Possible reason 3T (Taj, Taryll & TJ) are against the Cascio track??

if you read it carefully he's mentioning 3 songs - 1 that he wrote (She was loving me) , 1 from Robin Thick (fall again) and 1 that Taryll planned to do with Michael (unnamed - not recorded).

He says that Sony asked him to finish his song (She was loving me) that Michael did vocals and he asked Taryll to rework the song with him.

so basically there's a Corey Rooney song (She was loving me) with finished Michael's vocals that Corey and Taryll reworked and produced.

that's how I understood it.

plus see this part

didn't Teddy Riley already said this after Corey's previous facebook posts that Corey and Taryll were working together? Apparently Teddy wasn't lying about the work connection between them.

edit: Just as I mentioned Teddy Riley, he just tweeted this new information to his followers.

Looks like Teddy just found out about it

A lot of fans know about She Was Loving Me for awhile now. It was recorded for Invincible but didn't make the cut

Although people feel Taryll and his brothers are being petty about it, I'd have to say the same about Teddy. He called a fan a b*tch and a sl*t when she questioned him and he just tweeted this

@carameliced So if Will I am is talking about **** him...I am legend!!!!! I'm the wrong dude to get at!!!! about 4 hours ago via Twitter for Android in reply to carameliced

I see Taryll and Cory's points but I also see Teddy's points. Honestly I feel NEITHER side are truly at fault....

I'm so disappointed with 3T. I used to love them, I even saw them performing live a couple of years ago, but now it seems like they are just as bad as the rest of their family. How on earth do you solve anything by ranting about it on Twitter? All they're doing is dividing the fanbase and trying to make the album become a commercial failure. Yet at the same time they claim to be concerned about their uncle's legacy  If they were so convinced that Sony is committing fraud, they should take legal action. I'm no expert in this field, but I am pretty sure there has to be something their family can do apart from venting their frustrations on Twitter.

Right now they, along with some fans, are doing the exact same thing that tore Michael apart: accusing people of crimes without any type of evidence. The Cascio's, who have been close friends with Michael for almost 20 years and not once betrayed him, are labled as greedy frauds based on nothing but a "feeling" that this is not Michael. Sure, I'll be the first to admit that their songs indeed do not sound like the Michael we're used to, but what can you expect from unfinished material that is heavily processed to arrive at the final product we're hearing now? Of course there are samples from other Michael songs in there, what else can you expect when Michael is not here to fill in the blanks? And Sony already admitted that there is a second vocal on the track, which is not that uncommon either. All this don't make these songs "fake". I do believe that Michael recorded a rough version of the Cascio songs but just never got to finishing it, that's why they had to complement it the way they did. Personally, I love Breaking News and its message. It's the catchier version of Tabloid Junkie imo.

As the lines get drawn, Sharpton told the Post that he's already received a flurry of calls from top-level artists and producers upset with Jackson and coming to Mottola's defense, including producers Steve Stoute and Corey Rooney.

In 2002, Rooney supported Tommy Mottola against Michael Jackson. Last paragraph...

Jackson Drive

Michael Jackson might be shunning the spotlight these days, but his family sure isn't. Making the rounds at cable networks in recent weeks is a proposed pilot for a reality series in which Jackson's siblings are featured players, sources said. Cory Rooney, a music producer who has worked with Jennifer Lopez and is producing an upcoming MTV series called "The Shop," confirmed that he is shopping the project. The show would focus on a trio of second-generation Jacksons trying to restart their careers in music. The sons of Jackson's brother Tito succeeded overseas as the members of boy band 3T during the 1990s but are trying to mount a comeback as adults. They receive help from their father as well as other aunts and uncles on the show -- including LaToya and Jermaine Jackson -- but one of the obstacles they face is the notoriety their uncle Michael encountered in various courtroom battles during the past decade. Still to be determined is whether Michael will join his siblings on the program, though footage of him interacting with Tito's children appears in the pilot. Also included on the show is the Jackson family softball team in action, complete with a cameo from San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds. This isn't the first time the Jackson family has attempted to invade reality TV; the clan shopped a different project to the networks in June exhibiting how they rallied behind Michael shortly after he was acquitted on 10 counts of child molestation and related charges (HR 6/15). (Andrew Wallenstein)

He denied he was Taryll's manager..but they are working on lots of projects together.

Rooney & 3T..go back like babies and pacifiers. Getting closer to the truth.

The Jackson family could be coming to a TV screen near you in 2006.

Three of Michael Jackson's nephews will appear in a new reality TV show in which they try to resurrect their music careers. Michael himself appears in the pilot, and siblings LaToya and Jermaine will help mentor Tito Jackson's adult children, who used to be in boyband 3T, throughout the series. In case you were wondering, 3T didn't make much of an impression in the US but had some success "overseas" in the mid 90s. Clearly not the UK then

At the moment the show is only at the pilot stage, with producer Cory Rooney shopping around for the show to be signed to a network. It's not the first time the Jacksons have flirted with reality TV: earlier this year they failed to find a home for a series showing the family pulling together after Michael's acquittal on child molestation charges.

so now we know that Taryll has a song that he's credited as a producer that didn't make the cut.

Roger Friedman was right.

And I'm so shocked that it's true about Taryll's motives being revealed....

Even though I've believed it was Mike on the song I was wanting to believe 3T were doing this for another reason.

Ha ha ha...Keep digging, the truth will eventually come out.

So far, Roger Friedman, of all people.... got it pretty darn close.

:rogerfriedman:

yup ,people who were supporting taryll said that cory and he is not working together.so finally something new is coming out.now we need to think about all aspects regarding this issue.

Isn't that what this twitter girl has been saying?

More evidence of the relationship between 3T/Cory being a long one...

What about the interview he did last year with Chris Yandeck?

http://thesportsinterview.com/mjackson.html

I believe that there's someone else who needs to be asked about this situation, but it seems they're keeping quiet

he is a proven liar....his thoughts are wait & see.??? WTF??? We know what songs made the cut...and not his & Taryll.

He did not WAIT & SEE when he put Teddy on blast or when he called the BREAKING NEWS vocals fake.

Now fans need to open their eyes...and admit they have been played big time.

Actually Taj and Taryll have both said apart from Breaking News, Monster, and Keep Your Head Up, the album is incredible and they will support the album and the songs that are without a doubt Michael (Taryll also encouraged fans to buy and support the Hold My Hand single)

In regards to the statement, I tried calling Howard's cell but couldn't reach him. (I wanted to hear from him directly). After calling his office, somebody confirmed that the statement did come from Howard. As I said before, there are many inaccuracies and omissions in that statement. For one, I was also in that meeting and that was not the outcome. Saying that, I don't want to go into further details and take away from the attention "Hold My Hand" truly deserves. You will hear my story because this is way too important for my Uncle's legacy. The truth will prevail.

Out of the 10 songs listed only 7 of them are Michael Jackson. Someone just asked me," is 'Keep Your Head Up' real or are we being lied to again? Sorry, but you won't like my answer…. Let's enjoy Hold My Hand.

I'd like to see Cory, Taryll, and Teddy just sit and talk about this whole thing so it can be resolved

Although people feel Taryll and his brothers are being petty about it, I'd have to say the same about Teddy. He called a fan a b*tch and a sl*t when she questioned him and he just tweeted this

Why does Teddy need to be involved? He's just the producer.

I'd like to see 3T and the Jacksons take proper legal action about this against Sony/Cascio's. If they don't then I've lost all my respect for them.

Didn't Teddy say that Breaking News was 100% Michael? I would say that could be considered a lie....

I would include Teddy because his take on the meeting and Taryll and Cory's take is different.

It could be a bit difficult if Sony and the Estate has their audiologists, forensic experts and people who worked for Michael on their side. It could a uphill battle for the family members and McCain (if he's involved)

Point taken.... I guess part of me still wants to believe they've been talked into this somehow...

I'm sure Teddy meant that the vocals that sound like Michael's are Michael's 100% on BN and not an impersonator.

Why should it be uphill? There's serious allegations of fraud here and also conspiracy to commit fraud if people believe third parties are being paid off, if they believe this is happening they should contact a lawyer and if they believe the tracks are faked then they should hire their own independant forensic examiner. Fans want to make it seem harder than it is just to excuse them for not doing it.

If just one independant examiner finds the tracks are fakes then that's enough, they've got a case and they can take Sony to the cleaners.

Re: Possible reason 3T & family are against the Cascio track??

Is that your site?

A man was murdered. The Jackson family uses Michael's kids on TV. And do you make a website against sony and Michael's album because of "speculation"?

Sorry, but this is pathetic.

I did not even open the link...the write up sounded a bit sell serving.

Thank you for saving me the hassle of reading another junk blog.
I owe you one.

i think whenever jackson family blame other people, they don't have any thing legal on that subject or they don't back up with facts.but when they see that project is doing good without it then they support it .i saw that with TII.
so from now on whenever they have problem ,they need to provide facts.
i am going to do what mj did ,IGNORE THEM ,KEEP MY DISTANCE.

I think back to sometime last year who remembers when AEG and the estate had a deal to take Michael's memorabilia around the world? Well some in the Jackson family tried to stop it and one of the people who testified to stop it was one of Tito's sons. I am not which one it was but he said something along the lines of he wanted to take his uncle's things on tour himself. I thought that was interesting he was basically trying to stop a business deal the estate had struck with AEG a deal that was worth six million dollars so he could do it himself. At the time I did not think much of it but now I look at it with new eyes could they be upset that someone other then family is running Michael's affairs or could be upset that others will make money and the family won't? Either way that is uncle Michael wanted it

I know that, and that's what I find so hypocritical. On the one hand they tell the fans that almost half the album is fake, but knowing this they do encourage all of us to go out and buy it. The damage has already been done.

I agree. If the family really want to get somewhere with the claims of fraud and conspiracy after all this mess, take it to court and prove it. All that's been done so far is alot of public accusations and finger pointing. And unfortunately, that's not how it works. If they have solid evidence of everything they're saying, they can somehow get the money together to hire a lawyer and possibly a forensic analyst. They could ask Janet to help them with that. Where there's a will, there's a way. These are claims that, if proven, could possibly land alot of people in jail. But only talking about it in the court of public opinion via twitter when it really should be in a court of law is just counter-productive given what they're saying.

agreed. The family had money to sue AEG, Murray and asked for up to 500 million compensation, they cannot even wait after the criminal trial finished. but now only dare to groan on twitter or tabloid to confuse fans and damage Michael's legacy. If they 100% convinced the tracks are fake, go sue Sony and Estate! I am sure they would get millions dollars compensation and take over the estate if they could prove anything as they claimed.

Easier said than done, if we got a penny for everytime one of you mentioned 'Sue' we'd all be billionnaires by now!

To question the authenticity of songs are a serious accusation - agreed but I don't think the family can just on the whim go head on with a global music record label and start legal proceedings. Given that the family have made efforts to base their claims also mean they aren't coming out with these claims because theyve got nothing better to do.

We can sit behind the comforts of out computer screens and hand out arm chair legal advice and instruct the moral high ground. I personally think we're getting too sensitive about this issue. I don't think this album iks being boycotted in any shape or form and all of us are going to buy a copy , or two or three right? Everyone's happy?

I understand that we all want a posthamus album from Michael Jackson that will really showcase his musical genius and one that woudl really do him justice. I don't think the Ts or the family want anything else either. Yes, they stand to benefit but we can't have beef about that - that's how it was planned since michael's demise.

Why would it be a whim? They're convinced something untoward happened, this isn't just some passing thought they had, they believe they have enough evidence (Cascio's claiming tapes were destoryed etc) they should fight it. Why can't they demand another impartial forensics person to investigate, someone they have a hand in selecting too?

It's funny that their efforts to base their claims have only proven the other side right so far... the only person who was on their side was Cory and it's obvious why he sides with the Jacksons now...

People are boycotting. Which I encourage, if you don't believe in it then don't buy it. Including the Jacksons.

I'm sensitive about this because I'm upset that the MJ album is being treated like this. It's been handled atrociously.

Yeah, it was Taj speaking about the 'projects' which were the film TII and the memorabilia tour:

'Even as the decision was made, one other member of the Jackson clan urged caution about any rush to cash in. Taj Jackson, 36, the late entertainer's nephew (the son of his brother Tito), says that the projects would benefit from more "family input" to ensure his uncle's legacy is protected. He adds: "I don't want this to turn into something like 'let's make as much money as we can.'"

There are more of his quotes in the article:
http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1918155,00.html

Re the AEG-memorabilia tour:
'The deal, approved Friday by Judge Mitchell Beckloff of Los Angeles Superior Court, is expected to earn Mr. Jackson’s estate up to $6 million. After hearing four hours of mostly closed-door testimony, Judge Beckloff said there was “no question in my mind this agreement is in the best interest of the estate.”
Judge Beckloff noted the lack of a reasonable alternative presented by lawyers for Katherine Jackson, Mr. Jackson’s mother, alluding to a mention of a company starting up in the Middle East that might be able to handle the exhibitions.
“The most foolhardy thing the administrators could do is connect with some start-up company from the Middle East,” Judge Beckloff said.'
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/24/arts/music/24jackson.html?_r=1

I think some members of the Jackson family spend too much time bitching about things on Twitter rather than doing anything about it.
