Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

She may have felt like she started "losing" him when he was getting ready to leave for London to begin his shows. In that case, this would probably be a fitting song to describe her feelings.

And then ... when she found out that his departure was gonna be permanent, she coulda probably been heard singin' this popular Kenny Rogers tune ...

(Just trying to add a little comic relief. Don't get offended anyone.)

p.s. That was a nice poem btw, Ash. I can't see the video you posted though.:(

Now see! Ash, these two things you've posted are absolutely perfect. That song made me want to cry, that's for sure!

And that poem...lovely, and can't you see how it could be the feelings and thoughts of the LITD girl (IF IF IF *remembers she's talking to Ash* "she" EXISTS! lol)....especially after her losing him?

Perfect ~ Perfect ~ Perfect!

...for Ash :flowers:

and a big, big :D !!!

Awwwwwwwww... this is so sweet. :blushing: Thanks so much! ;) :give_heart:

EDIT

Just saying that there is a Madonna song that makes me think too much about Michael... is so beautiful :

I can't forget

Lyrics:

Don't run away, come closer
I'll take you away from sadness
Let me lift you out of the darkness
Let me sooth your soul

The shadow of your smile stays on my mind
And every song I hear reminds me of you

Every breath, every step, I'm closer to you
Every day (every day), everything (everything) reminds me of you
I can't forget you at all

Don't be afraid, come to me
I know that you've been hurt and you're scared
Let me fill your heart up with gladness
Let me take you there

Everything you say stays in my heart
Everything I do, I'm thinking of you

Every breath, every step, I'm closer to you
Every day (every day), everything (everything) reminds me of you
I can't forget you at all

Love means letting go of fear
And I have nothing but love for you, my dear

I can't forget

Every breath (every breath), every step (every step), I'm closer to you
Every day (every day), everything (everything) reminds me of you
Every breath (every breath), every step (every step), I'm closer to you
Every day (every day), everything (everything) reminds me of, of you
I can't forget you at all
I won't forget you at all

Oh, I see, "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins. I've always liked that song. Thanks for posting it.

Well, I better try to get started on the project Ape gave me writing the Great American Novel based on "Love in the Dark."

I'm thinking of going a little "otherworldy" with it. Think City of Angels .

:) Thank you MP for taking this on too. I love that movie. Makes me cry. I do wish the ending were different though. I want to share a poem that story
reminds me of written by a friend of mine. It is posted in this forum. Her name is Monroemagic. One of my first online friends. She's very talented.

The angel and the maiden
There was an angel
an angel who loved a mortal woman. He'd come to her on warm breezy, summer nights, drifting down under a weeping willow tree. That was their place, the place where he lay, they place where she lay in the warmth of his wings, wings so pearly, wings so white, she lay there content through out the night. Stroking gently his wings, his pearly white wings, but in fear of the love that was forbade. In love and in bliss they shared a soft kiss, but before it was over there was a loud clap like thunder, her lover he disappeared. Warned by the creator, never see her again, one without wings....... earthly..... beneath thee.
He dropped to his knees ALMIGHTY PLEASE , hands clasped tightly together, eyes covered in pearls of sorrow, But tomorrow, damned wretched morrow, how will I keep my love? Head upturned to the heavens above, for all the hopes, for all the dreams, this angel...... he cut off his wings. His inner spirit fell, slammed to the ground, heavy and weakening woe for all earthbounds. The angel went to the maiden covered in blood and in pain I DID IT FOR MY LOVE will you love me the same? She was frightend, she was appalled, she shunned him and ran. Days upon days from the weeping willow tree he watched her in tears, no wings, no love, amidst the majestic crying tree.....just like he. On the last night of summer, maiden at her window seat, she heard the sound of singing wafting on the late night breeze, so sweet: "Put your hand out.......... please hold my hand........we can be alright......please... just put your hand out....This life dont last forever (it got closer)......better off bein together than bein miserable alone" Looking out of the window, running outside, falling in his arms, never letting go. No one had loved her the same way as he, being cast out no longer a deity, they fell on to the sweet green grass, the angel and the maiden, I'll hold your hand, I'll lay with you for all eternity.

Ash I really enjoyed your poem and songs as well. Same with your food for thought Sdeidjs.

Hello mom!

Hello Mom? :scratch:I think your mom is not here.... :p

:fear:

Soooo.. little brat so dear to my heart..lol. Read it. Or, I can tell you about it offline ;)

Also (edit) Isn't that poem of Monroe's great Ash? She's written some really great stories too but many got lost when MJNO disappeared. Quite a talent. Also, this new member who has graced us with her presence is also pretty amazing when it comes to writing. Maybe she'll show us someday. Lots of her poems and writing was lost when MJNO vanished as well.

lol.. Hi hun.

(I wasn't here, but am now) :) Guess my daughter is bored. :cheeky:
Hehehehe...see my mom is here...:)

Ape is the mother of Bored... Hey Bored :)hiya:) ... I now understand the "Hello Mom."

She's very talented. You may be able to find it in another way in the internet.... e-mail? Or not? Surely she is in some forum about Michael or facebook/twitter.

No those particular things were written just right into the forum like a post here, but are all gone now. I've lost lots as well. I would often just write poems right into the quick reply on the spot and now those are all gone. Probably just as well for my stuff, but it's a shame that all "bored's" stuff is gone and Monroe as well. That makes me sad.

Hi Bored, nice to see you here on the board.

I wrote that sentence because I was bored.

But... it -is- fun to see you here in this thread which your mom visits and enjoys so much (like the rest of us here). :D

Thanks for stoppin' by. :flowers: You seem fun.

:) thanks Shila. She is fun/funny. We were sitting side by side on the couch&she brought me my computer&signed me in then we sat side by side with her little computer&me with mine typing. Was funny. I hope she sticks around on here. Oh ash, I do still talk with Monroe, just lost her stories&other poems. She doesn't have them either now. But I hope that poem fit ok in here. Just went so well with the city of angels I thought.

i think maybe there is another possible ending for the LITD girl.
like birds.
when one bird die, the other bird in love couldn't survive so long.
after be lonely so many days, it will die one day.

Hopefully she has more to live for. Maybe if she meant so much to him then his children would be in her lives as well and maybe she has her own too and that would give her reason to live. That said, people do sometimes die after their love dies. I'm hoping my gramma sticks around and finds joy in life again without my grampa, but I could see that happening with her, what you've said. Of course it is heartbreaking when someone you love dies. Life is forever changed and so are we. It's something I'm still trying to figure out for myself, how to be my old self again, especially for my kids (after my dad died) and so many fans are going through that too. We just have to all find a way to live despite our heartbreak. maybe somehow his litd lady will too.

EDIT: hey Bored, you asked what this thread was about and I was just thinking it wasn't so nice of me to reply how I did since anyone else would have gotten a reply better than what I gave you and we didn't discuss it offline so... It was all started when AllForMJ (a member here) thought she could see a sparkle in MJ's eye and a little something that would suggest that he had someone in his life. Then she looked at some of his lyrics as well as order songs were released, and photos and such, then took them all together to see that he could possibly be in love even if he hadn't mentioned anyone being in his life. Then we went from there. We've discussed all kinds of things and even made some things up (or at least I have). Sometimes it's just been a fun or nice place to "hang out". There are some amazing posts in here and some really nice thoughts and ideas. It can be pretty mushy and romantic but you might like it anyways. :) Sometimes even goofy in here.

Wow, Ape! That poem was awesome! Thanks so much for digging it up and posting it. It does remind me of the movie, but even more it reminds me of a book I read called An Angel for Emily by Jude Deveraux. It is similar to both City of Angels and especially this poem. In it an angel falls in love with a mortal and his name happened to be ... you guessed it! Michael! Well, maybe that's not so unusual considering you've got the Archangel Michael and all, but it still kinda took me by surprise nontheless. The poem also reminds me of this song from City of Angels also which everyone probably knows by now ...

Btw, welcome aboard Bored!

Lulubelle thank you so much for contributing and letting us all know that you (and probably others too) are enjoying the thread, even if you don't post often in it. I think it's such a peaceful sweet place to come read and visit and share.

MysteriousPhoenix, I love that song you posted. Wouldn't it be a beautiful story if you took all you just wrote up there as an analogy to what could be? If the fame were the wings and Michael (our Michael) fell in love with just a regular lady with a regular life and he cut apart from his fame to be with her? If possibly the memorial was a goodbye to his old life and a death of the entertainer as we know him, so he could live a life with the woman he loves and his children all together as a family? I don't know how realistic that is or if it would even be needed for him to cut those ties from that part of his life, but if so and if he felt it necessary, what a beautiful sacrifice for her. Even a scary one for him. If he had done this, what a powerful statement of love it would be. The woman would have no doubts at all that his love was so true. (and I know many of us would love that because it would mean he'd still be somewhere on this earth loving life. He would deserve that happy life. If it could be.. ) Could you imagine that? What a love story it would be.

I'll have to find that book to read. Sounds really nice.

What a love story it would be indeed! Better than anything I could write.

Then maybe WE could write it. All of us. A collaboration. Maybe that is how many romance novels or movies come about. It's what people imagine and wish could happen.

Edit: Not that I wish for MJ to leave his entertaining world behind, but I do wish he is alive and that maybe this could be a possibility for him? I do wish he was happy and living life freely with his family and someone to be beside him through it all. ..till death do they part (and maybe after).

Cool! Sounds like an awesome idea. I have to step out of fantasy and back into reality just long enough to ask if anyone knows anything about copyright laws - especially when writing over a public forum like the internet? I would just like for all of our work to be protected.

^ Hmm. I always just think that anything that I would post online no one could really do anythng with in the way of...making money, let's say. So I just figure if I create something and post it, I'm basically kissing it goodbye. It's a freebie, in other words.

But MP, you are thinking... that is not the best philosophy?

I have been sort of formulating a storyline here just in case I kick into creative gear. It's a little "otherworldly" as well. :) You don't think if I expend the effort to write it that I should post it here for concern of copyright issues?

hmm.. That would be a shame. I think if you do post something, make sure you have it elsewhere though because so many times creative things get lost when a forum disappears. Lots of freebies online when it comes to creative thoughts shared. So we must all be pretty generous. :) . I'd love to hear your idea Shila, if you are ok sharing it.

I know I dream lots, but lately I want reality. I get tired of the good things being mostly in a fantasy world. My real life needs some more good in it.

This is what should be done. If one day some idiot use what you have written without your authorization, you will have a copy with you and you will have as prove that you are the author. If someone wants to publish what you wrote somewhere else, must ask your authorization and give the credits to you. ALWAYS! After all, you are the author.

Ash, I really enjoyed that Frank Sinatra vid you posted in the other thread, Only Have Eyes for You. I hadn't seen it before. Gosh, there is nothing like a big band carrying ya through a song...it gives such a lift. Hey, does anyone know if Michael ever sang with a big band behind him before? That would be so fun to listen to...even better to watch on a video!

Aww, Ape. Well, my "idea" would not be considered very reality based...definitely fantasy...so maybe you wouldn't prefer that and I can understand. Sometimes escaping into fantasy can help, and sometimes it can leave one dry if they are too down. Because I am not a very mushy romantic type anyway, the story might not be so perfect for in here. I was going to try my hand at it, but I may pass.

Looks like we all could use some "magic" about now, and our favorite bringer of magic isn't here. :boohoo:

That would be ...
:smoothcriminal:
... him.

I was hearing this song from a cd from my brother, he is a big fan of Sinatra. When I heard this song I immediately thought in Michael.  *big sigh* I love this live version of this song.

No I just had a moment there thinking about why I come here and shy away from any romance in my real life and it's because I would like my romance to be something special, not just a meaningless thing/fling whatever is available out there right now. But just coming to this thread is fantasy, and I'm still coming here so I guess I still escape into fantasy (and if you wanna sometime, I will love to read your fantasy you had imagined).
