'stay" the great debate (entire song)

One thing I do wonder though, is why we dont see the kind of reaction out of people who believe it is Michael when we hear one of these Cascio tracks, that we see out of everyone when a new song comes out which is undoubtedly Michael.

Like when '12 O'Clock' came out, everyone went mad praising it and saying how incredible it was, as this was undoubtedly MJ. Even with the 'Hollywood Tonight' clip on Ellen to a certain extent.

Why do we not see this kind of reaction out of people when a new song like 'Stay' comes out? All I see is, 'I Think this is Michael 100%'. I dont see much off 'Oh wow! This is a great song and MJ's vocals are incredible!'

Why is that? I'm genuinely curious as to why this is and would like an answer. I even see some people who are strong believers in the Cascio tracks going mad and praising some of the songs that have leaked in the past few months that are undoubtedly MJ, but I dont see the same reaction from them for the Cascio tracks.

I dont think this is a great song (compared to KYHU and Monster), that's why did not make the album.

Yes, I know. I really hate it when I feel like this about a song that for many is pure MJ :( I hate this feeling, but I can't pretend I feel any different.
Thanks for understanding.
I hope your questions are answered and that this debate gets settled soon!

And hopefully the divide between these fans will be over. And no talking down on those who disbelieved, if it really is MJ, or vice versa, if some of us have been deceived.

In my opinion, I feel Michael Jackson all over this song. I feel like it could have been left off because it has great potential and could definitely hold it's place on another release in a couple of years.

Something I notice is how the vocals in places sound very raw, and I like that. This song is a gem to me.

Are you very sure uys that it is a Cacsio song ???
did anyone tweet Angel and asked him or it is just speculations ?

That's clearly MJ, I don't know what else to say.

In all situations like this, sometimes it seems clear to people and to others it doesn't. I have always been a doubter in these tracks, but I just hear Michael all throughout this one. Never heard Malachi or any imposter ever sing like that.

I really wonder what some would've said if this song was leaked Before the whole "its not Michael" "story" started on Twitter. I'm *guessing* that The same ppl. that are sayin' it aint Mike, would've said "omg, what a beautiful song..." Personally I'm not even gonna get into the argument of "its not Michael/It is Michael" cuz I, as most of you, have had enough of it in the other threads...

This is just me thinking...:)

Sounds like Asian Pop... LOL

Give Me A Song's Time by Jay Chou

It also reminds me of Jason's Bigger Man, and Katy Perry's Hot n Cold (the chorus is "Do you really wanna stay" vs. Hot n Cold "You don't really wanna stay") LOL

At 1:23 the guy's voice cracks... It does sound very different from other Cascio tracks but it does have that vibrato; JM's Critical sounds a bit different from his other songs a bit, but the falsetto is similar to KYHU. I think this is a Cascio track and Tricky Stewart produced it. In mid-November he talked about how he was working on Stay and KYHU. Fans were like "is Stay a Cascio" and then people answered "yes Stay is Cascio." This song leaked as Carry On but it is Stay.

Just my opinion guys.

100% not MJ.
Proof? Who told you?

How can you say it's 100% not him?
There's no possible way in the world that it could be him?

Posts like yours are irritating, to me, because I really don't think you know what you're talking about, since you probably weren't there in the studio with them. Maybe you have some evidence we haven't seen? Kind of shady post.

It seems like some of these doubters are looking for just any weird sound and saying 'nope, not him!!!' If his voice shakes or cracks at all, in a demo, they instantly doubt.

When I listen to the track, I think Michael was working on some amazing material up to his passing, and I wish that it could be admired and respected properly.

Of course, on the internet, and especially a chat/forum, this will never happen, but I have high hopes for this place that the Michael Jackson fans can search for the truth until it is found, and unite in peace for Michael's legacy.

This might be one of my last post on this subject because I have grown tired of this debate that has been going nowhere. I have been reading all of your posts since this all started and it's been very exhausting, hoping I can get some answers, which I really haven't.

Darkness thrives on this chaos we are in. We need to be contributing actual information, not just pathetic bickering back and forth, "100% Michael!" "100% not Michael!"

I'm hoping some really definitive bit of evidence comes out, or a highly reliable source sheds more light, but for now I think it's Michael Jackson singing on Breaking News, Monster, Keep Your Head Up, Stay, and All I Need.

^^ if the 'believers' can say it's 100% MJ, it's only fair that the 'doubters' can say '100% not MJ".....

^ I know, I just said I 'feel Michael' all over the track. I'm not saying anyone's wrong who doesn't feel it, I just think that's too bad.

I only quoted the person who said 'clearly Michael Jackson' because I was glad someone else hears him and I'm not going crazy. :D

I agree with you!

Maybe there have been two Michael's all along. Half the fans have been listening to one, and the other half have been listening to the other. :/

^ Well, my favorite album is Dangerous, what does that say? Am I listening to the first or the second? Probably the second?! :|

Possibly there's a third. I can picture three Michael Jackson's in studio all dancing and singing together then laughing and hugging when it's all over like, 'Good day in the studio, guys!' :p

But then there'd most likely be two that are still alive and could continue his legacy. That would be good if he had cloned himself a few times.

Alrighty! We all hear different things, obviously :)

Tricky, the producer confirmed he worked on "Stay" with KYHU.

the lyrics are trashier than a backstreet boys demo outtake from their unreleased album " total crap"

What is disgusting, your opinion or the song? :D

Oh, haha. Very good :) My opinion of it is a disgusted one :)

IN MY OPINION it's another advance on the raping of Michael Jackson's legacy. And I'm absolutely disgusted by it.

Beautiful song.
Even though I won't debate anything here since no one can convince each other in any way without proper evidence, I would like to show an example of what is happening because of this whole "Not Michael" thing they started.

First of all, lots of people don't even believe songs like Hollywood Tonight or even Hold My hand.
But the most interesting was that I saw many people saying they don't believe 2000 watts and other songs.

I don't know who started this whole thing (I forgot), but I think it was The Estate.
I'm seriously pissed at them for ruining a great experience of many people because if they never said anything like that, people could enjoy the tracks/material Michael was working on before he died.

Like Romi said and I'm 100% convinced with that,
If they never said some of the tracks were supposedly fake no one would've started doubting anything.
I know there are impersonators but it's absolutely crazy that every track is considered not 'Michael' now.

Just my opinion, do with it what you want.

I think it's safe to say that most of us, believers and doubters alike, ignored the Jackson's claims that the songs were fake...I know I did...I doubt the songs because of what I hear. Simple as.
