I don't believe the estate and Sony were stupid enough to pay ridiculous amount money to buy the fake songs!!!!!!!! If I had any doubt about the casico's songs before, it's all gone after thinking this way. and after seeing the Oprah interview, the poor condition of the home studio :bugeyed, I am also convinced Michael was just putting his ideas and try something different there. There is no way Michael would release the rough demo or satisfy his work in such condition. Remember Michael love to record hundreds of songs but only chose a few songs. Consider Michael never rework them in the proper studio later, I think those songs were never meant to see the light:(. But Michael's gone, this is just what we had.

Not entirely true, this is far from all we have..well..they have. They had plenty to put on that cd, but they were so ridiculously determined to put these three tracks on it. They could have put Xscape , 12 o clock and Blue Gangsta on it...but 12 o clock actually got scrapped....just...wow.

My opinion hasn't changed about Breaking news, Keep your head up and Monster : theses songs are 100% fake.

I think the Cascio's were important in Michael's life and also in his music life from the last years.
The tracks are overprocessed and what else but for me they are still acceptable to be on this album.
I hope the next album with the duets won't be bringing controversy, but you never know. Anyway I don't want to dramatize it no longer.
But I do hope that someone takes it to court for more proof.
I am as good as certain that the three songs are still enough Michael's, but that only satisfies myself, so I really want more legal and scientifical proof for everybody has a right to stop doubting and know the truth, whatever it is.

After hearing the full album versions of the songs, have your views on the songs changed?

No, unfortunately. The fact "Best of Joy" is proceeds "Breaking News," makes BN sound even worse than when played alone as it has been the past month.

No. And I don't hear any difference between the album and the stream of BN.

Not Mike.. I surely want it to be, but it isn't...

Ah but those extremely strong and Michaelicious tracks have to be saved for future projects.

I never had any doubt in the first place.

After listening to this man's voice for 25 years with a finely tuned ear, I believe it to be him completely, on all tracks, always did.

I couldnt hear michael and i cant now - to me it just isnt michael it isnt his voice...even in the songs eg KYHU where i can hear a bit of mj ad libbing at the end the contrast is obvious...i also thought teddy looked V guilty on oprah looking away and down and stumbling on the word authenticity...but hey that was just a gut instinct like the first time i heard a few seconds of each cascio track im baffled why i cant hear him like n others can...i cant say im right i have no proof maybe im wrong because wel never know...but i cant hear his voice just like i dont see his face when i look at a picture of margaret thatcher :)

There should be a poll

After hearing the album versions have your opinion changed?

1. Yes - now I am certain it is MJ

2. MJ was on the songs - but not him 100 %

3. No - I still don't hear MJ in the songs.

I'll set one up.

^^Oh thanks Sophie. A member PMed me about this, but i have not had the chance to do it since i am at work. They also asked for us to put that if a member is still undecided, please do not vote. Or maybe we can just have an undecided button.

Thanks Sophie!!

Hi People!

today i got the chance to receive the MICHAEL Album two days before official release!

I just want to post some pictures of the Inlay cover...watch especially the credits of the songs and the sentence which is written in golden letters on the back of the cd!!!!

...but that thing that made me also wonder is the fact that there is no vocal singing credit in some of the songs . God thanks it is on Another day for example. did they simply forget to mention or to writen down.... or what is the reason here???!!! No More comments from my side to come....

Like I've always maintained, if it was only one track that sounded like this, it'd be easier to understand. But three songs, plus a leak, all from the same source.... the ability to understand diminishes. Especially when you hear a song like Best Of Joy and put it next to Keep Your Head Up.

I'm still open to any and all info about these tracks though.

Same here. :agree:

Listen to to 00:31 of this song. Try telling me that isnt the same vibratto we have been hearing on Keep Your Head Up.

Before you all start saying it, no I wont stop with the Jason Malachi stuff no matter how much you keep saying it. Its too similar to ignore.

Yep, i honestly believe it's JM too. When i listen to Monster and i listen to Let me let go, i hear one artist..well..artist...one wannabe.

I checked out another forum and there's also a thread about Monster, and all of them are saying that it's not MJ, without any doubt. Those ain't hardcore MJ fans like us, just people in general.

Honestly, i've played the songs for people who dont even know about all of the rumours and stuff and they have said it doesnt sound like him.

A few people said he simply just sounds different, while the rest just said said it doesnt sound like him.

Yeah exactly, at the end of the day..it's just a damn sad situation, a fiasco. They should have never put these shit songs on it, and we wouldn't have had this fiasco now, sigh. I am trying to put my finger on things though, the Cascio family seems very ok and genuine but these questionable tracks ARE coming from them..damnit.

Do people think the ad libbing at the end of Monster is fake? I think the lead sounds weird but the ad libbing is Michael! Come on.

I can't take the vote because I always believed these tracks were Michael anyway, but it was interesting to read all your answers :)

Yeah its pretty confusing. I have allways like Teddy Riley, but at the same time I have allways liked 3T. They are saying two different things.

But I have to go by what my ears are telling, which is that it isnt Michael i'm listening to. I think Keep Your Head Up is the worst one in all honesty. I know thats not a popular opinion, people seem to think its the most convincing one. I'm the opposite though, I think its the least convincing, the vocals sound all out of tune.....it sounds terrible. The way the word 'resteraunt' is pronounced for example. Its terrible.

I actually like Monster and Breaking News though, fairly catchy tunes. I would like them if I thought Michael was on then. He would of made them great!

I knew it :).
You're right, it sounds very similar.
But.
Few days ago I saw in one of the threads a Youtube clip that showed in graphical form things what digitally can be done around voice and vibrato. I were like "wow!". It was amazing!

The vibrato in Keep Your Head Up doesn't disturb me at all, it fits the track. The similarity you hear with Malachi's vibrato is because of the rather big similarity in voice-using here + prolly similar processing.
When somebody can find that clip, post it here please ;-).

Keep Your Head Up I find to be the best of the bunch. At any rate, I'm not going to defend any of the three songs because I find them quite terrible due to the vocals.

People say they're not "complete", but someone quite clearly sung the leads all the way through. Then they say "Well, he wasn't going all out", but someone on Monster clearly IS pretty much singing it with meaning. Then they say the vocals are "over produced". Well, so are the vocals on Hollywood Tonight, but there is little debate about its authenticity.

It's a never-ending circle of debate. But no, my opinion has not changed. They didn't sound like him to me when they leaked, and I didn't like the pasted-on ad-libs. Now the album is streaming/leaked, and I still don't think the songs sound like him, and I still don't like the use of the pasted ad-libs.

Lol Annie, ;-) yes! I guess they pasted Malachi's vibrato on Michael's vocals lol, just for fun :))))

Funny how the difference in overall vocal tone in the two songs, How I Do and KYHU, is being ignored over a similarity in vibrato.

Thats probably because they are two different songs and are bound to be sung in a different tone. So things like this areall you can look for.

Let Me Let Go and Monster is the best comparison anyway.
