Does this show air cause I'm just confused cause I saw something online that says tomorrow at 1:15pm PST on some German sites they will be airing something with the words Bambi and for the kids or something along those lines. Sorry dunno full German my dad knows a bit so he could only make out a bit of what it said.

Sometimes I think that this rush to make a lot of money recently, looks almost as though some people have a goal, like they they must make 100 million by 2012!!! It is almost as though they feel that if they do not make that amount of money by 2012, they will never be able to do so in the future. Maybe they are in a rush before the first child becomes 18, because they feel after 18 the child will have a mind of his own. Something is really odd.

You nailed it right there. I think this is exactly what is going on.
1) When prince turns 18, I believe he will be in frequent touch with the Estate executors who will be briefing him directly on the Estate matters and what the Estate is and whom it truly belongs to. right now they are isolated from the Estate. I am not even sure whether they realize they are the future heirs of the MJ's Estate.
2) Joe & KJ are both very old and feel their death is around the corner. so they are rushing to capitalize on anything MJ before their time comes.
It's going to get worse people. the next 2-4 years will be tough to bear. Until Joe and KJ die the auction of those kids will carry on.

According to the mail article Prince is going out again to berlin in november for the auction. Germany in Sept, wales in oct and germany again in nov, doesn't he have school studies to concentrate on? The bambi auction in nov ties in very conveniently with the launch of Weisner's book on MJ. I'm willing to take bets that prince will be doing publicity for that book launch.

Thanks for telling us this. Prince looks very handsome, poised and balanced, and articulate. But he should NOT be doing this! It's sickening, actually, that those two are involved. Yes, Michael WOULD be devastated. No doubt about that, at all. Prince has a lifetime to "do what his dad did," and support charitable giving. But now? He is still just a child, no matter how mature he looks/behaves; he has had NO career yet, has not yet had a chance to develop his own life. Childhood is SO precious, and he needs to be protected, not exploited.

However this happened, I do hope for some sort of miracle. Prince looks SO mature -- if he has any freedom at all, would it be possible for him to get his OWN attorney and try for emancipation? In that sense, he could select his own living arrangement with a "guardian/advocate" of his choice, and hope to remove the other two children too? Do you think it would be possible for him to set up some sort of meeting with an attorney, on his own? To try to get free of this situation?

This situation is only going to get WORSE. That family has Michael's CHILDREN working in direct opposition to the Estate. So far, the Estate has given that family a pass, but I do wish they would step in soon -- especially, with some sort of cease-and-desist injunction about the tribute. I'm SURE a lot of fans would support that action.

The charge of the Estate is to grow the wealth, for the CHILDREN. By hawking family products and participating in the so-called Tribute, the children are being used as PR to gain money. . for the REST of the family! That Jackson family that Michael left OUT of his will, intentionally!???

It sickens me, actually, to see Prince going along with this. Has he NO options, at all?

I don't care if it is for charity to help kids. Michael's handwritten lyrics for Billie Jean and Bad should NOT be put up for auction. That's just wrong, as those lyrics are Michael's genius on paper, the birth of two classic Michael Jackson songs. Those lyrics should remain with Michael's children, his Estate or a member of the Jackson family. Not sold to the highest bidder.

I'm sure Prince has been talked in to parting with Michael's lyrics. And even if he hasn't and it's his own idea, he's too young at just 14yrs old to make such a decision himself. He's bought his dads lyrics and letter with the money he inherited from his dad John Lennon. And in an interview in The Times last week, Julian said something like "I've had to buy back letters my dad wrote to me, with his money". That kind of says it all really, when Julian Lennon should have automatically owned those lyrics and letters without ever having to buy them in auctions. Also Paul McCartney has also had to buy back his own handwritten lyrics for songs like Hey Jude, because in the past people have stolen them from his home and made money from them. And Paul McCartney has said "I've had to buy back songs, I wrote for free". This could be what Prince, Paris and Blanket may end up doing when they are adults, because if irresponsible advice from adults around them who should know better, and should be looking after them and their dad Michael Jackson's legacy.

The fact Michael's handwritten lyrics to Billie Jean and Bad are up for auction shows, too many things are wrong around Michael's children regards looking after Michael's legacy. Michael fought off Julian's Auction house selling many of his possessions in 2009 for a good reason. And it doesn't look like Michael's wishes are being respected enough. And it looks like Prince is being took advantage of.

People have already been paid for this event. Mann, Weisner and the person who had to give permission for Prince to take part. Notice every time there is a Michael event a product shows up: Katherine's book at the Gary event, Joe's perfume at the Gary event, Katherine's book at the BAMBI event. Anyone who does not see this pattern, is living on a fluffy cloud.

I think so. Anthony knows MJ kids shouldn't be out in the media like that. He was raised by Michael as well and knows what a great parent he was

Sorry to be a pain, but if you're thinking of the photo earlier in the thread with mann holding the photo book Mrs J brought out, I'm pretty sure it was just a random photo posted to show that the book Prince was promoting was the one Mann produced. There's nothing i've seen to show that mann was there in berlin as well. it's enough to know that prince is in the company of Weisner.

I agree with every word of this post. If these are original documents, they are unlikely to remain in the hands of one buyer for long ...and the next time they are sold it is more likely to be for profit than for charity. Sadly these items will always have an intrinsic monetary value as investments, and in a rocky global economy investors will see them as a 'safe haven' ie safer than money in the bank. The future financial value ( let alone the currrent cultural value) of these items is incalculable....
