Michael - The Great Album Debate

I think that likely the songs were in very final stages when handed to Teddy.

Now, likely having the complete masters to the songs he maybe could have seen some of the ad-libs and re-arranged them, maybe some of them were mixed together in the actual audio he received.

My opinion, just guessing really, is that Teddy got the songs like Monster and Breaking News in that sort of demo form and he polished them up and completed them more, having very little to do with the acapellas and stuff.

I think him saying that no one can do that "scream" like Michael can is slight evidence that he received the songs with the ad-libs already on and he was fooled by the brain trickery. Or he could be lying.

oh no.. I can't believe he was fooled.... he knew very well what he was doing!

huh.. where is nasty? :D

Damn! 15 minutes later I am still laughing with this picture of John McCain! lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooooo!

hahahahahahahaahahahahahahhaahahahhahha! Damn, I am in tears!!!!!!!!! I just imagine McCain mixing things randomly without having a damn clue what he's doing. :lmao:

CASCIO SONGS

You know what's strange? Right now it says that 3 members are browsing the thread, yet it only shows 2 names.

Does Sony keep the multitracks after they release an album? Would they be able to provide them?
We are now trying to understand how the Estate was involved in this rip-off .. I think that's important, and we need a strong certitude before to judge them guilty.

Some other clues:
- we know for sure that Teddy added 2 "aah" in Monster, at 3'25 (they are present in 50 cents version but not in the early mix) => so he had access to multitracks.
- he also removed the scream from ghost.
- this "aah" was also used in Black Widow. Did he work on that song?
- BN and Monster seem to be the same dirty work, KYHU and Stay is another style, All I need still another style.. Teddy seems to be the one who sampled Invincible to paste words everywhere.

The scream from the Ghosts movie is in the final mix of Monster, just way low down in the mix.

And Teddy Riley knew full well what he was doing -

I remember when Teddy and I were at Encore listening to KYHU. We both knew it wasn't my Uncle. He stopped working on it because (and I quote) "it didn't sound enough like Michael. Michael doesn't swing like that." He also said he was only working on the Cascio records in hopes that he would eventually be given a "real Michael Jackson song." As he knows, I never agreed with that logic. I'll never forget when Teddy called me telling me, "I'm so excited, I finally got a 'Michael record.' It's called Hollywood Tonight and it's him." Taryll Jackson.

Maybe the above quote explains why Tricky Stewart ended up with KYHU after Teddy.

Also, did Sony give a reason for stopping Michael Friday?

CASCIO SONGS

:lmao: :lmao:

McClain, McCain..whateva loooooool

Jason Malachi(Cascio vocalist) is a cheesy singer and Michael Jackson(Thriller/Invincible vocalist) isn't.

You just don't use pasted words to make an MJ song!! Especially to make your vocalist sound more MJ-ish... It's like if I said:

"Hey guys, turn out that Michael recorded in my house in March 2009! He didn't get a whole lot done, but you know in This Is It when he sings 'Water, Water ooh...'? Yeah, that's all me! Now I used a few words to build it up, but I SWEAR that what you're hearing is 100% Michael Jackson!"

NO-ONE would believe that for a second!!!

Well some believe it.

ok but the cheese is not cheesy :D

Lol, the secret of the recipe is to put some McCain Creamy Cheese into the Cas(c)io keyboard and get Jason to sing the songs, the whole mixed (up) with John McCain :D You obtain the mysterious voice that is supposed to sound like MJ with beautifully hilarious lyrics. :D

well.. listen at 2:51. Do you still hear it in the final mix?

When did they listen KYHU for the first time? Do you know? And why was Taryll so close to Teddy at that time.. I don't remember

Do you think that really implies they were "so close"? Could have just been in the same room hearing it, around each other only due to them both working on the album.

Well.. Taryll just put his voice on HT. but at that time, Teddy didn't get the song yet... so it surprises me a bit that he confided him about details on the Cascio Tracks.. and I wondered when he said that exactly.

whoa . . . well, nasty's always on, that's a given. but right now there's apparently someone in here with an invisibility cloak. how does THAT happen?! (or does that happen all the time and i've just never noticed?)

I just don't understand Taryll. Why he never mentioned that bridge in HT is fake and why he decided to take part in it? I am sure he knew that there is a bridge written by MJ. So for me Taryll is absolutely not reliable source. He can do anything for money. What was the problem to say : "sorry Teddy but I don't want be involved in HT if you don't give me my uncle real bridge for spoken part"???

Taryll or not, Hollywood Tonight is sung by MJ. The Cascio songs aren't.

It's someone who has their profile on 'invisible mode' :D
