Thanks Naturelle I'll send you a PM about the info I need for that.

@AFL I've been using yours for 2 presents already so I'm just going to use the CC of Naturelle now.

For example, I liked Elephant Bouquet (for $57):

I love this one and I also think it's appropriate for our occasion.

Most of the flower arrangements there make me sad for some reason,so the cute elephant would be a nice, sweet choice.

We could even complement it with something like this one and send the two :

Precious Love $29.99

The others that caught my eye have bright colours, but I don't know if they would be right for us.I guess I'm looking for something to cheer me up a little :(

http://flowershop.forestlawn.com/product.asp?catID=AO&pID=85 Blazing Sunshine $71.95

http://flowershop.forestlawn.com/product.asp?catID=ARR&pID=34 Triumphant Gladioli Regularly $110.00, now $88.00.

This one has various colours to choose from instead of the ones shown.

This one is beautiful too,but it's expensive : http://flowershop.forestlawn.com/product.asp?catID=ARR&pID=57
Tranquility $120.00

So yet we have 5 voices for Elephant Bouquet (for $57) - Vinter, Mirabella76, AllForLove, Popescu, Selene.

Selene, I like your choices! :)

Elephant and the roses together over the others as they are a rip off for just a bunch of flowers. hence why i mentioned the wreath type ones

Roses and carnations are classical funeral combination but it looks beautiful. And i like a wreath too

Guys, I was thinking about something concerning the money left (if something is left, of course) - Some of you want to give it to a charity, but what about a donation to MJJC for the safety of our Home ? the donation goal for the year is far and we can help a little.

Of course, to do this, we have to be all agree - For my part, of course, I am for this option.

What about you ?

AFL, I don't mind too but I think we should decide in turns... first with FL, then with funds left :) with L.O.V.E.

I like this combination too..white for innocence and red for love. (tho' I think the red arrangment is carnations?....which is fine, they last a long time.) The elephant is really cute.

I don't want to sound harsh but I think the elephant is a bit childish.

I liked the white bouquet with vase
AO19.jpg
and this one too http://flowershop.forestlawn.com/pro...atID=AO&pID=96

I wish there was something more christmasy lol is that a word XD that we could order.
But there is always the option to ask FL flowershop to arrange a nice bouquet for us and name the amount of money we want to spend on it. I'm going to send them an email to check the options.

Thank you for doing this!
Will be waiting for their reply.

Yeah,that's what I had in mind :)

I see it as childlike, not childish :cheeky:

Thanks for mailing them.I remember seeing they had a "designer's choice" arrangement in the site. The drawback is that you can end up not liking the result,so let's see what they say.
Personally,I would rather something not related to Christmas, but more neutral. My reason for this is that this flowers are in my mind connected to the closure we may have had with the trial and the sentence. It's hard to explain, kind of like wanting to visit and be close after these last months and this is the only way I can do it.
I know he'll be getting lots of beautiful gifts& flowers during the festivities and if that's what everyone wants,I'm fine with it too, though.I just see this flowers as something unrelated and something everyone can embrace.

As for the funds left,if there are any,I had thought about that and also about planting trees through MJJC Legacy Project.I think both are options we could consider :]

Thanks guys for dong this..I would of contributed but hours have been cut at work...it stinks.

Yeah,that's what I had in mind :)

I so agree with all of the above...about the 'childlike' sweet elephant gift, the non-Christmassy theme so the flowers are special to Michael at the end of the trial and I think the suggested use of any leftover funds for planting trees would be lovely.

So agree with ALL this too!

P.S. "Not childish but childlike" -MJ.

Received a reply from the flowershop. I also asked if they could make a photo of the arrangement when we ask for a custom made one so we know what has been made from our money.

Dear Valued Customer,

You are welcome to customize any flower arrangement of your choice especially if you do not find the arrangement of your choice online.
We are also part of another website www.teleflora.com maybe you can find something more sutiable to your liking there.
If not, you are always welcome to call us for futher suggestions through (800) 204 - 3131 or you can call directly at (323) 340 - 4633.
And yes, we can take a photo of your arrangement outside the mausoleum ( since photos are not permitted inside) for a small fee of $5.00.
I hope I have answered all your questions and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Ruth

So I suggest we take a look at the other website and decide what we want custom made or not. Anything is possible.

About the rest of the money, AFL suggested the idea through PM to me and I already thought about that before she brought it up but as a staff member I didn't think I should come up with that. As you all can see (above the forum homepage) Gaz still needs quite a lot of money to pay for MJJC so I think it's nice to support our home but like I said I shouldn't be the one to suggest this.

Edit: OMG I love this one!!

And the $5,00 is a small fee I'm willing to pay for if everyone else agrees of course :)
