I'm pretty sure Sunflowers group will have a christmas delivery. so I would personally suggest before them or wait a while after christmas.

If you decide to wait until after Christmas, you could always go for a date near the 23rd January...will that be the 'very last' trial-related hearing...before any appeal? I think this is the date they will consider the financial compensation.

Hi !! I'm for the premium and my humble opinion is that we should do it now :flowers:

Ok I can order tonight, I found this poem online

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died
A heart of gold stopped beating
two twinkling eyes closed to rest
God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best
never a day goes by that you’re not in my heart and my soul.

Angela it's so beautiful

I know I'm so late in saying this,but the Heart & Soul Bouquet is beautiful :heart:
I didn't want to say anything last time I posted cause,as I said,I was half asleep.I also was kind of in love with the elephant one still,but I didn't want to be stubborn about it cause I knew I would see the heart shaped one with new eyes once I was rested,as it was.Thank you again Angela,for all your efforts.
I also put my vote for a stuffed animal + the picture,though I understand it's already been decided :]

Now,about the note,this is very hard and I have no words,so I appreciate all of you who have lovingly come up with something.All the notes express beautiful sentiments in a heartfelt way and I hope I won't be hurting anyone,this is truly not my intention.However,I would like it to be,again,something that we all can embrace,kind of like what Vinter or Sunflowers posted,instead of mentioning religion and God.I don't want to seem intolerant or insensitive,I respect faith,but I would be more comfortable with a more neutral wording.Just my 2 cents,which isn't much,considering I'm not providing my own alternative...

As for when to send it,either now or close to the next hearing,I don't mind.

And about the leftover money,I would be happy for it to go to the board :)

I agree with you, and not because I want my message to be written on the note but it's more about the ending of the trial, the results of which were so important at least for the justice.

I'm not a religious person either I just thought it was a nice poem especially the part of "if love could have saved you, you never would have died". I already checked to see if we could take that part out but I don't think that's possible. I disagree this should be about the trial it's about showing love imo.

I LOVED the poem.. especially the quote you posted..
I love it so much because it is true.

We could try to finish the poem ourself in a different way..

Dear Michael,

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died
A heart of gold stopped beating
two twinkling eyes closed to rest

That poem is beautifull!! I think it also represents a lot of the things we have on our mind.

Maybe we could finish it something like this:

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died
A heart of gold stopped beating
two twinkling eyes closed to rest
but we will continue your journey
and do our ultimate best.

Michael believed in God. So much so that his whole life was moulded around the ideals that were Christlike/Godlike. He would mention God numerous times, and 'always' referred to his extraordinary talent as "God-given". Some of us may not believe in God, but Michael did and that is what counts. The God reference in my message, as well as the one in the beautiful poem that Angela shared is something Michael would definitely relate with...Michael knew God better that most religious people of the world ever will...

Please let me share with you one of his most profound thoughts on God-

GOD
</SPAN>
It&#8217;s strange that God doesn&#8217;t mind expressing Himself/Herself in all the religions of the world, </SPAN>
while people still cling to the notion that their way is the only right way.
</SPAN>
Whatever you try to say about God, someone will take offense, even if you say everyone&#8217;s love of God is right for them.
</SPAN>
For me the form God takes is not the most important thing.
</SPAN>
What&#8217;s most important is the essence.
</SPAN>
My songs and dances are outlines for Him to come in and fill.
</SPAN>
I hold out the form.
</SPAN>
She puts in the sweetness.
</SPAN>

I&#8217;ve looked up at the night sky and beheld the stars so intimately close,
</SPAN>
it was as if my grandmother had made them for me.
</SPAN>
"How rich, how sumptuous," I thought.
</SPAN>
In that moment I saw God in His creation.
</SPAN>
I could as easily have seen Her in the beauty of a rainbow, the grace of a deer bounding through a meadow,
</SPAN>
the truth of a father&#8217;s kiss.
</SPAN>
But for me the sweetest contact with God has no form.
</SPAN>
I close my eyes, look within, and enter a deep soft silence.
</SPAN>
The infinity of God&#8217;s creation embraces me. We are one.
