I always felt the reason Paris and Prince were allowed public twitter accounts was for them to gain a following to promote Jackson events and now thier own careers in the Biz. Thats why they were having contests between themselves to gain he most followers in the beginning. They were "told" to do that. Its all part of promoting themselves as are all the Jackson twitter accounts. Thats what celebrities use twitter for. Paris enjoys interacting with her followers , fans and haters. but Prince not so much. His tweets are short yea, no .. I love you too .. etc etc. Paris loves being in the public eye and the forfront. I think Prince will take a more behind the scene approach in his career choices except for when he supports his family and father at various events. But like he said his options are wide open.

Im sure theJackson's get 100's of various deals put before them for the children. My fear is who is grooming them and managing them now. Someone besides the children are getting paid big time for being the middle man so to speak. They get paid just for giving others access to Michael's children. Sadly Thats how it works in the business. Michael learned quick and finally removed his family from having any control of his own carreer and choices. I hope the children learn and do that as well in the coming years. This business can be so brutal. I sincerely hope someone is looking out for their best interest. They are still very young and niave. I fear they are going to learn the hard way and get hurt in the process.

We almost always ignore that the Jacksons are survivors in the entertainment industry. Despite their respective lackluster individual careers, the Jacksons have not got themselves into destructive paths. Unlike many of their contemporaries, the Jacksons did not have issue with hard drugs or other substances. To stay clean in an environment full of seductions is probably the most important thing for all up-and-coming artists. If the only guidance Paris ever received from the Jacksons is to stay away from substance abuse, then that&#8217;s probably the most important advice. The Jacksons probably will not be able to offer Paris any good business advice. Will Paris regret some of the decisions she made and project she got involved in the future? Probably she will. But, who can say in confidence that all the decision he/she made are all good. Michael had made some very bad career decisions himself. If Paris has enough determination, intelligence and talents, she will succeed. Janet is a good example. </SPAN>

In the many public appearances the children made in the past two and a half years, the children have demonstrated that they are well behaved, polite and eloquent. Although Blanket always looks shy and uncomfortable, he is polite. They are proof of how good a parent Michael was. But, why can&#8217;t we also give some credits to the people raising them now? Anyone who lost a parent at an early age will tell you how difficult it is to deal with the emotional void. Love and support from people surrounding the children is very important. Look at the children now. Aren&#8217;t they healthy and happy? The fact that they didn&#8217;t close themselves from the outside world after the collapse of their only world in 2009 tells me Katherine or whoever raising the children now must have done something right. No, I&#8217;m not suggesting that the Jacksons are perfect parents or great parents. But, to be fair, they are not as evil and bad as so many have suggested. They do not do everything right. But, they must have done something right. I saw fans got upset when people praised Katherine for the way she looks after the children. Many fans feel Katherine takes credit away from Michael. I don&#8217;t think it makes sense to get upset. Don&#8217;t we all want the children to have a good guardian? </SPAN>

We love Michael so much that we only want the best for his children. But, sometimes, we tend to magnify things we don&#8217;t like to a degree out of proportion and always assume the worst. It&#8217;s understandable to have concerns. But, too many times, we are overwhelmed with &#8220;the Jacksons are evil&#8221; mentality. For instance, some can&#8217;t wait to point finger at LaToya for this film role Paris got or accuse the family for getting all the money. Do we know whether any of the Jacksons is involved in this film at all? I don&#8217;t know why fans always have such double-stardard with the Jacksons. For example, spotlight from promoting the Cirque show is harmless; whereas spotlight from the Cardiff tribute is detrimental. Or, we shouldn&#8217;t prematurely judge the Cascios, yet it&#8217;s okay to speculate on the Jacksons. Some said things like &#8220;I sense that LaToya is involved&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;m sure the Jacksons get 100% of what&#8217;s being paid&#8221; without any proof. </SPAN>

Over the past years, I have learned what I think is not usually right. So, I always ask myself to not jump into conclusion too early from now on. If there is evidence that the family took all the money Paris makes from this film, I&#8217;ll join you guys and hang the Jacksons. Until then, I&#8217;m not going to make any allegation. </SPAN>

Don't go in public, don't use internet, don't speak to media ..........

If the kids do what you're saying, they all be mental retarded.

I said it many times, these kids are grown, NOT ADULD. You still see them as the "kids with the masks". You can't protect them from everything. Thats how life is. they need to go trough, else they will be weak. they can't hide.

the way some speak with Paris on twitter or else, isn't right, but that way she can learn to handle such things.

In short: a husband sees his wife, a becoming mother, and her mother crying. he asks what wrong? they say, we are going to have baby. he will grow and start to walk. he will go trough the door in the cellar, there is the axe hanging and it will fall on his head and will die.

It seems like they want to use her name to promote the project.
First they have to sell the book - to the public /school to have the funds to produce the movie.
Unless they have some studio backing that we haven't heard yet??

I agreed that maybe too early for promotion.

From your ramblings, I'm wondering, are YOU serious!? 0-0 .A 13 year old is NOT grown...sleep with one, then tell the POLICE that. Let us dumb people know how that works out for ya. Fact of the matter is, the JACKSONS put themselves out there and make asses of themselves. Its not our fault that their reputation for being greedy, lazy, delusional people who lack any common sense, much less business sense precedes them. So, when they enter into shitty deals that end in lawsuits, they ARE the ones to blame...noone twisted their arms, they were looking for a quick buck and got what they deserved. Humility is a good trait-one the JACKSON'S should look into acquiring. One more thing, the GUARDIAN of these children have been dragging them around by her coin purse since June 25, 2009. Not to mention, the media only has access to these children because their guradian is allowing it and receiving money for it. Also, one last fact: in order for this CHILD to do this movie, her guardian has to sign, and yes, her guardian is getting some change out of this. Furthermore, MJ hid his kids faces, kept them out of the spotlight, not speaking with the media, etc. and that didn't make PPB mentally retarded as you say, and MJ did a damn good job, and I applaud him for it! At least he didn't use his MINOR children for money and attention like his mother and relatives...please have a seat, asap.. _/

I was gonna post that. Her pic has been replaced with Pierce Brosnan. Her pic was the one that promoted the Thursday show.. PLUS the trailer of tomorrows show have edited her out as well. I watched the trailer yesterday and they said something like "Michael Jacksons daughter Paris is here to make a special announcement", but that part is cut out too.

Is it possible she will NO longer appear on the Ellen show? Or maybe at a later date?

Well i hope paris is ready for the spotlight and the beginnings of a movie career.

With all this media exposure and ambition to be in the entertainment business immediately she is going to be confronted with the abuse allegations children made against her beloved father, and the widespread belief (outside the fan communities) that mj is not actually her father. I don't read her twitter account but understand from posts that she might already be getting some of those attacks from people sending tweets, but she's going to discover that it is more than just a few haterz on twitter who hold these views. If at the age of 13, two years after losing her father who was her whole world, she can cope with this type of attack then i suppose she's ready for the spotlight. Personally i don't know how that is possible.

Nope. Janet started on shows that were already known and popular. And those shows had credible folks behind them.

It just speaks volumes that as mad as some of you are at the fans for expressing concern, you guys are unable to logically defend what the family is always doing.

Lom Kit acknowledged the Jacksons are not innocent. But, it's not right to blame them for everything that goes wrong under the sun. And, this sounds like defending to you? I hope he/she doesn't work as a defense attorney for his defense is weaker than what Flannagan and Chernoff could put together.

This is another post the most reflects my point of view on the topic. I was waiting for someone to come to this type of opinion.
As I said though in my first post,I'm an admirer of their father. I do care about Michael's children,but I do it from afar,I don't 'know' the kids personally. Although of course I'm curious about their lives as far as watching them grow-up and see what they do in their lives.

When what the family is doing or is allowing, is constantly justified by some, it is hard not see what it is they are saying as not defending them. As a read that post, I was at a loss as to why this poster was being so "oh well" about what is going on.

This poster was 'oh well' on the tribute page, so it's no surprise that she isn't concern now.

It's maybe culture, but kim seems to really believe a 13 years old is capable to make life decisions.

I don't think that poster doesn't care. If that poster truly has an "oh well" attitude, he/she wouldn't even bother writing a post. He/she expressed his/her opinion just like every one of us here. We don't see thing eye-to-eye, which happen a lot in different topics.

Well, this particular poster kind of have a history of defending the family when it comes to using or not guiding the kids. In the tribute page, this person all but said Prince and Paris were old enough to do whatever they wanted.

Also, this person does attack people for saying anything otherwise, so it isn't just us. I have no problems with different opinions and discussing it like grown-ups. But, this poster all but dismissive other concerns and call them haters, kind of like what she just did in her post. So, this goes both ways.

My book came, I'll start reading it Friday. The cover is cheap and by just doing a quick scan I think the believers might have a field day with this book.
