^ Ash don't worry, I'm thinking the same thing haha! Which is why I asked if it was recent or not. It seems more late 90s? I wonder if any of her fans can clear that up, cause I want to see the official single cover out of curiosity!

I think that was the promo for the original Startin' Over Album..which was supposed to be released in 03' so im guessing this photo was taken from around this time? i've seen the new album cover somewhere (don't remember where) but I think a photo from the same photo shoot was used...so the pictures are roughly 7 years old..

Now back to reality:

LaToya is NOT talented nor does she have a creative cell in her body to show her talent. She has no talent. Her last name is Jackson. Amen.

Not even as a Playboy model . How hard is it to be sexy & pose & model in front of a camera? LaToya's pictorial reminded me of that crazy old aunt we all have in every family, where they do something stupid just to show the family that they are still young and rebellious at 47. And that poor snake. God help that poor snake that made an appearance in one of her shots. I hope that wasn't Muscles.

If Latoya wanted to be a serious actress or singer she would have gone her way to study that art. If she wanted to be a lawyer, she would have been a lawyer. She herself said in an interview next to Michael that she wanted Michael's success (that famous fountain interview).

I know Joe was a ***)(&^^%%$( to his kids and it must have been unbearable to live with the man, but Janet and Michael were able to break away from Joe and lead a successful career on their own. To me, Latoya wanted to stay in that crazy house. Same as I don't believe for a second that her husband forced her to do Playboy and call her brother Michael the unthinkable on several TV shows in order to sell her book. I don't know how Michael was able to be in the same room with that woman in the later years. Or have his children around her. I wouldn't trust Latoya with my rottweiler.

In death she sold Michael's children to the press and the media talking about their personal lives and what they did in the days that their dad died. Parading his kids in the media a few months ago for the sake of helping Japan. She's writing yet another book about her brother. I wanna know who the f*** she's gonna blame this time for writing this new book. Joe? Katherine? In time we'll see. Why doesn't she parade Jermaine's kids in sake of helping the victims of Japan? Oh yeah, no one really cares for them, they just want Michael's kids.

In ways I am glad Michael isn't here to witness his family's betrayal & craziness. I picture him dancing in heaven carefree knowing they can never hurt him again.

Yes, that photo was taken in 2003 by Willie Maldonado. It was one of the proposed covers for the Startin' Over album but is not quite what the cover of the new EP is, which can be seen here: http://twitpic.com/56izrj

NEW YORK – La Toya Jackson writes in her new book "Starting Over" that the first question that ran through her mind after she learned of her brother's death was, "Who killed Michael?"

The book is scheduled to go on sale next week, two years after the pop star's death of a sedative overdose. Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, and trial is set for September.

La Toya Jackson says her brother often predicted he would be killed over his estate and music publishing catalog.

She also says she learned a lot about Michael's well-being in the days before his death. His daughter Paris told her that "Daddy was always cold" and that "he would always cry."

La Toya Jackson writes that she confronted Dr. Conrad Murray in the hospital shortly after her brother was pronounced dead to find out what happened and that he gave her only "evasion and excuses."

She also writes that she searched Jackson's bedroom and found it "torn to pieces," with furniture overturned and items scattered about. They included notes she believes were written by Michael indicating that he needed his father Joseph's help to get "these people out of my life" and that he "only agreed to 10 shows."

When he died on June 25, 2009, Jackson was a few weeks away from kicking off a string of 50 shows at The O2 Arena in London. Originally only 10 concerts were announced, but tickets sold out in less than an hour and 40 more shows were added.

La Toya Jackson writes that she heard from other people in Michael's life who were suspicious of his final days, including friends and fans.

She won't be the last of her family to share their story. Brother Jermaine Jackson has a book coming out in September.

Well she is admitting that she did not know what was going on prior but has been gathering info she has learned. Also nothing about blaming MJ so far. I am not sure now if i will buy the book. I have my own thoughts on Joseph but this is not the first I have heard about these handwritings about needing Joseph's help to clean house. I hope she kept those notes and presses an issue with the AG as the DA doesn't appear to want to do anything just like they were not pressed about Dee Dee's killer until the AG got involved.

I hate that his family always makes him out to be a pathetic physical mess being controlled by others. STFU Latoya. STFU.

Amen! Also, what loving Aunt tells the world EVERYTHING her niece shares with her in confidence, no less...I'm seriously beginning to think some people need to step out of the land of gullability and into the real world. I can smell the shit Ms. Toy trying to sell all the way here in Montgomery...pathetic.

So, Michael was supposedly crying all the time? Logical question is crying about what exactly. Could have been about all the crap pressure to do a family concert or to cut deals with family members and/or their friends or senseless lawsuits.

As for the comment about the notes for needing Joe's help, I would assume then that those are in the possession of the D.A.'s office. And what is up with the "she believes" was written by Michael? After all this time, she could have had that confirmed through handwriting analysis. I would also wonder who the people were that he needed out of his life. As for only agreeing to 10 shows, then I would assume that for whatever reason he had trouble reading or comprehending at the time he signed the contract because there is no "only 10 shows" in that contract.

I will say again that anything could be stated now and Michael is no longer here to confirm or deny. I still can't get over the portrayal of Michael by people in actual contact with him versus those who did not have steady contact with him.

Another thing that I don't understand: Didn't it come out in some of those early hearings that Taj was working for him at times as an assistant or something? If so wouldn't he have noticed these things and have alerted the family that something was very wrong?

thank you! The Paris thing really bothers me too.Do you think when Paris confided to her aunt she thought it would show up in a book? And seriously you guys Joseph only got Michael into stuff! Whatever you may or may not think of John Branca I think he was in more of a position to help Michael if he needed it and I think Michael knew that.

It is like they are determined to strip him of his dignity.

Classic, I agree with you. The description of Michael by people who spent time with him (hello Kathy Hilton) and those who we know spent little time. Maybe there are two Michael's!

Now I know how this MJ crying all day long for Joe's' help story came from. lol I really don't buy this story. Are you kidding me? Joe is the last person MJ would ask for help. MJ ran like hell since the 80s and now he was crying out for Joe? It's ridiculous. Joe is the one who kept trying to drag MJ into all his different project and tour with the family again. On the other hand, they just have a family unit in the end of May, 2009, less than one month MJ died. How come MJ didn't ask for help at that time? Give me a break LaToya.

Honestly, I really don't buy this story either. There's no way that the profit form 10 shows can earn enough money for this kind of production. Both AEG and MJ knew that. They only announced 10 concerts at beginning is trying to create hype. It's really common strategy to promote. The contract also showed that it's not just 10 shows. I don't think MJ is so stupid just signed it without reading it. After all these years in the business, he knew clearly that there are sharks everywhere.
