Michael - The Great Album Debate

There are five events that I wish never happened in MJ's career:

1) leaving Quincy after BAD / signing a contract with SONY after BAD = the legendary chain was broken

2) doing the Oprah interview = no more mysteries

3) removing the curls = Mike without curls is just as Charlie Chaplin without his moustache

4) trials = eventually killed MJ

5) sudden death / current Estate/SONY handling + Cascio controversy = Anything for money, you will die for it, you will lie for it, you will even sell your soul to the devil for it

This seems to be happening in every good singer's career.

Eg. Tupac Shakur, Bob Marley.

Both amazing legends, but gone too soon.

I've studied Michael's "lack of luck" from many point of view, including the conspiracy theories and also the energetic/spiritual plan.I guess this happens when a person becomes popular and a lot of pressure is put among them.

I think governments feel threatened by people like John Lennon, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, 2Pac. I think there was always an attempt to make less of these people.

I think spiritual warfare is very real, our society is in a constant fight of light against dark.

Hmm back on topic now...

You know, I've been wondering. The Take Me Away song.It sounds amazing, and also the lyrics sound like something Michael would write/record.

I don't wanna move, I don't wanna live in a rainbow
I just wanna go, I just wanna go where it's very warm
Come on and take me away to where the sun is always hot
The sun/sky is always blue
I wanna live somewhere that's beautiful
And I wanna live there with you

Let's say I wouldn't be surprised if someone will say that this was a new idea of Michael about the recording of the songs. You know he was always looking for something new (Darkchild hitting different things to get new sounds).

This song sounds fresh in my opinion, and actually I didn't hear some of the parts in the acapellas the producer used.

Eg. rainbow.

Its sad, how all the great talented people have to be killed, and were left with Gagas, Biebers, and Rebbeca Black....

$$$ + more profit + low quality + budget + turnover + profitability + ... = no magic

Sad reality. Vision and Michael both fall into such catagory. Both projects are profit oriented of very limited artistic value.

Michael, although he was immensly rich, he lived his dance, he lived his music, he lived his videos without counting how much it would cost.

That's one of the reasons why Michael was so special. Dollar sign was never his priority. He's a true artist.

May I add two more events?

6) The Pepsi accident never occured.

7) His car did not break down and he never met the Chandlers.

Actually, I don't mind event number one on your list. I absolutely love Dangerous. So, leaving Quincy Jones is not a bad idea in my opinon. I'm actually more drawn to Dangerous/HIStory/Invincible than OTW/Thriller/BAD.

Your n°6 is indeed a tragic accident, but didn't damage MJ's career.

Your n°7 is my n°4.

Dangerous, History, ... are absolutely perfect, and they would have existed probably with a Quincy Jones flavor, but still they would have been there.

another ot. It's a quick question :p
Edit. I got my answer.
:D
Please continue.

Continue what?

We're talking about the construction of the song which is really similar to the construction Cascio songs :p.

^^ Exactly! Without a doubt, it's Mike voice....The video reminds me of 'Take On Me' by Aha lol

^^ Is that what's happened to my pronuciation? I was gonna attiribute it to something else :ninja:

Now we know...weven with heavy processing, and auto tune...Michael voice is still recognizable as his own.

^^ Exactly...That's just one of the many excuses used to explain why MJ sounds oh so different on the Cascio tracks

A funny side note:
FORD lost all his masters of this remix. Should we accuse him of fraud because of this? If his name was Cascio, you surely would.

^^ Unfortunately, to me, didn't sound anything like Mike...Sounded like the same voice as the rest of the Cascio tracks ...

I've never heard it..is it just a 2 second clip? How much of the voice is heard?

I can give you one second of MJ's voice you'd recognize it immediately. On the Cascio tracks it's always the same dilemma : "What do I hear?"

Here's an example of non Cascio track; 7 seconds of music, one second of voice, can you recognize it?
