I'm really hoping they announce the DVD as well as the album tonight. I'm soooo excited :woohoo:
 
On May 3rd, 2012, It was announced that the Estate of Michael Jackson and Epic Records (Sony Music Entertainment) will be releasing a 25th anniversary album for Bad this year. They are naming the album 'Bad 25' and will be released in Summer 2012.

Pepsi has also signed an agreement contract with the MJJ Estate to make and sell one billion cans, to promote the upcoming Bad 25, an exclusive global partnership with the estate as part of its new “Live for Now” campaign. This will include a retail campaign, music, live events and opportunities for fans to access special edition merchandise.

I hope they announce it all together but if they don't then they will proba announce the Bad Tour after the albums release, damn it's like being back in July of 1987 hehe.

I read that today on Wikipedia. Pretty misleading cause I believe on May 3 only Pepsi announced its campaign. BAD 25 announcement hasn't came yet.

You're correct which is why wikipedia shouldn't be used as source for anything IMO. It's user generated content and not well regulated. There are regular contributors on there who love blocking accurate mj information because it doesn't suit their agenda.

I would love it if it was a demo of Crack Kills. Or just a video of Michael rapping as a joke. Either or.

I'm honestly hoping for the 'Bad 25' CD first. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for Wembley 1988, but I want some new MJ vocals! I've been waiting since 'Michael' for some new songs! :D

I wonder if they mean these displays will go inside supermarkets to display the Pepsi and advertise for the Bad 25...or do they mean this display will go were CD and DVDs are sold...like retail stores.??? Heck if they mean supermarkets....then I will see Michael on display all day long....hahaha....I am so excited for this ...:D

they say "in-store displays" so inside supermarkets I guess. probably where the Pepsi cans would be.

Thank you Ivy....THIS would be amazing...on my store the soda is displayed in the back of the store...usually when they do an indoor promotion they set the big things up in front of the store so it is the first thing that shoppers see when they walk into the store...for example...a couple of weeks ago freto lay did a promotion for chips...and there display was a huge basketball net with the freto lay bag in the hoop...that was displayed for all to see as they entered the store. i can just imagine if this Pepsi display is displayed in that fashion in front of the store with all the Pepsi cans around it...Thousandsssssssss of people will see Michael....yup.....pretty exciting

It would be very very cheap for SONY and The Estate to release a BAD Tour Live CD - wouldn't it??

all of them would be great :D but I can't live with just a CD and nothing visual, this tour needs to be seen its amazing and I really hope the estate and Sony release it this year for the fans.

If they put a 'Bad 25' commercial out tonight, they'll be starting up the celebration perfectly. I mean, I hope it's not a coincidence that the MJ site starts redirecting to the 'Who's Bad?' link ONE DAY before the Billboard Awards? ;)

Has anyone thought of maybe a petition to Sony & the Estate about releasing the BAD TOURS?
I wonder if it isn't a dumb idea, and if not, how would you do it & do you think it would work?
(the more I read & hear about this possibility, the more excited I get--and it's all your fault everyone (hahahahaha--but srsly now)!

I don't think they will start the campaign without releasing an official statement or press release first.

I know, but just think about it! See a Michael Jackson commercial at the Billboard Awards, check in on the MJ website, and BAM! Official statement! Extremely unlikely, but still.

Have they even announced anything yet officially? I mean...those Bad 25 logos have been around for a while now, but did they come with some kind of info or nothing at all?

Yeah, I mean it wouldn't cost them much. They have the concerts recorded in great quality on film, so they would easily could take the sound and take some audience noise away so we can hear the music and MJ loud and clear. - That would be easy for SONY, and it would not cost them a lot to do. - And I think a live BAD Tour CD would sell great!
