Dr. Conrad Murray will walk into court on his own free will Monday and face the judge after being charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say counsel for Murray spoke by phone with members of the L.A. County District Attorney's Office this morning and the D.A. agreed Dr. Murray could surrender without being arrested.

Unless the LAPD intervenes on its own and hooks Dr. Murray up, we're told he'll show up in court with a bail bondsman on Monday. We're also told the recommended bail will be $25,000, which will be posted on the spot.

Sources also tell TMZ the arraignment will take place at 1:30 PM on Monday.

The judge will order Dr. Murray to go to an LAPD station for booking. It's unclear how long Murray will have to appear at the station.

the problem is it doesnt matter how many outlets report a news story interms of deciding if the story is credible or not if all the different news outlets are all using the same singular source. prime example being cnn over the last few days. within minutes of tmz posting something new cnn have run with the story. obviously their souce is tmz same with sky news in the uk.even the AP have taken things direct from tmz.

Trust me, Fox news is NOT using TMZ as their only source. I can see CNN and MSNBS would be using each other s source but they don't all rely upon TMZ. No.

I tried calling the D.A.'s office but it was busy, so I guess that's a good sign? A lot of fans must be calling.

Also a friend of mine, MicHil on this forum, tried calling and supposedly the woman she talked to didn't know anything. She just kept saying that "she didn't know" to all of her questions. lmfao nvm she is online. :lol:

I just don't know what to say. I hope TMZ is wrong about all of this because if they did all this damned hoopla over how he turns himself in then just stick a fork in it and call it done. To treat someone that may have killed a person like friggin' royalty is just crazy. I just can't believe it.

well , blame no one but his own family who sold him out for money and allowed oxman to call him everyname under the sun since day one . When his own family says he was an addict and out of control and they tried but failed ALTHOUGH THAT WAS NOT TRUE , then you can't blame the common joe .

MY son was here when I made the call...lol he said, mom, "who was that"? I showed him the face book and our MJJC page and he was like you go mom. I was so pissed cuz he my son had a laser light pen and the police hand cuffed him as as they said someone called them and said they saw a gun! They sent 8 cops here. I opened up the front door and their were 8 LAPD cops telling us to come outside backwards with our hands on our heads. Handcuffed me, my husband and my two sons. Searched our home and found nothing. In fact, That was the same week I had returned from Japan to see Michael 2007. All my son had was my husbands laser pointer he uses at work during his presentations. They finally uncuffed us but the humiliation was heartbreaking. I've never put trust in them since.
Now you know damn well, they can go arrest MURRAY, throw his sorry ass in jail until they figure out what to charge his ass with.
BTW, I sued their asses too for that mess.

well, after I read what a high rank official in the DA's office told LATimes yesterday and their opinion of Murray , maybe the only reason they are going to charge him is because of the public outcry if he is not charged . I feel they don't believe he is that much guilty .

Both of those Daily Beast articles are written by Gerald Posner who did the first print fluff "interview" with Murray, went further to write an article speculating that Michael injected and killed himself (despite the coroner ruling his death a homicide), went on show after show claiming that the autopsy photos were leaked, and on and on and on....in short, I would take anything he writes with a grain of salt because he certainly seems to doing his best to support the defense.

As a Michael Jackson fan since always,there's answers i need to have,NOW.
My questions are:
- Have the files been handed over to the DA's office yet ? If so, is this the major crimes division ?I surely hope so!
- When do you expect to arrest Conrad Murray ?(yesterday is too late already)

This is, basically, outrageous. What it seems like now is that they are letting the ACCUSED dictate the terms of his own arrest? As we know, Michael was blindsided, did not know he'd be placed in handcuffs, and also as we know, the SBPD HURT him, intentionally. I wouldn't wish that on anyone in that way, but Murray should be treated as anyone would who is about to be arrested for MURDER. Michael behaved with great dignity. I wonder if Murray would do the same, under those conditions?

This is sounding like a jurisdiction in disarray, and airing dirty-laundry in public. This disarray cannot help but influence the outcome. This is totally disgusting. . . .

Also as we know, Murray's attorneys have hired a PR firm (I gave the link to their website in another thread, if anyone wants to learn about their tactics?). I'm sure they planned the photo-op at the cemetery. That was, also, outrageous! (Sneddon also had a PR firm during the trial. They did everything from planning press conferences, to stalking fan boards and news sites, and leaving pro-Sneddon comments. I KNOW this, ok?. . . . it happened to ME, when I was writing articles about the trial.)

I do not plan to write about all this. It would just be too emotionally wrenching. But it's about time for someone to stand UP and blow this out of the water. Murray was not ALONE in that house. . now was he. . . . .

Thank you, it's my sons I have to protect from them. I and my husband are fine but they [ploice tend to stereotype individuals on the surface before they ask question. Now my son are always aware of their surroundings and they too have right. They haven't been around and we are all very good people and without criminal records but to the cops, it's a different scenerio sometimes. They like to pester folks that are minding their own business instead of taking care of more serious sh!t like MURRAY!

Why is Murray being treated like royalty after causing someone's death? It's a frigging joke. He should be arrested and cuffed like everyone else, if they did it to MJ who did nothing wrong, how can they justify not doing this to a killer?

Why did they announce when the warrant will be issued, giving Murray 'heads up' so he can surrender. It should be unannounced so they can catch him out.

Jermaine Jackson Wants Michael's Doc "Cuffed"

The police didn't hold back when they arrested Michael Jackson on suspicion of child molestation. So why should they tone it down when it's a matter of life and death?

So suggests Michael's brother Jermaine, who says that Dr. Conrad Murray should be arrested like any other suspected criminal.

"I think he should be cuffed, he should be fingerprinted, he should have his mug shot just like they did my brother," Jermaine Jackson told Entertainment Tonight.

When this whole process finally gets under way, that is.

"I just feel like it took so long to arrest this guy," the former Jackson 5 crooner continued. "And to just let this go on, [it's] putting daggers in our hearts and my mother's."

"Michael's not coming back, so where's the closure?" Jermaine added. "Where is the closure?"

Murray was originally supposed to face arraignment today for his alleged role in the King of Pop's death by propofol overdose on June 25, 2009. But due to a disagreement between the L.A. County District Attorney's Office and the LAPD over the terms of his surrender, the proceedings were postponed until Monday, according to the physician's attorneys.

Meanwhile, family patriarch Joe Jackson has his own opinion about the change of plans.

"They're supposed to do something today, but they're trying to sweep it under the rug," he told E! News Friday.

"I should have been smarter about what [Murray] administered to my brother outside a hospital setting," Jermaine told ET. "Michael was excited about his shows and he should still be here."

Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Céline Dion, Smokey Robinson and Usher sang Jackson's "Earth Song," which was to be a central part of the artist's ill-fated This Is It comeback tour, at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards last weekend.
