2 Bad is probably the weakest track of History imo...

Yes, absolutely. Of course its different, music had changed, his life had changed, and the album reflects all that. You cant expect him to sound the same as in OTW or Bad. You feel the emotion, the anger, and the pain. But IMO, its as good as any of the previous ones.

I am sorry, but no. Invincible seems somehow unfocused to me, compared to previous albums.

do you think the new album will be better than Invincible ?

Its a great album.every album speak for itself,we just cant choose one over the other.invincible is 1 of his greatest works but so underrated.and yes al the albums of 2day dont have a song as gud as invincible album.it need more promotion nd music videos I think.anything that mj put his hands on is the best.
Break of dawn
The lost children heaven can wait
Heartbreaker
Cry
Butterflies
My fav on the album

I very much agree with you.
Each album is special in it's own way.

I just listened "heartbreaker" today very loud in my car....

I was suprised how Good it really is...

I love the INVINCIBLE album,Butterflies, unbreakable, whatever happens, heaven can wait.. amazing songs!

It's a notch below the rest imo, but still a very nice album.

i couldn't disagree more with you...because we could say the same remarks with other mj's albums :

i don't see in History a song as passionate as "what ever happens"...do you ?

i don't see in Dangerous a song as beautifull as "speechless"...do you ?

Uptempos like Unbreakable or Threatened are as good and innovative as Scream, Jam or Smooth Criminal (imo...)

2000 watts is more innovative than facebook and Apple united.

Invincible stands on its own....

Great points.

I love Dangerous - but where it falls down a little for me is the lack of a love song/ballad on there. It's the same to a lesser extent with HIStory (HIStory was written at a different time in Michael's life which we all know)

OTW - Rock With You/She's Out Of My Life/It's the Falling In Love
Thriller - Lady in My Life/Baby Be Mine/Girl Is Mine
Bad - Liberian Girl/I Just Can't Stop Loving You
Dangerous - um... Remember The Time?
HIStory - um... :/
Invincible - Break Of Dawn/Heaven Can Wait/Butterflies/Speechless/YAML/DWA/Whatever Happens

Case in point.

Each Michael album has a special meaning to me and as I'm a HUGE fan of love songs I really enjoy Invincible. It was actually the first Michael studio-album I bought back in 2002 so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Where it somewhat lacks is no true upbeat traditional MJ pop hits (except YRMW). What the album really needed was a Blue Gangsta/ We've Had Enough/Shout/Xscape style track to perhaps take the place of Invincible and Privacy - which I feel are the weakest tracks.

Invincible ultimately was Michael returning to his RnB/Soul roots and delivering some truly beautiful, emotive music. Also we see him incorporating some of the modern (for the time) sound emerging in the early 00's. Invincible truly is unique and is an album filled to the brim with love. I for one am so happy that Michael's last album was written with L.O.V.E rather than say HIStory (even though I love that album to death) which was written at a horrible time in his life. Michael seems more at peace with Vince, and you can see how much having kid's influenced his music at the time :)

Songs on Invincible that are as good as any other on any of his other albums..

-Unbreakable
-Break Of Dawn
-HCW
-YRMW
-Butterflies
-Speechless
-TLC
-Whatever Happens
-Threatened

My 2c.

The others are great (some are less great) but nonetheless Invincible is a masterpiece and criminally underrated.

More songs than any of his other albums (if you count only the new songs on HIStory), and I love 'em all. So yes, it is (at least) as goos as his previous ones IMO.

Invincible is my most played MJ album so yes to me it's definitely as good as any of his others. In fact out of my iTunes top 20 most played Michael songs 8 of them are from Invincible (DWA, Cry, 2,000 Watts, Threatened, Privacy, Speechless, Whatever Happens, YAML).

When I first started listening to Michael I obviously just started with "the hits" (Billie Jean, Bad, Black or White ect) and after I'd exhausted them to the point even my mum & dad knew them all word for word 'cos I was playing them that often (lol) I bought Invincible and felt it was such a unique album; it was different to the songs I knew of his but somehow still definitive Mike.

I feel like I've really grown up with Invincible and changes in my life have been reflected in which songs I've called my favorite since first listening to it at 15.
Privacy was my favorite at the beginning 'cos it was 03 when I bought the album just as all the fall out from the Bashir interview was going on and Mike was been hounded in the papers.
It was shorty after that that I had my first girlfriend so songs like Speechless & You are my life quickly became my favorites then as that relationship ended I gravitated towards songs like Whatever Happens and Don't Walk Away (which has been my favourite song ever since).

Awesome album, for me on a personal level it doesn't get any better :)

It just as good or better to many fans
I love Speechless, Unbreakable, Dont walk away, Break of Dawn, Butterflies ...

The MJfam is starting a campaign to make INVINCIBLE #ONE for the 10th Anniversary which is OCT 30
I hope MANY fans will help promote and support it. Something positive for Fans & Michael during these troubling times.

WHAT CAN I DO ?

I had a change of heart and I absolutely LOVE this album. I just wish tracks 11-13 didn't exist (actually i'd just take out Privacy and just change the order of the songs).

Brilliant album, just brilliant. I suggest everyone to listen to this album again and appreciate every sound. wonderful stuff

Omg... Invincible is an amazing album. It has melodies, grooves, beats that we've never heard before prior to 2001. Michael was a very modern and Michaelish Album. My 2 fev. albums are Off the wall and Invincible. It's just amazing. in the early 2000's Michael said ppl. will start to appreciate Invincible in the future years. And he was right. His album was #1album of the decade! :D

To be honest,in my opinion it's not as good as previous albums...(not including Blood on the dance floor :))

I don't think it's as awesome as Thriller, Bad, or Dangerous. but it is awesome enough to add to his legacy. Unbreakable, Invincible, Heartbreaker, Privacy, 2000 Watts, are all some of my favorite songs by him. You Rock My world and Threatened are descent. I think the rest of the album is kind of mediocre.
