At the end of the show, I hope she thanked her drug addict dead brother for bringing her back into "relevancy".

and how did MJ bring her back to "relevancy" her last number one before he died was the year before, I suppose she should thank MJ for her 35 number ones too ?? I said it once this thread is for the tour, you have an agenda WE GET IT go post in a thread about it not this one

Okaaaaaay so what? That happened with Michael and the TII show as well. A guy from mjjc was going 18 times, another fan from here were going like 13 times... I know a friend who had tickets to 3 shows... there were several fans from mjjc that was gonna go more than 10 times to see Michael..

Which one was it again? ..I don't remember any of the Discipline singles hitting Billboard's #1 or since the Superbowl for that matter. But you might know better than I.

OT: Just watched a tribute Usher did to MJ in London last night..I wouldn't expect such a thing from any Jackson. Least of all Miss Jackson

Calling janet out on her last #1? When was the last time Michael released something or even had a number 1? it's not fair to judge them on that, they're both greater than that, both have done so much in their careers. I am not comparing what they achieved but they've both done alot and are respected artist. As an MJ fan you sould know that Janet Like Michael had periods of being snubbed and that the media/industry can treat you unfairly. Even Michael said he felt the Superbowl thing was blown out of proportin because Janet is a Jackson.

She incorperated Michael into the show with Scream and dedicated Together again to him with photos displaying. Also jermaine didn't a tribute and latoya did too, if you didn't liek them that's different but his siblings have done tributes.

Hmmm, I haven't heard Janet say even one GOOD thing about Michael since he passed; therefore, this little "tribute" to him doesn't mean anything to me and seems to be something to appease MJ fans. I, for one, am not falling for it. She can't make up for the things that she has said since Michael's passing. Where was this "dedication" when she threw him under the bus and basically called him an "addict"? Nope, her little tributes may fool some, for me they mean nothing. Too late.
 
I am very surprised she dedicated 'Together Again' to MJ, considering when the song first came out it was a song for all of her friends that had died of AIDS or something. I do remember her saying that.

You didn't seriously think even when MJ was alive that if he passed that song would have s whole new meaning for Janet, just because she has pics of MJ in the back doesn't mean the song is no longer about her friends she has lost.

Yeah, they probably were MJ fan's who isn't? that doesn't mean that that's why they are there, or they wouldn't be singing along to every song cause they wouldn't know them.

Thanks for the clips. I was especially curious about 'Scream' ofcourse. I am a bit taken aback by the staging and lighting. It does look scaled back quite a bit. And conservative at the same time. I dunno, I don't need an overkill of effects, but this looks like a production of 15-20 years ago of a B-list star. Perhaps it's a matter of the budget and space? I do remember an immense difference in size of her 'Janet' tour in the US and in Europe. What do you guys think?

We should not compare Janet with Michael. It's so obvious that he has more fans than Janet. I really doubt that Janet has thousands of fans around the world like Michael. :fear: Well, anyway, I wish her luck with this tour.

yeah she writes songs (including Together Again), Jimmy and Terry take credit too though, they do credit her for writing most of her songs though.

Michael doesn't have thousands he has MILLIONS, but Janet does have a lot of fans she just needs to reconnect with them, outside of the US and Japan the world hasn't need Janet tour for nearly 15 years, but that's what I think this tours for.
