Al Capone has lived up to the hype and mystery surrounding it for so many years. I can't wait to hear the full version of this song.
Not enough of a snippet to gauge Price Of Fame due to the jocks talking over the track, but from what was played, it sounds good. September 18th can't come soon enough!...more like the 20th for me as that's when I get paid next. lol

Both my girlfriend and I turned into little kids when I played these :bow: Al Capone is a strong contender as being better than Smooth Criminal, in my opinion. I could only hear fifteen seconds or so of Price of Fame (ANNOUNCERS, SHUT UP!), but it's very Billie Jean-esque. Vogel was right!
These tracks so far are incredible. The Estate chose right.

They pretty much are bar final mastering I'd say, much more complete than DBMA!

From the snippets ive heard im pleasantly surprised how complete the songs seem. Much more finished then DBMA.

Price of fame probably reminds you guys of Billie Jean cause it uses his classic chord trick (down a semi tone to perfect cadence in minor key as we musicians call it) at 0:08 sing the be carefull what you do bit of billie jean, you'll notice it fits perfectly, ignore the chord at 0:12. He uses that in a lot of songs, who is it, we've had enough to name but two, it's just a cool chord trick, but because of the emphasis, on the kind of bass driven production, it makes you think of billie jean more than those other two, especially listen to the vocal melody at 0:08. I do love price of fame though, it sounds really awesome, kinda listening to these snippets makes me think maybe Bad could have been an even better album, but a lot of this is probably just the psychology of the snippets being so fresh to us.

DBMA didn't really impress me that much to be honest, but Price Of Fame and Al Capone are incredible!! I fell in love with both of them immediately, I'm so excited for all the demos now! And since I also love the Speed Demon remix BAD25 is going to blow me away.
Oh and BJ Wembley was just as good as one would expect it to be.

Price of Fame sounds a bit like Billie Jean, maybe like a sequel to Billie Jean. And Al Capone is totaly different song than Smooth Criminal, it is not early version or demo of SC, although there are some similarities (like Streetwalker and Dangerous I would say). Just amazing. Can't wait for the official release. It will be big!

LOL, just do it!!! :chillin: I did the whole waiting thing with the Michael album, but no more am I going to torture myself like that. This wasn't really a leak as these snippets were played on a radioshow, so I consider this as part of the promotion and countdown leading up to BAD25. So shamone and listen the snippets already!
