Possible reason 3T (Taj, Taryll & TJ) are against the Cascio track??

I'm still not convinced. Don't quite understand why some of us have unleashed wrath on the T's when they have voiced concern about the authenticity of the vocals in the tracks. This is an opinion and they have every right to say it.

Fans have every right to ignore it. I don't like Breaking News and find the vocals very unlike Michael but that's just my opinion. Perhaps its a patchy demo turned into track by alot of other vocals.

I think we are all desperately pining for Michael and his music. Hope everyone is happy and hope Michael is smiling down. His legacy deserves justice - thats all.
 
I too am not convinced we should be going off at 3T. Maybe I'm hugely missing something but I don't see it myself yet.

And I swear if I see one more person accuse someone of not being a 'true fan' I'm gonna go nuts!

TAJ is the one responsible for the interview with the Oprah. He asked for we trusted him and he betrayed us.

About the album, he and his brothers are doing a campaign against the CD. The problem: they have no evidence.

They have no proof of fraud. They just think the voice is not MJ.

They are a bunch of irresponsible people.
 
when bn was released last monday many fans questioned whether mj is singing. their reaction had nothing to with a campaign by 3t to discredit the song, this was an instant reaction by many fans on hearing the song, and most fans weren't even aware j family members had questionened some of the songs on the upcoming album.

obviously, this does not mean that taryll and other family members do not have their own agenda in this.


my take on what possibly happened:

the idea was to use mj's recent tracks on the album, although many tracks were clearly unfinished. they were looking around for material which could possibly be used, and an assortment of producers began to work on it, including tracks delivered by the cascios. i believe at this time noone was yet questioning the authenticity of the tracks, that does not mean everyone involved in the project was happy with the QUALITY of some of the submitted material.

the infighting started when tracks for the album were finally chosen. i suppose sony and probably branca wanted teddy riley tracks to be included in the album, he's one of mj's longstanding producers and should be present. unfortunetely, someone (mclain?) had given riley material delievered by the cascios whose quality was in part questionable. --i conclude this from what teddy riley has posted and the interview with him, trying to read between lines.

sony thought bn would make a great teaser, but mclain said he didnt like it and it should not be on the album - instead he wanted other material to be included which he himself had been working on... then taryll said he didn't believe it's mj's voice on the track, but branca suspected taryll was just angry cascio tracks were included... --of course, i don't know if this is what actually happened, i go by what has been posted by various parties on twitter and using my own common sense

by then i think there were too camps, the branca sony camp, and the mclain jackson family camp. branca (probably correctly) suspected that mclain and taryll had agendas and their concern over the cascio tracks was selfserving. nevertheless, he and sony execs decided to launch a thorough investigation into these tracks to establish their authenticity. mj's former producers were questionend, audio experts were brought in, in the end it came out that mj's voice was on the tracks.
obviously, the problem with this investigation is that its only point was to establish mj's is voice on the tracks, it said nothing of the quality of the tracks. it should protect sony against possible future lawsuits, that was its goal.

i suspect over all the infighting going on in reagrds to the cascio tracks the bigger picture got lost: sony was so sure the whole controvery had just been triggered out of spite by angry parties involved in the project, they didn't realize the material was indeed low quality and the public would reject it bc mj's voice is not clearly recognizable in bn.

it's an awkward situation and i wished sony had pulled bn and instead included some track mclain is happy with. but i guess by now it's about losing face and i suppose sony has probably already paid the cascios and they dont want to lose investment.


on the positive side: i'm glad and relieved kyhu is of much better quality, at least in terms of vocals. it's clearly mj and i love his voice in this song......
 
I think we'll just have to agree we have different views on this. I do hope all this will be laid to rest soon and we all end up happy bunnies.

It's not an opinion, what they're making are allegations of fraud.

They need to back it up.

Where did you get THAT from? Taj wasn't the responsible for the interview. Mrs. Jackson's people (Howard Mann and Marc Shaffell) are the ones responsible for it. Taj didn't even know the kids were being interviewed

I don't think this is going off at 3T, attacking them or hating them. I actually thought and still think that they are decent human beings.

My issue is how they handled this situation. Twitter rants is not the appropriate way considering the seriousness of their claims. They could have used their legal options. Furthermore we were only given personal opinions with no proof and even with no promise of existence of proof.

We can not forget that this 'situation' is not theirs. The album is not theirs. The songs are not theirs. The money is not theirs. The legacy is not theirs. If they had evidence of fraud, things would be different. But all they have are opinions. They had no right to act like three irresponsible spoiled brats.

Meanwhile, they have not said a word about the exploitation of their uncle's kids on Oprah.

I agree. I don't hate 3T, but I used to think that they seemed like very level-headed, responsible guys. They probably still are in most aspects of their lives. But, their actions on this issue don't seem level-headed and responsible. At this point, their tweets seem kind of attention-seeking to me.

noooo, YOU ARE CHANGING THE TIME LINE HERE !!! Joe talked about these allegations before the release of BN no one know nothing about this song ....

in fact it is completly the opposite, Sony released the song after the accusations from Joe, and the 3T used this story to distract the fans attention from Oprah's interview with the kids !

Teddy said it better , the family's problem is not about the songs themselves they are against the Cascios and they want more money...

I agree with Teddy because he is not about money !


and becuase the Jacksons did the same thing about the movie TII and about the Will, and they will do it all the time with every new project...

Here's something that Cory Rooney wrote on Facebook

My thoughts are to wait and see what song ultimately make the cut. I did write a song called "She was loving me" and I find it funny that the title was released. The only reason it was never finished was because I spent more of my time maki...ng sure the relationship with Rodney jerkins and MJ worked out because I felt at the time he was the best producer to give MJ a hit. I also gave him a record by Robin Thick and Walter A called "fall again" He did complete his vocals on my song as well as did the final comp himself, I just never finalized the track enough to make the cut. I had been approached by sony a few months back about the song and was asked to finish and submit it and at that point I reached out to Taryll who I have been collaborating with on other up and coming projects to help me rebuild the track. Taryll is an amazing producer and writer and I felt it would be a great opportunity for him to work for his uncle. Before Michael's passing, Taryll had written a song for MJ and they were going back and forth with ideas, preparing to record the song for his next project. I've read Bullshit about Taryll being jealous that he never worked with his uncle, HE WAS A KID!!!! who spent most of his life with his uncle while developing his own kraft. Finally once he's ready as a producer such a tragedy strikes! Or the stupid bastard that made the statement about him being jealous, I want you to know that Michael loved him and his brothers very very much!! And would have done anything for them so stop trying to put shit in the game!!!!! The song has been reworked by taryll and myself and it's amazing!! I just never mentioned it because I don't ever want people to think I am trying to promote myself or my music, my work speaks for itself:0) and last but not least, if I feel that there is still funny business going on, I wouldn't want my record to be a part of it. I wrote that record 13 years ago and sony had no knowledge that it even existed until I let them know so maybe there are other producers holding on to some other priceless gems:0)

And I'm so shocked that it's true about Taryll's motives being revealed....

Even though I've believed it was Mike on the song I was wanting to believe 3T were doing this for another reason.

While he may have worked on a song for "Michael", how would someone feel if they heard songs on his late uncle's album......and the songs either don't sound like him or aren't your uncle at all? Wouldn't you angry about it?

The song has been reworked by taryll and myself and it's amazing!!

They make it sound like it was already worked on, I would guess vocals too. I doubt they'd be offering to put it on an album if it didn't have anything from Michael recorded on it.

if you read it carefully he's mentioning 3 songs - 1 that he wrote (She was loving me) , 1 from Robin Thick (fall again) and 1 that Taryll planned to do with Michael (unnamed - not recorded).

He says that Sony asked him to finish his song (She was loving me) that Michael did vocals and he asked Taryll to rework the song with him.

so basically there's a Corey Rooney song (She was loving me) with finished Michael's vocals that Corey and Taryll reworked and produced.

that's how I understood it.

yup ,people who were supporting taryll said that cory and he is not working together.so finally something new is coming out.now we need to think about all aspects regarding this issue.
