Question to staff: How come people get banned from the Controversy section for disrupting threads but not from 2300 Jackson Street? Because we all know the few who disrupt every thread in this section.
 
^Agreed! I can't be bothered to participate in these threads any longer because they all end up the same way. Such a shame. And it's just plain strange to me that the thread disrupters seem to think they do Michael a favour by continuously attacking and insulting his family. I hope you know that this is never right and certainly not your place to do. Michael always spoke with respect about his family - that should tell you something.

I happen to like Rebbie's voice, and her Yours Faithfully album I played non-stop when it was just released. Really mellow and warm, love it.

This post is as disruptive....what about getting back on topic?

You posted a picture and I commented on it....Unless ADHD is running rampant, we are able to have a discussion covering more than one related subject at a time.

But I digress...

Back on topic: Thank you for that Bad Era picture..Seeing MJ during that time is always a treat. ***smirk**

You were not commenting on the photo, you were saying about how Rebbie is a backstabber. You take whatever chance you get to disrupt every Jfam thread.
 
Agreed. We all know how you feel about some family members. What Rebbie did with Stacey Brown or what she said about MJ or what ever took place is not relevant to a thread where she is singing RWY. THAT is the topic at hand and that is what will be allowed to be discussed here. Any more comments about what Rebbie has done or who she has a relationship with will be deemed off topic and deleted. Repeated deletes will end in disciplinary action being taken.

We try to accommodate as many as possible, but this off topic attack of everything the family does in Every thread is ridiculous and needs to stop. And, I don't care if you don't like me for it. That is the way it is. Speak to senior staff if you have complaints.

I appreciate knowing what the family is doing. I appreciate knowing their true nature, but this is too much.

Dear members,

The state of the 2300 Jackson Street forum has become of concern to many members and MJJC staff alike. The tone has become so bad in here that we have been left with no choice but to take drastic and swift action.

We are implementing a new 3 strike system, which after 3 strikes you will have your viewing and posting privileges in this section revoked until further notice.

Strikes will be given for:

•Disrespecting Michael as a way to 'big up' or defend other family members. This happens, whether subtly, or quite overtly and it will NOT be tolerated. This is a MICHAEL JACKSON board, and he will remain the number 1 priority here. There are other places on the web where you can do this, but not here please.
•Over the top name calling of Jackson family members. We understand there are a lot of issues with the Jackson family, concerning their actions. We are not saying you cannot criticise and question this, but please do it in a way that doesn't resort to excessive and nasty name calling. In other words, tone it down.
•Constant derailing of threads about certain family members. If a thread is about say, Janet on a magazine cover, please keep it to that topic. There is no need to take that thread back to what Janet said/did who knows when. If we don't enforce this, the board becomes a free for all and if not for anything other than organisational purposes, a nightmare.
•Drug addict claims about Michael Jackson in the final stages are not welcome here, or in any other part of MJJC. The autopsy report refutes this, there is NO proof that this is the case, so please do not bring that false information here claiming it to be true.

If any of these are observed in your posts 3 times, your posting privileges will be revoked.
