Michael's mom reported missing /Grandma's Home/TJ appointed Co/Guardian with Katherine

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

You are correct Maral, anybody can write a will and leave it to anybody they choose. Some multi-millionare, can't recall his name left all his estate to a charity and not one cent to his children. If there is no will, then that is another issue. Every country has different rules when it comes to that.

People have left all their millions to pets before.

I remember in the late 90s there were stories about how Michael had left his family out of his will, and we now know that was true.

In the late 80s there were stories about how Michael had left most of his money to Bubbles in his will and not his family and that his family were supposedly mad. Would be a nice cherry on the cake of all this ugly bitterness if that will was ever uncovered too.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

Lacienega those stories from the 80s were simple tabloid lies, which plagued Michael a lot during that time. He would never leave all his wealth to an animal when there are so many suffering children all over the world. As a child living with Kaherine, he would look at the suffering children in Africa for example, and be moved by it. He gave millions to charity. He gave away his candy to children as a child. He definitely would consider giving portions of his wealth to charity.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I'm surprised that Katherine admitted that much in her declaration since she is always defending her cubs! And lol @ La toya she made a name bashin her brother and now is working for Oprah a women who clearly doesn't like MJ! Some things never change! And for that I will never give credit to La toya for anything! She is famous for being Infamous and that's it!

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I can't even begin to keep up with this whole mess. I don't know what or who to believe. I just hope the children have some substance of a childhood until Prince turns 18, then I'll be worrying less!

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I bet Janet is saying----Mother had to say what she said in those papers so she could still keep MJs children with her. It's not the truth, it's fiction. She knows we would never do any of those things, but she had to do it.

Janet can scream this from the rooftops, but she is so busted. There is no getting out of this one.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

We have two options here - either Mrs Jackson lied on national tv or she lied to the courts. Neither option is particularly palatable.

I know some people see Katherine Jackson as malleable and easily influenced. I do not. And because she is so busy playing both sides we have ended up with this wildfire of madness.

We have to consider the possibility that Mrs Jackson sacrificed her children's honour and reputations in order to ensure that she can keep giving them money from the estate (by retaining guardianship). Their ruffled feathers will smooth in time.

I hope as a fan community that we never forget this episode in the never-ending Jackson saga, because it has revealed and explained so much. Yes, there are times when we go overboard in criticising this family. But this one time when every invective is truly deserved. They have behaved abominably, under the guise of love and family unity. SHAME ON ALL OF THEM.

Lol at Janet and Randy thanking everyone for their support...these two are so delusional..as well as Jermaine.

I don't think Katherine would have lied in court today because she'd never do or say anything against her kids if it weren't absolutely true...she didn't protect this time and actually put Michael's kids in front of her own. About time. I'd love to see what's going on behind the scenes right now..

Good on Diana Ross :) and atleast those kids have her number now.

any scenario you believe makes Katherine an unreliable source.

If you believe she's not easily influenced than it means she's willingly lying to fit her agenda.

If you believe she's naive and easily manipulated than it means what she says is changing depending on who is around her and have power over her at the moment.

I'm sad to say it but from now on whatever Katherine says will not carry much weight for me.

FoxNews.com

For decades, the extended Jackson family has held an annual “Family Day” usually in the late summer, during which all the relatives reunite, cook, play card games and make an effort to limit the fighting and play nice.
Sources tell Fox411.com that the event was long-scheduled for this Wednesday, and the family fought hard to go ahead with the reunion, but at the last minute, they had no choice but to “postpone.”
“The Jackson’s really pushed hard for Family Day to happen and Katherine was really holding out for it because she wanted things to die down,” an insider told FOX411’s Pop Tarts. “But it got too complicated with certain members being banned from the Calabasas house, although they still wanted to go anyway and thumb it to the estate, but in the end they had to postpone. No new date has been set.”
Despite the hoopla that has surrounded the Jackson family over the last couple of weeks – from mother Katherine being reported as missing and losing her guardianship over Michael’s three children, to several siblings reportedly getting into a altercation requiring police interference at the Calabasas home, to the latest news that several members of the family have been barred from that family home – the famous feuding family still trying to forge ahead with some sort of unity.
There was even talk of the Family Day – which typically draws up to 100 Jackson relatives – going down at Neverland Ranch, although that would require cutting through a significant amount of red tape to ascertain permission. Speaking of the famous sprawling Santa Barbara digs Michael Jackson once called home, we’re also told that MJ’s eldest son, Prince, has for a long time held a strong desire to buy the ranch back outright. But as for Family Day, it is likely that if all goes to plan that the kids will still attend for Katherine’s sake.
“They have gone on occasion before with Michael, and usually stayed close by his side,” continued our source. “But Michael only ever went when he was at a low point.”
But now, it’s the siblings that are trying to cool things off and rise from one of the biggest low points within the Jackson clan.
“The plan they hatched last week clearly backfired and fans have turned against the family. The fan backlash has been devastating, and that bothers them more than any media report or bad publicity,” explained our source.
And given the plethora of tweets that have come out against the family over the past few days, the term “backlash” may just be an understatement.
“The other not as famous Jackson’s are some money hungry idiots,” tweeted one, another said that “watching Michael’s siblings fight, literally, his children for his money is disgusting,” while another called them all a “sad media circus” and another noted that the family “is self-destructing because now that Michael is gone, money is running on empty.”
“They are keenly aware of public perception and now want to put on their best front,” said the insider, adding that Janet has now returned to Atlanta, Tito has gone off to Tokyo to perform with his blues band and that Jermaine “has crawled under a rock for now.”
Incidentally, Jermaine has called for peace within the family, and rescinded his support for the controversial letter alleging that the estate executors were taking advantage of his mother and that MJ’s will was a fraud. It was that letter that reportedly launched the lengthy family saga.
“Mistakes have been made and irrational things have been said on both sides in a highly-charged emotional environment,” he wrote Wednesday in a statement on Twitter. “It is time for us all to draw a line in the sand and move towards peace, co-operation, love and healing. I truly hope that we can find it in our hearts to do so. Because above and beyond anything else, what matters … is family.”
Reps for Katherine Jackson did not respond to a request for comment.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

Lies, lies & more lies.

The mother - either she lied on tv when she said she didn't want to call the children or she lied on her declaration when she says they took her phone & ipad away from her.

The children - either they lied when they say......never mind. The say too many lies.

How can anyone trust any member of the Jackson family? The mother, the children- i don't know about the grandchildren- but they have good teachers. But it's good is happening this way. They're unmasking themselves & now more poeple will know who they really are. And all that for money.

In their quest to get their hands on Michael's money they are alienating the kids and they're failing to realize that the kids are the money. A smart person would have try hard to be on their side, but the Jacksons are not smart. Well, there was one.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I guess Katherine has no qualms about refuting her TV statement for the greater good of her children.

Her children need money, and if she loses guardianship or control over the allowance she will not be able to help them out financially. So I'm really not buying her court statement as one of genuine concern for her grandkids. She only wants control of the finances. She will also ensure that her children and their offspring don't remain barred from the Calabasas house too long.

I find it amusing that she found it necessary to mention Michael's birthday celebration in the statement. See how she works? Next, she will work on removing the ban placed on Randy, Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie.

TJ, even if genuinely concerned for his nephews and niece, will not go against Katherine. Ever.

I wonder if the judge questioned her about the TV statement and the fact it contradicts everything in the court statement? They should have.

Whatever the case, it's obvious Prince, Paris and Blanket love their grandmother very much and don't mind her occasional shenanigans or exploitation of them. Michael was the same way.

I'm glad Diana Ross was kind enough to reach out to the kids.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

All we need now to upend Katherine's little story is for the spa management to declare "of course she had a phone, wireless access AND a working tv!"

If that happens ... lmao

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I remember when Michael died how bad I felt for the family. I think it looked like they were devastated. I remember thinking that I hope the kids stay with Katherine because that is what Michael wanted. I always thought they would try to protect the kids like Michael did.

Now 3 years later, I wish the kids were adults and they could be away from these people and live their own lives and be happy. I don't know what to think of the Jacksons and why I should give them the benefit of the doubt. They just depended on Michael too much and that must have put this huge burden on Michael and pushed him away. I like to think his family did love Michael because he was such a warm, caring and loving person. But their sense of entitlement and need for money and power comes before their love for him. There is something wrong with them. So many times we have thought the family went too far but this time they really did because they hurt Michael's children. We know it and because they said it themselves.

I keep thinking what would Michael think of this if he was here. He would be angry and ashamed of his family. We always say that people and the media should let Michael rest in peace and yet his own family can't do that for him. I think the whole thing is sad and I will never understand people like that.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

That tweeter @longlivetruth was saying in the last tweets about Forest Lawn, as well as people figuring out who she/he was and saying that she'll only stop when all her stuff is returned. And now she's gone! I'm intrigued..

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

About family day: Here they were going to use Michael again--why is one of the reasons why they postpone family day has to do with the banning of some from the house. Were they expecting to have the event at the property Michael's money rented for his mother and children? They could easily call each other on the phone and set up the event. They do not need to assemble in the Calabasas home to make arrangements. Also, they were thinking of Neverland--again using Michael's assets.

I hope they realize that the fan backlash was because the majority of us support Michael's children and not them. If we supported the Jacksons, there would have been sold out venues for the unity tour!!!!!

Thechosenone I believe too that Katherine sold out her children not because they did something wrong, but because money was at stake. My main reason for coming to this conclusion is because there have been incidents of their violent and criminal behavior before, and she always covered it up or denied it. The only person she said negative things about was Michael, and she did so to gain things. Remember on Oprah, Oprah tried to make her say that she preferred Michael the way he looked before the vitiligo, and Katherine finally agreed. Here Oprah implied that Michael changed his skin color intentionally. Katherine wanted to be on Oprah so she said what would make her look good in Oprah's eyes.

From Katherine's tv statement we can see that she will do and say what the children ask her to do, if she does not fathom that the consequence will affect her money. From the court statement we can see that Katherine will sell out her children, if the consequence involves the loss of mega bucks.

Well no family day, but Gary day is coming, so I guess the family can meet up there.

Why La Toya Jackson Stayed Out of the Fight: She Was Making a Deal with Oprah
08/02/12 3:00amRoger Friedman0

Everyone wondered why LaToya Jackson stayed out of the big family fight that included the spiriting of her mother to Arizona, the change of guardianship of her niece and nephews, and public spewing by Randy and Jermaine against Michael Jackson’s executors. Now we know where she was: making a deal with Oprah Winfrey. Variety reports that La Toya has made a deal for a reality show with Oprah’s OWN network. It’s going to be called “Life with La Toya.”
Usually La Toya is all over the news when the Jacksons are feuding, giving an opinion on everything. Not this time. She was unaccountably silent. It’s good to see that because of a financial deal in progress, La Toya showed not one bit of interest in her mother’s whereabouts or Michael’s kids well being. Anyway, still more interesting is La Toya’s “company.”
I’m not sure how she employs half a dozen or so people mentioned on her website. And why someone named Dr. Richard A. Boyd, listed as Chairman of Ja Tail Productions, has no bio and cannot be found anywhere on the internet. I wonder how much of the backstage stuff during this summer’s scandal was already filmed for the reality show, or if the show only came together because of the scandal. In any case, hats off to LaToya for turning lemons into lemonade.

According to TMZ:

KATHERINE JACKSON
Suggests She Was DUPED
Into Arizona TripAccording to TMZ:

Katherine Jackson is strongly suggesting she was tricked into traveling to Tucson last month and BLOCKED from communicating with MJ's children -- this according to a sworn declaration by Katherine herself.

Katherine filed the declaration as part of her bid to obtain co-guardianship over Prince, Paris, and Blanket.

In the docs, Katherine claims she was scheduled to go on a road trip to New Mexico to watch her sons in concert -- but on July 14th, an unnamed doctor showed up to her house and told her it was better for her to take a plane instead.

Katherine says she obliged -- believing the doctor was under the orders of her longtime physician -- but when she got off the plane ... she found herself in Tucson, where her family had set her up at a luxury resort.

When she got to the resort, Katherine says her phone and iPad were taken away -- and her in-room telephone was disconnected. She says her TV was also shut off.

When Katherine asked about the grandchildren, she was told "they were fine" and there was nothing to worry about. She says she did NOT know she had been reported missing and her grandkids were freaking out.

Katherine says, "At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me."

The declaration flies completely in the face of the statement's Katherine previously made in an interview with ABC News, when she called her sudden absence last month a "short vacation."

During the interview, Katherine -- surrounded by Jermaine, Rebbie, and Janet -- said, "One reason I didn't call is I just gave up my phone and I didn't want to have any phone calls while I was here."

Story developing ...

Oh God.... :lmao:  :sigh: :fear:

Katherine you kidding me... right? Ok, you can deceive others with this angel face, but you do not fool me. You're not that innocent. :nono:

Diana Ross Had 'Thoughtful & Pleasant Meeting' With Michael Jackson's Children
By Jen Heger - Radar Assistant Managing Editor

Diana Ross, named as alternate guardian in Michael Jackson's will to his three children, met with Prince, Paris, Blanket, and Katherine Jackson Wednesday at their mansion in Calabasas, Calif. and had a very "thoughtful and pleasant meeting" with them, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Ms. Ross met with Katherine, and the children yesterday. It was a very thoughtful and pleasant meeting. Ms. Ross had no issues with signing off on the proposed new custody agreement," Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Perry Sanders, told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

As we previously reported, Katherine was reinstated as temporary co-guardian of Michael's three children during a brief court hearing on Thursday morning.

Ross "wanted to meet with the children in person, as well as Katherine Jackson, to be sure that this was really the best thing for everyone involved. If Diana needed to step in, she would. Diana just believes that the children are better off with their grandmother and cousin, TJ Jackson, at this point. Diana made sure that all of the children, especially Paris, had her personal cell phone number, so that they could reach her anytime," an insider told us.

"Diana has no qualms whatsoever about the new custody agreement; she only wants what is best for the children. Diana knows that the children are old enough to decide who they want to live with and she defers to what they want. While Diana hasn't been a big part of their lives because she lives on the East Coast, she is very fond of them," a source close to the situation previously told us.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff is expected to formally sign off on the custody agreement on Wednesday, August 22, which will permanently give co-guardianship of the kids to Katherine and TJ Jackson.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I hope Prince buys Neverland. It can't go to anyone else!

I hope that is true and not the source making up a story. If he buys it, he will have frequent calls from Jackson members asking to have reunions, family days, weddings, circuses on the property. From his NO retort to Randy when he told him he had to go in the plane, I guess he can say NO to them when the occasions arise.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I think Prince will give Michael ALOT to be proud of in the coming years. Paris and Blanket too! I think as soon as he turns 18 hell take charge of everything.

This has been her pattern all of her life even when Michael and his brothers were young children. She sold them out for money then and she is doing the same thing now. It scares me that Prince, Paris and Blanket are under her influence.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

I believe that Michael made his children aware of many things about problems with certain family members so he armed them well. These kids are no dummies and hopefully will be strong, confident, caring, intelligent adults who can cope with almost anything. It's only three years before Prince turns 18 and I reckon he will be a force to be reckoned with. Paris is already strong minded and seems to have a lot of Debbie's courage. Blanket, bless him, will have two older siblings to guide him through whatever comes. Their Daddy would be so proud of them.

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

You couldn't make up this stuff even if you tried!
Jackson's would make tons of money if they had careers as scriptwriters.

So Katherine telly was broken, only voice, no picture and one morning she woke up to "hear" from telly the she is being kidnapped.
Did the voice from telly came only once in all 10-11 days, or was the voice on telly working all the time?

If I go to luxury spa and they have broken telly there, and if I ask them to fix it or bring new one, they better do it asap or I take my money some other spa:)

Waiting Miravel to reply K's statement, it cannot be good advertisement for them, if customers ask telly to be fixed, they ignore customers request.

Neverland must never be sold, it must stay within Michael's family (PPB!) as I'm sure the Kids have a fond memory of it, at least Prince and Paris do!
The Estate should definitely buy that 25% share back for the children and then try to restore it.
I'm quite sure that the Kids would be willing to do something out of it, maybe even open it to the public in the future.

I understood it as Katherine asked the people she were with to have it fixed but they never did it. They probably never told the staff the TV were brocken cus Im sure a luxurious spa would have it fixed in a heartbeat since they are usually are customer- oriented.

So she asked Rebbie and other people to fix telly. She stayed there 10-11 days and not once she came across with staff so she could ask directly from them:) When she cave in ABC interview, wasn't one of them staff?

I guess her lawyer made that story up to make her story even a little bit believable, although I don't find it believable at all.
