Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor"

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

@autumn

True it's not an issue of ratings but it seems like the "interest" is allowing them to sell it to more channels around the world hence bringing more money to Murray and his team through distribution fees.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I was NEVER intending to watch this interview at all but after reading the news articles, transcripts of the TODAY interview, summaries & frustrations of this mokumentary, I seriously hope I don't come upon this when watching TV.

The more I learn about Murray the more I learn what kind of person he truly is....

Murray is a effing scum!!!

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I watched the documentary on ch4 plus 1 last night and missed the first bit of the interview with the bearded guy at the beginning, and i never picked up the refs to bed wetting or dolls, which is what i was most concerned about as it was such an invasion of mj's privacy. The prog was only 1hr 5mins and all media reports said it was a 50mins doc, so with the 10min(?) interview and all the adverts, i'm wondering if ch 4 edited out some stuff. Wd be interested if other uk viewers cd confirm (i suppose i cd have missed it), i'm hoping ch4 took notice of the outraged emails.

Murray came out of the doc as a complete charlatan, a certifiable nutjob. He didn't even attempt to sound credible when trying to explain what happened that night. At least we know now that if someone tries to defend him, they must be an irrational hater.

Both of those parts are in the YouTube uploads of the "documentary." Murray makes reference to the bed-wetting and is asked whether he thought it was psychological, and of course, since Dr. Conrad Murray is an undercover psychologist on the side, he thought himself fit to make an immediate diagnosis that the issue was psychological in nature. It could not have anything at all to do with the fact that he pumped his patient with drugs and basically put him under, which meant he had no control of his bowel movements (anyone who has ever been sedated knows this, of course). So, given that, how did Murray possibly expect Michael to get up and go to the restroom? I think it is very obvious that if he's being given an anesthesia agent like propofol, he's going to be completely KOd, and thus not capable of walking to the restroom like someone who is under regular sleep. Duh!

The doll thing was brought up by Flanagan's b-tch wife, Susan (who, by the way, is hideous). She basically said, "explain to me why a 50 year old man sleeps with a baby doll, and has pictures of babies and infants looking at him." Then Flanagan says idiotic things to support his disgusting wife, and Chernoff, interestingly enough, defends Michael by saying he thought the media portrayed him as being weird. Then, he had a disagreement with the Flanagans over that, Chernoff walks away with his food, and a bit after that scene, the fight between Chernoff and Flanagan ensues, during which Flanagan drops the "F" bomb at Chernoff, who actually took it quite well.

EDIT: Regarding YouTube channels, yes, some do have advertisements, but the way it works is that if the owner of the channel with the content in question chooses to place ads alongside his upload, the ads get played before the video goes on (as you all know), but it is the channel owner that gets paid by YouTube. Therefore, if the documentary is in a YouTube channel that does not belong to MSNBC or any of the other networks, they cannot get paid for it because, as far as YouTube is concerned, the footage is assumed to belong to the channel owner, unless proven otherwise, in which case the video gets muted or taken down, and that's it. The channel which currently is hosting this sick joke of a documentary is NOT an MSNBC affiliated channel, nor is it part of any media. It's a regular YouTube user channel, and you can tell they recorded it off the television because the quality of the film is not great.

So, YouTube will gauge how many views something gets, this is true, but none of the money from ads (if any) will be going to MSNBC or its sponsors.

(voice over) Murray originally told the police he left Jackson's room for only 2 and half minutes to use the restroom but cell phone records show Murray was also on his iPhone that morning talking and emailing for more than 40 minutes. In our interview Murray made a key admission. He stepped away during that time and was gone from the room far longer than the 2 minutes he has acknowledged.

Savannah: You walked out of the room to talk on the phone?

Murray: Absolutely. I wanted him to rest.

Savannah: you said that you were talking on the phone but could see him.

So now this FOOL has gone on national televison (and beyond) and has basically admitted that he lied during his police interview.

Lord Jesus, please let Judge Pastor hear this interview. I'm sure he will be delighted to add some of this interview information while deciding The Murderer's fate. Amen!

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Murray is not only a killer, he's a coward as well! He still isn't man enough to stand behind his own stupid mistakes. Combining this and the fact that he has fathered several children that he isn't taking care of it's very safe to say that he's a simple effin' coward!!!

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Hi everyone

I know it's a weird question to ask but does anybody have a good link to this documentary? I only saw videos in which someone recorded the tv with a video camera so the quality isn't good. I've been covering Murray's trial for a major news website where I live (Israel) and made sure the truth of what we learned is heard. Now my editor wants me to write a review about this documentary. At first I didn't really want to but now I'm thinking it's better I do it than someone who is only looking for scandals and all the sensationalism.

I really hope I can do this. My heart hurts so much but I want to try - it's important. This documentary is probably very one sided - I can put it into context.

To me it seemed his answer was a lot sinister and he was actually trying to hint something. Saying it's psychological and saying Joe went beyond beating and harmed him - to me seemed like he might have been talking about something else.

In adults bed wetting is generally either due to a sleep disorder (generally deep sleep that the bladder doesn't tell the brain that it's full) or significant childhood abuse (generally sexual in nature).

On the other hand Murray by his own admittance said that he gave Michael Propofol for 60 nights. So he saw him only when he was sedated and that pee could have simply be related to the sedation and not anything else.

Right. And that "interest" is probably determined, in part, by Youtube clicks? Like a kind of survey? But for me, nobody or his Mama is going to know if I watch it tonight, or work on a sewing project? (and I still think Murray may have shot himself in both feet, through this fiasco.)

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

@Ivy: I know that's what he was attempting to hint at. I was just making fun of the certainty in his tone of voice when he gave his answer. It obviously served two purposes: 1) to point blame away from himself, and 2) to insinuate something scandalous about Michael. I know bed wetting in adolescents and adults is usually a sign of a psychological disorder, but consider the conditions under which Michael achieved sleep (aka Murray's entire purpose in this equation), it is likelier the bed-wetting stemmed from the nature of the agents Murray was using and their effect on Michael than on any psychological thing he may be hinting at. The guy must think we're all idiots.

@AbigailLovesMJ I will PM you the YouTube link.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Dr. Conrad Murray says he doesn't feel guilty about the death of Michael Jackson ... insisting, "I didn't do anything wrong."

The "Today" show is finally airing an intense sit-down interview with Murray that was conducted before the guilty verdict was handed down in his manslaughter case.

During the interview, Murray COMPLETELY CONTRADICTS the story he told police about what he was doing when Michael Jackson was dying on June 25, 2009.

Murray told NBC, he put MJ to sleep that fateful day ... and left the room to talk on the phone, because he didn't want to wake Michael up.

But when Murray spoke with cops, he told them a different story -- that he left the room to use the restroom ... and he was only gone for two minutes.

Murray's admission seems to change the timeline -- the NBC report says Murray was outside talking on the phone for "far longer than the two minutes he acknowledged."

When asked if he regretted leaving the room that day, Murray thought about his answer and replied, "I regret that Michael has passed."

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Let me say this because i see that lots of people here have watched that despicable program. This is my personal opinion. MJ fans SHOULD NOT WATCH THIS PROGRAM OUT OF RESPECT ON MJ'S MEMORY not because they don't want to give ratings on those channels that broadcast it. I mean isn't it a bit hypocritical to protest against the show and then go and watch it? That show not only offends Mike's memory and makes mockery of that trial but should also offend us as human beings who who we claim that we live in a civilized society .

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I think he wants to say that MJ was incontinent at night...
b e c a u s e he - and during trail his lawyers - said that the day of "the accident" MJ had no IV drip (so no propofol but the initial bolus of 25, and no need for catheter)...
but BG AA saw the condomcatheter and said so in testimony!
So why the condomcatheter in his own fictive story)?? See my first line... Why story of incontinence : because of that catheter THAT morning.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

At least TMZ has the headline right.

Conrad Murray in Documentary
Everyone TRASHES MJ

The controversial Conrad Murray documentary debuted in the United Kingdom tonight -- and in it the doctor emphatically states that AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips told him Michael Jackson does not have a "f**king cent!"

Murray claims Phillips pulled him aside after a meeting about the "This Is It" concerts and angrily said ... "What's this bullshit all about? Listen this guy is next to skid row. He's going to be homeless. Nine security guards? Why does he need that? I'm paying for that s**t. I'm paying for the toilet paper he wipes his f**king ass with."

Phillips took the stand during the manslaughter trial and -- under oath -- denied that conversation with Murray ever took place.

"Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship" also shows strategy meetings between Murray's lawyers -- Ed Chernoff and Michael Flanagan ... as well as Flanagan's wife, Susan.

During one pow wow Susan says, "Explain a 50-year-old man who sleeps with a baby doll and has pictures of basically infants to 2-year-old children looking at him every night."

Chernoff then says, "I think the media made him appear weirder than he is." Michael responds, "You gotta be kidding me, he can't be any weirder than he is."

In the docu, Murray claims Michael "always had a chamber that was exclusively his. The bedroom that he slept in ... I had to persuade him, eventually to have it cleaned. Because ... one, he peed the bed. It did not smell good. It was mildew, and I had to get it clean."

"Who would ever believe that a man his age would still be wetting his bed?" Murray added it wasn't medication that made MJ wet the bed ... he claims it was psychological.

The documentary airs in the states, Friday night on MSNBC.

The man who drove Dr. Conrad Murray throughout his six-week trial described Michael Jackson's personal physician as "a really good person" who is "surrounded by sharks."

Louis Perry, a Los Angeles-based security executive, said he came forward to talk to The Times because he felt sympathy for Murray and is not sure that a controversial documentary scheduled to air on MSNBC Friday night would serve the doctor's best interests.
"I think the show is going to do more damage than any money that he might have made," Perry said.
Perry said Murray at times grew weary of the constant filming, his driver recalled. "He would say, 'I am tired of these guys. I can't wait until this thing is done,' " Perry said.
As the trial and production of "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" neared an end, the producers asked Perry to sign a release — clearing them to make him a part of the program. But Perry declined to sign and his lawyer responded with a letter, saying Perry had not been compensated for appearing in the documentary. A lawyer for October Films answered that the driver would not appear in the finished product.
In an interview with The Times, Perry said a British documentary film producer gave Murray and his defense team free lunches and rides to court during the six-week trial. That arrangement raises new questions about the documentary, "Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship," which is scheduled to air Friday evening despite calls for the network to cancel it.
The arrangement gave the London-based production company access to Murray and his defense team. U.S. broadcasters generally frown on giving financial aid to the subjects of news reports.
NBC, parent company of MSNBC, says it plans to move forward with plans to air the hourlong documentary Friday night and again Sunday. The network said it had not paid the cardiologist or his legal team.

Altogether now......POOOOOOOOOR CONRAD MURRAY

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

I get you teli-mj.

Personally I watched e-v-e-r-y our of the trial streaming.
I was very intensively "in" all this.

There I saw countless minutes of that silent m-a-s-k of Murray's.
Then the relief of the verdict!
Then the unbelievable : the announcement of the docu!
I felt choqued, sick, shivering and absolutely out of balance for two days. (Like many of you guys...)

Well after everything... this I could not let loose... so I decided to witness with my own eyes and ears that sick spirit. I was so disgusted... but I saw, heart and felt it SO clearly and now I can close it for myself, it doesn't make me ill anymore.
But I would not recommend to watch it!!!
And I am very angry. But I can handle it.

Is the documentary 'The Man who killed Michael Jackson' (basically) the same as 'Michael Jackson and the Doctor'?

Excuse me if this has been asked before, I haven't had time to wade through all 47 pages of this thread.

It's the same.

And, I have every intention of watching it, as painful as it will be. I will use it as ammunition/motivation for further action, because personally, I think it's better to know the enemy than not, and no money will change hands as a result of my watching it. (And, I'm hoping to witness Murray's implosion. . . . ) For others, it's a matter of personal choice, of course.

Michael was abused as a child but I don't think he was sexually abused (well, if we don't consider having to perform in strip clubs as a 5 year old as a kind of sexual abuse). Other than that I don't think so.

Are you serious? I can't believe some people believe Conrad Murray wet bed crap? A liar who said everything to make himself good by dehumanizing the man he killed. I sometimes dont understand people, what can be trust from a proven liar's mouth. from all the evidence, science and common sense, everything he said have been proven the lies and served only one purpose: poor Conrad Murray!

I agree. Murray is a pathological liar so why take anything he says at face value?

I'm not sure what he was trying to imply with that pee story, but from that to suggest MJ was sexually abused as a child is going a bit too far, in my opinion. Michael never claimed to have been sexually abused by Joseph or anyone else and there's no evidence of something like that. The beatings - that's another subject.

For god sake, if Michael Jackson really 'wet his bed', do you really think this shit just come out now? We are talking about Michael jackson, the man who spent most his life in hotels around the world.

Well, just watched 'The man who killed Michael Jackson' on Youtube. It's completely bewildering. CM's behavior, I don't know how to classify that, 'performance-art', 'psychologically disturbed', 'hypocritical', all of the aforementioned? Indeed, as mentioned on this thread before, it's 'Poor Conrad Murray'. Isn't this completely damaging his chance of appeal as well?

Besides, Mr Chernoff comes across as fairly sympathetic. I would have been more interested in the legal behind-the-scenes of the defense, as the program only hints at the turmoils going on there.

Thanks Severus snape for pointing out the insulting refs to mj. I had a quick look at the youtube (the one in 7 parts) and i'm pretty sure it's the australian version. The time it was uploaded to youtube was before it was broadcast in the uk and the uk one was called The man who killed MJ, and began with an interview with a bearded chap, prob the doc maker. I really do not recall these refs in the one i watched in the uk, so i'm really hoping that channel4 had some conscience and deleted the gross privacy breaches regarding mj. I'd be interested if the american version does the same.

My sisters and brothers, please, remember this.
Conrad Murray is a psychopath, a sociopath, a pathogical liar, and a murderer.
You can believe nothing he says.
MSNBC and Conrad Murray, and his lawyers are part of the
greedy EVIL corrupt people that are here on Earth.

Here is something else for you to watch, instead, of that media trash:

I'm always really suspicious of anyone suggesting sexual child abuse in mj's case - it is purely pernicious rumour , and to me is deliberately designed to make it more believable that mj is a child abuser as it is statistically proven that if you suffer abuse in childhood you are more likely to become an abuser yourself. DDimond states it as a fact that it happened to mj so anyone who repeats it has an agenda. I;m amazed at Karen faye joining in the speculation, but as she has proved before, with friends like her, mj didn't need enemies.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

Why are we even discussing his words. We all know he is a liar, we shouldnt give him this much attention.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Interview part 1 transcript @

^I'd say they're a house divided. MSNBC obviously is only looking out for the benefit of MSNBC, Chernoff for Chernoff's, Flanagan's for Flanagan's, and Murray's for Murray's. So, they've all screwed each other over, basically, and the person it hurt the most out of them all is, fortunately, Conrad Murray. He does not come across as sympathetic AT ALL. In fact, he appears downright lunatic, especially during his creepy "spiritual revelation." Flanagan's wife Susan comes across as a total bitch, Flanagan as a jerk and a yes man who goes along with whatever his wife says, and pretty much the only person who comes out of this looking a little bit better is Edward Chernoff.

I think this will be atrocious for the sentence come the 29th, but then again, Chernoff and Flanagan never really cared about Dr. Murphey ("What is his name?" ~Flanagan). Evidently, they only cared about their own gains--so now the asshole Murray knows what it feels like to deal with people whose only interest is their own benefit. Well-deserved.
