i completely agree with you

Why should we not be angry at Conrad Murray? If he was sorry for what he did why was there a camera crew there? I will say it I hate Conrad Murray and I don't care who does not like it. You go to see the person you may be charged with killing for guidance. Are you serious? You go see your damn your damn pastor for guidance get on your knees and pray guidance. This is by far the most infuriating thing you have said since you started coming here. Go start a Conrad Murray board. This is a Michael Jackson board remember him? Does anyone on this board give a damn about him anymore?

I agree with you

That's why I fail to understand him. Who knows he may have had good intentions for being there, but they all were flushed down the toilet when he allowed the cameras to follow him.

Who wants to bet how much Entertainement Tonight & The Insider paid him to go to MJ's final resting place? These are the only shows reporting this, so I am willing to bet he is being paid for this exclusive. He probably called them up and arranged this.

That is just despicable!

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. He has to pay child support (and back child support), and has to also pay many many MANY debts. Along with all her lawyer fees, he's F'd. He needs money, and who else better to go to than ET!?!?!?

Don't jump on me for having empathy. I said CLEARLY I SAW IT AS which is how I view it. Now you are once again putting words in my mouth. Please stop doing that. My religious views come into play here, not my feelings for revenge.

Once again you have tried to start a fight. I'm not going for it this time. Sorry. Go pick on someone else.

No I haven't seen it yet. About half an hour to go till it airs here. I just wanted to say I respect everyone's opinion here, while I may not always agree with everything that is being said I do feel it is only fair for everyone to be able to express what they feel. As for Mr. Murray saying sorry as hard as this may be to understand at this point maybe he's afraid of visiting the Jackson's at this time, I mean he did kill their son it would be a hard thing to do, Idk as I said before I may be way off with what I'm saying. I just miss Michael and hope his family is okay and Mr. Murray get the right punishment and justice is served of course no sentence can bring back Michael at this point but it may be a form of relief to the Jackson's if/when he is charged.

Oooh, Dr. Death is sooo lucky my friends and I live on the East Coast and weren't at FL that day. Otherwise, we would have put our knife throwing skills to the test. I suck at throwing things, but with the way I feel about this guy and the emotions running through me, I wouldn't have missed.

My first reaction to hearing this...is HOW DARE HE!

I'm mad and I'm angry and I'm hurt...

why? why? he doesn't deserve to be within 100 feet of that sacred ground...not to look upon the mausoleum...or his shoes upon the granite...or to breath the air of holly terrace....

why does HE get to be THERE??!! is he sorry? did he LOVE Michael? I dont know the answers to theses questions so I am left to think the worst...so for me Murry should not have that honor to see Michael that is for those who loved him not his wallet-_-

in my eyes as of now....

you are a VILLIAN, Murry.

Last time I respond but I forgot to say that legally he can not apologize. It implies guilt and you should know that. I am sure you do know that but once again time to rile up the crowd.

Please once again, don't put words in my mouth. I stated in my post it was how I see it which is how I see it....which means how I personally feel. I never said it was a fact. Carry on Vic.

I completely agree with everything that you said. :clapping:

You have no earthly idea how angry I am right now. I am angry at Murray for making a mockery at Michael and I am angry at some of Michael's so called "fans" for thinking it is OK

He could not call the Jacksons and say how sorry he was for the lost of there son? A man he was treating who died in his care?

I'm sure the cameras are for this new reality show with him in it airing later this year. about life after this whole mess... i'm sure some of you may heard. I don't know if this is 100% true

I have no desire to "fight" with you, and I will not. But yet, you continue to post here in support of Murray, and that must be answered, on this Michael Jackson board. My words were from the heart. Sympathy and empathy are different. As I said, empathy is about walking in someone else's shoes, feeling what THEY feel. None of us knows what Murray feels, because he's never said, and he's never even said to the Jacksons, "sorry for your loss." Not even that much.

In my way of thinking, Murray destroyed the "empathy" potential by inviting a camera crew to his "private" visit to the cemetery. I can't imagine any reasonable person would have any other way of seeing that?

I believe that Murray deserves fair-treatment under the law. Anyone deserves that. I cannot possibly understand his motives for visiting the cemetery, and NO ONE else here can, either.

Don't even THINK of bringing religion into this. . . . Do NOT even go there. This is an international board, and love IS the answer. Do not underestimate the love for Michael here, either. . . . . .

I didn't say not to be angry. Be whatever you need to be or feel. I merely stated my view of what I thought he was doing. I don't know obviously and maybe he didn't do it for the reasons I think.

What does that have to do with how I feel towards Michael? I am automatically supposed to hate someone just because everyone else here hates them. Sorry. I don't hate like that.

You have no earthly idea how angry I am right now. I am angry at Murray for making a mockery at Michael and I am angry at some of Michael's so called "fans" for thinking it is OK

I know how you're feeling, but I think I am a little calmer now. I was fuming earlier, but I cooled off a bit.

I do hate Murray, I know it's not good to use the word "hate" but I do HATE him. I will never forgive him and I hate him.

And you have no idea how long I have wanted to say that ("Go start a conrad murray board")

He could not call the Jacksons and say how sorry he was for the lost of there son? A man he was treating who died in his care?

Right. He could not do that, apparently, and he did not. He could have done at least that much? I fully understand the legal issues and his wanting to not incriminate himself. Saying, "So sorry for your loss," is not incriminating. It's just. . kind? He did NOT do that. . . . . . . and he should have, as a human-being.

I don't give a toss who you hate. But don't act shocked that people on this board hate Conrad Murray. If you want to light a candle for him then fine but don't expect the rest of us to follow and don't try to tell people they are wrong for how they feel

He could not call the Jacksons and say how sorry he was for the lost of there son? A man he was treating who died in his care?

I believe his lawyers would have told him not to do that. It implies guilt. You would have to look that up on a legal board if you don't believe me or understand why.

In fact, I have no idea if he called them. I have no idea of a lot of things. We don't have all the facts of this case.

I merely empathize with another human being.

1. Some of you needs to get off your high horse and come back to reality.

2. Its great that some of you are ready to go to LA (possibly) and give Conrad Murderer a hug, kiss, and sing KUMBAYA with him.... Great for you.
Great for you that you don't harbor hate. Great for you that you are able to forgive.

BUT DON'T SIT HERE AND TELL OTHERS HOW TO FEEL.

You want to talk about being DISAPPOINTED in other MJ FANS??? Are you serious? Why.... because we are human and we are grieving, we are angry, we are hurt?

AND BECAUSE WE CAN SEE A PR STUNT CLEAR AS DAY????

Instead of JUDGING, REBUKING, and DISRESPECTING other Fans.... how about refrain from coming into this thread if it is so APPALLING to you.

I HOPE YOU STILL HAVE THIS VIEW WHEN THE TRIAL START AND IN MURRAY'S DEFENSE, THEY DRAG MJ's name through the MUD with lies.

And for the record I don't hate the MURDERER. He won't have that power over me.

I am ANGRY, I am hurt, I am sad, and I am not alone.

In the whole grand scheme of things... FORGET how I am feeling.

Whether or not this happened due to negligence or done intentionally..

CONRAD MURDERER is the CAUSE of TEARS that are SHED by PRINCE, PARIS, and BLANKET. Along with many others.

Maybe he does, but the fact that he had a camera crew filming him doesn't really show sincerity on his part.
