i'm at work since 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and online on MJJC almost all day. my computer has been on a good stuation, noone can see my monitor.

but on Monday, my table is going to change and my monitor will be seen by everyone in our office.:aggressive: so, i won't be able to come to the forum, you know i come here in secretly:secret: since i'm at work.

please, tell me, what can i do? how can i come to the forum stealthily? please, help me, i do not know what to do:girl_cry:

well, if everyone will be able to see your monitor, I'm sorry to say that I don't have a solution Just take advantages of situations when nobody is around! And be quick lol. Too bad they're changing your place

Unfortunately there's not much you can do, other than use 'tabs' so that MJJC is hidden when you're not using it, and you'll have to cut down the amount of time that you're online.

Shows how MJJC is a way of life for some!

If you are absolutely sure that you can't go without being on MJJC while at work, then, like the others said, you'll just have to grab those quick opportunities, if you have them. Otherwise, I would really try to cut down. It's not worth losing your job. :no: Do you know for sure that your workplace can't just look in the computers' history to see what people have been looking at?

Isnt there a print friendly mode on the forum where no images can be seen, just the text? That way It would be much harder for people to see what you are on.

and any other personal device with Internet access.

Please don't lose your job over this. I would stop checking MJJC at work altogether, at least on the job. Not fair to your employer although I totally understand the need.
Lunch time on your personal device would be my advice.

Thank you blue_eyed_belle! And that's what I was wondering about, even though the history on a individual computer can be deleted, that doesn't mean that there isn't a central hub where all of the computers can be tracked. I don't know what kind of workplace MyLifeMJ is in.

That's what I do at work...use the Plain MJ skin.....But I don't have much of a solution either...other than take quick opportunities to go online....That's what I do at work..all the time....When I have a chance, I quickly lurk, I usually don't post that much...and the computers are slower at work, and can't seem to always handle this site...I wonder sometimes if I'll end up crashing all the computers at work :bugeyed

But yeah, I don't think there's much else you can do....It sux though...it really does...

I think it's an option in your profile/preferences setting.

I even have the plain skin on my own laptop because to me the other skins are just a tad too busy, I slide into visual overkill really fast. I also find the light blue easier on the eyes for extreme MJJC surfing. Also preferring the layout.

Also, I really don't need to let the entire Starbucks and Subway community know that "if it's aching, you have to rub it", you know what I mean? I'm all for that, but there are times and places for it that are more suitable than others.
Unfortunately people outside the MJ realm don't understand much, pearls before swine, I don't wanna waste precious pearls.
I already learned that the practical way- when I had a "cat call whistle" on my phone set as a message ringtone. One day my boss walked by my desk and just in that second a text message came in- and gave the impression that I am whistling at my boss walking by.

Yeah, lesson learned.

i’m a statistician and work as a civil cervant. Yes, the central computer save our computer history of course. There are firewall systems and many secutiy settings, we cannot be online on every web sites, like video or some photo web sites or you know immoral things etc.
but there are thousands of people at our work in the whole country.it’s hard for the IT department to track site by site and employe by employe. They know i’m online on MJJC, but it’s not a big problem for them, because it’s a safe site. But on the other hand, it’s a problem for my own manager, because he would think i didn’t work efficiently because of MJ and i don’t want him think about me in this way, because to be honest i’m a great employe. :cheeky:

Oh Pace MioDolceCuore, you can be sure i never ever neglect my job, i’m really a hardworker. But i work faster than many other employes and this give me more time to log in MJJC, thank you for your kind advices, you are so kind, thank you so much again :flowers:
