Re: Monster - The Great Debate

He has had his "little fame" for years. So many people always thought it was Michael on his older songs, and even thought Jason was Michael. I personally, don't think this has nothing to do with Jason wanting his fame.

Edit: And WTF? The video I posted deleted after I posted it here - it had been online for days.

 :wtf: Now they are now taking down comparison videos?

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

"Critical"...o_O another Jason song! SMH It is a nice song as well! But, no MJ!

Best way to describe Jason songs are POWERLESS they go nowhere and they stay FLAT throughout!

EXACTLY.
They are heartless, powerless, flat, whereas Michael Jackson's song music (every single track) was deep and full of emotions.
Still, to this day, I keep on discovering new levels, even on the oldest tracks.
Even on Billie Jean.

Instead... with any track from Jason, one listening it's enough to discover everything on that song. It's throw-away-music. One-play-music. Play-once-and-delete-music.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Yeah, they started that a few weeks ago. "Jab Me Music" takes most of them down, while "Jason Malachi" has taken down many too.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

there is a verry good reason that people who believe the tracks are real (like me) don't come in these threads anymore ....

in the beginning you could just talk about the song!

All this paranoia, it's getting irritating

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

IMO, the previously leaked version of Monster (without 50 cent) sounds a lot more like Michael - do you guys have it?

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Could we move on from discussing Jason Malachi's songs please, its off topic Thanks everyone.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

I'd say, depending on your opinion, it's very much on topic, no?

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Yeah, for a lot of us it's on topic.....we genuinely believe its Malachi on this song and others.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Depends on how related the Jason Malachi discussion is to the topic of "Monster". And seeing as the discussion has gone into talk about JM's real twitter, JM's motives, and the removal of JM comparison videos on youtube, one could say that the discussion has strayed a little bit off-topic.

Pretty much this. If you believe its him then fine of course debate but going into a discussion of Jason Malachi's back catalogue, Twitter page, YouTube videos etc is not on topic as this thread pertains to Monster. I'm just asking that this remains about Monster, not the all purpose Jason Malachi discussion page which I will remind everyone there is no evidence to suggest it is. If you believe it then fine but some of the posts here are being posted as fact rather than opinion.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

the vibrato is annoying on the songs, not natural at all, which is the first sign something is not right. Not completely sure about these tracks. Keep ur head up and breaking news I cant even listen to.

i agree the vibrato is annoying, but Mj does it just as much, if not more on "one more chance". so that cant really be used as evidence.

Really? The fact that you cat tell the difference between the two vibratos is frightening.

I have one question for the believers.... We've heard the casico tracks and we've heard the Malachi tracks......being that the voices on all of the songs match up, what separates MJs voice is distinctive? To me those songs do not sound like the real mj... If you think the casico tracks ate Michael your basically saying the Malachi songs are Michael too, it's the same exact voice.

First of all, No.

Secondly, people hear what they hear, and what they feel, people can pick out differences on their own, and until this is settled legally, everything is subjective. I for one, DO NOT hear Malachi in Breaking News, KYHU, and Stay/Carry On. No matter how much you and other non-believers would like to shove your opinion in my face, I don't hear him there. I do however hear similarities in songs like Monster, and All I Need, similarities being the vibrato, and a certain roughness in Michael's voice which is lacking. I know, because I've experienced it and I'm not going by hearsay and YT videos, I know what melodyne can do to a voice, I know what it's capable of and the certain characteristics of a voice which can be altered using the program. So it's easy for me to accept what was said regarding the production of these songs.

As the other songs I've mentioned, there is a broad difference in vocals on Breaking News and any Malachi song of similar nature. People say, "because they pitched it up", I doubt it. The acapella had to be altered in order for it to sound like Malachi. Keep Your Head Up, is blatantly not Malachi, that's all I'll say regarding that song. Stay/Carry On, sounds like a matured Michael, and once again sounds nothing like Malachi, if it isn't Michael Jackson, it ain't Malachi either, IMO.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

The melodyne argument is a hard one for me to buy, especially when its not employed as an excuse for one song, but three (probably five or more if you count any future releases from these sessions), and when there is a strong use of melodyne put to use at the end of The Way You Love Me on the very same album with little to no ill effects on the voice.

The casico tracks sound more like Malachi than they do from ANYTHING in Michaels opus of music, anyone thinking otherwise doesn't have a close relationship with Muchaels voice. Michael, no matter what, always sounded like Michael.....until the "Michael" album...

Here's the thing... I think fans have gotten along relatively well in regards to mj's talent.....but when you disagree on the one thing that draws us together, it's taken offensive...I cannot align myself with another fan that thinks these are MJs vocals, because I don't feel those people know mj's voice and they'll just accept it..... I'll go out on a limb to say that even if it IS Michael on those songs, they bastardized his voice to the extent of sounding like a third rate knock off... Then it's no longer mj's voice. They cam keep their shitty melodyne.

You don't go from the vocal brilliance ofjs other songs to the underdeveloped, souless, passionless Mesa that they are trying to pass off as Michael and I'm offended. Keep on thinking it's Michael if thats what you want. I know better.

And here's another lil tidbit for ya. I have friends into industry and Sony is activly contacting Michael sound alikes and telling them they can't talk about it....hmmmm I wonder why

Dear jaXXXon - I agree with you regarding the above. Moreover, Teddy also mentioned that the music for the lyrics was added after MJ's death and that he took bits and pieces from different tracks to finalize the songs. Given all of this, how in the world can these songs be considered genuine Michael Jackson songs (putting aside the whole impersonator issue)?

Of course, this is just my opinion...

Until information became official and proven, otherwise just hearsay and speculation.
I will believe you if you can prove it.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

If they're doing it in writing, it would be very interesting if someone could get a copy.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

error of topic sorry

answer on the poll of the poll topic

"If MJ is not singing in the cascio Tracks what did he do during 4 months in their house ?

watching TV ? Playing Poker ? Drinking Beers ?

living like the average Joe even if, in the same house, there was a semi-pro studio ????

are we sure that he stayed 4 months ?

It the first thing to verify imo...

can you believe that MJ never sung in this Studio during 4 long Months ?"

As melodyne is said to be one of the most used tools in the industry, it boggels my mind that used on Michael's vocals, he is the only artist that does NOT sound like himself..

Damn...

The only thing offensive is you claiming those who feel it's Michael on the songs don't have a close relationship with Michael and his music. Get out of here with that mess. IMO, that's why this situation is so heated, because of statements like that coming from people like you.

As for the bolded part, like others have said, until you can prove this, you're as reliable as Sony and The Estates press release.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

I disagree. As a long long time fan yes I'm offended that someone would think that that's michaels voice, doesn't even sound like his tone.

.....

I believe I said his VOICE.... not him or his music

They can't talk about what? I thought, according to fans, it was Malachi singing. Now are you claiming it's actually multiple "sound-alikes"? Jeez, how many "MJ sound-alikes" are out there?? And Sony is paying all these people, just to go along with this conspiracy? :mello:

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

I agree with Jaxxxon in as far as I can't understand how anyone can hear that voice and think it's him. That's me though.

I also can't understand the constant 'the reason he sounds different is.....' arguments. That statement in and of itself means you know it doesn't sound like him.

And yeah .. why is it that of 45years worth of music it's only those 3 songs he doesn't sound like himself. Not cos of the recording equipment etc . .as we know .. MJ singing down the phoneline sounds like MJ. So a good quality Mic he should def sound like himself.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Listen, I'd love to believe it was Michael, I really do....but my well trained ears to Mj's voice won't allow me to, nothing says authentic "Michael" about that voice, there's no substance there. Sometimes I'll try to pretend it's Michael just to really get into it but it never gets past knock off level.....out of all of the imposter vocal tracks I think Monster would be my fav, I like 50's rap.....I just know that if the real mj sang it, it would reach an even stronger level....like Tabloid Junkie does

Yeah, I know what you mean. I really like 50's rap also and think the song could have been some much better if the vocals were on point. Even if the song turns out to be a big hit if released as a single, I will always feel strange about those vocals...

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

Absolutely.

Tie that in with the people who sold these songs registering them two days after he died and you have a REAL problem.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate

There is NO "broad" difference between any of the casico tracks vocally. It's all the same tone and it's DEFINATELY not mature Michael. It's mature someone else but it's an insult to michaels vocal prowess to say that those vocals match Michael in his prime or beyOnd. I'm really sorry for the people that can't spot the difference
