As suspected due to the late timing of the announcement yesterday, many news outlets waited until today to report on the new album. Some big outlets that have reported on the new album include:

Oxman should STFU.

It's as close as we will get to the "real deal". Michael didn't release it because he always recorded new stuff, it was never good enough for him.

It is bittersweet, but I will celebrate what we have and what we will get in the future.

But why wouldn't there be? Michael's albums always consisted of many self written tracks and only one or two songs by someone else...right? For example R.Kelly.

I am so excited! I feel a bit strange tho. Like I dunno what to do. I feel like jumping up and down in joy. But for some reason, I am screaming on the inside. Maybe cause Michael is ya know..:angel: I feel so happy ..maybe it's another feeling of bittersweet? I'm just glad to hear what he had to say and express before he left...

The official press release talked about a completely different single. I'm sticking with that. Hold my hand should NOT NOT NOT be on the cd.

I just started counting from this respect and (I hate to be negative) but based on the rumours it doesn't look good:

Another Day - not written by Michael
Hold my hand - not written by Michael
The Cascio tracks - not written by Michael

Those are five tracks already on the album, not written by Michael.

Would make sense, it has that "Chrismas feel". I just hope it's only MJ and if at all only very little Akon vocals.

I don't know if you were replied already, but yes there is. You can see a piece of HIStory statue on very right, above Dangerous eyes. That's not the entire pic that's been created by the way. The painter, Kadir Nelson replied to someone via email that the whole painting will be revealed on michaeljackson.com later so there's a big possibility the rest of the pic will have something from the HIStory as well as from the Invincible eras.

Sony Music's press release talks about 'breaking news' which IS NOT the 1st single.

on Monday, November 8th the world premiere of “Breaking News,” a full track from the album, will stream on the site for one week only.

Why the hell is Oxman shooting his mouth off to the press?????
I'm completely bewildered. All he ever does is criticise Michael, Sony, and the Estate. Isn't he the Jackson family lawyer? Didn't the Jackson family have some involvement in this album? Shouldn't Oxman be trying to help the album along instead of attacking it???

Very happy album is finally released. My hesitation about it
is the fact that Michael did not complete his music to his own
standards. His was the genius that produced his wonderful
catalogue. This one is different. I believe I will focus on his
lyrics and the tone in his voice. I'm respectful of the people he
chose to work with and believe in their desire to honor him and
produce the very best result. However, it is not Michael. That's
where I'll miss him more.

Okay seriously what is going on in the Jackson family?
You've got the people saying the kids/Katherine don't think it's Michael but then you've got a tweet from Jackie saying the album sounds incredible?!

Someone is lying out there... Why would the kids/katharine have a problem with it yet Jackie doesn't?
The family needs to come out and say something personally about all of this because confusion is not helping the album at all.
Now Oxman is getting in on it as well, why can't it all just end?
And if it's true that the children are being forced to pick a side that just incredible sad.

I think I'm going to believe Jackie since that's the only one who so far has said anything about it personally. Maybe we should ask some other family members about it as well.

I totally feel you, but the comments everyone said about the materials are shocking! they said he's at his very best and never before! that's why i believe in this album! and we all should! let's keep the faith :)
