don't you see the lack of respect towards MJ made by the Estate ?

I saw the logo in 5 mn...so I can't understand how the Estate didn't see it !!!?

I can accept the error from the artist who made it but i can't accept the error from the Estate !

The teaser will be a snippet of the song. I very much doubt the Prince logo means there is a duet. As i said earlier it probably just represents their rivalry. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

To the fans who are boycotting the album and whose vitriol is being picked up in the press, go f^%$ yourselves, seriously...

Let the (real) fans enjoy this moment. We've waited nine years for it. Michael would want us to be happy...

O, no I know people here aren't going to do that ( That's why I love coming here :) )
I was talking about fans on other boards or groups that according to others are expressing things like this on twitter and stuff like that.
I feel the same way as you, that this is a gift to us.

Yes, because that symbol does not belong to Prince. And it's you the one who is so concerned about this and it's you who is mainly complaining about this. Of course some fans are not pleased with the artwork, but it's simply impossible to have the whole fan base to agree on any single thing. And that's not the idea, any way. We can all disagree and yet, respect each other.

I disagree with you regarding the importance of this tiny little thing, but I respect your concern. But that doesn't mean I have to follow your idea of considering this as a disrespect to Michael. And in fact, I don't see any disrespect.

Do you believe Michael hated Prince or something like that? Well, that's an old story the media created. Did you read one of the last interviews of Austin Brown? He explained how MJ felt about Prince and the stupid idea of they hating each other. Certainly Prince has shown no disrespect to MJ since his passing, as some many other "close friends" have done.

So I don't see the point in considering this any disrespect. I see cops there. Should I consider this as disrespectful to MJ because of the issues he had with the police during the trial? I see camaras and flashes there. Should I consider this as disrespectful because all of the problems MJ had with the media? Should I see Bashir there?

This is art. And that means there's not only one way to read the piece. You can read it in many different ways and you will find different meanings according to your personal experiences. And that must be respected. But you should also try to respect the rest of us who don't read this piece the way you do.

I love the cover. And if any problems arise, then I will know where the problems started -_-

@Gaz and Mods - this would probably be the best of times to make a "Michael-album" sub-forum. So all the discussions on the album can be contained in one sub-forum but on several threads.

Because this threads is becoming... Confusing, lol!

The Prince symbol is the symbol for love!!!!!! Love, as in L.O.V.E. Its not supposed to have anything to do with Prince.

You've been nothing but negative since we recieved news about the album! Does that not worry you at all?

Someone else also said that the love symbol was a mix of the male/female symbols - which could be a great reference to Michael's androgynous appearance! :D

So no more Prince - way more Michael! :cheeky:

don't you think that Charlie Chaplin, Fred Astaire, Liz Taylor or James Brown should have been there instead of Prince ?

I'm a big fan of Prince but please this is an ERROR !

The Estate didn't do its Job !

Oh my God. I am NOT disapointed by the album cover.. I think it's GREAT.. And it reminds me of Dangerous cover.. I CAN'T WAIT OMG OMG... :D

The cover is brilliant because it's Michael's wholesome career! Who cares about the damn symbols? Dangerous is full of it! After 9 years we will listen to his voice in an album AGAIN! That's what matters! Let's make him proud! The Jackson legions are ready to praise the KING!

Obviously you didn't even took the time to read my post. That's why you just don't care our opinion, just your rant. If you are this angry, then go to the Estate and talk to them.

In the middle of your big rant... don't you care at all about the music? I mean, this is all about music. But you keep ranting and playing with this symbol. Do it.
