I'm starting to think Wade may have pulled out of the show himself when he realised he wasn't getting it. That would not only save him from the embarrassment of telling people he wasn't chosen to do the CDS show when he spent so much time bragging about it, but he could also add it to the list of opportunities he missed out on due to the "abuse".
Actually, I'll take it even one step further. It would not surprise me if Wade had been planning this long before the CDS show, and he never planned to do the show in the first place. He knew he wouldn't get chosen ahead of Jamie King but the reason he signed up was so he could add it to his list of "opportunities" lost due to the abuse. That would explain why Wade was so confident speaking about it as if he was already chosen to do the show: he knew he would pull out himself before the final decision was taken (saves him from public embarrassment) and he could present this in court and in public as "see, I had this thing in the pocket if it weren't for the abuse". He is that conniving.

I don't understand this. He claims he's had actual knowledge of his alleged abuse since May 8, 2012, but they claim that is within 60 days before the petiotion was filed? It is not.

In addition to what was already posted a couple of pages ago about insight-oriented psychotherapy, I found this interesting info:
It is widely believed that the insight-oriented psychotherapies provide their clients with valid methods of self-exploration that lead to bona fide self-knowledge. It also is widely believed that clients' insights must be true in order to be therapeutically effective. Both these claims are implausible. Good God - reading these court filings, they are full of sooo much nonsense. Proclaiming Wade to be some megastar?! Why did somebody highlight the part about Wade moving to LA two weeks before he was 9 - was that to show the contradiction about what Wade has said in public about "from the age of 7 to the age of 14"? Good work, if that's the case.
This whole thing is so sick, and I'm not sure whether to feel disgusted in Wade or just feel pity for him for being so pathetic. #gtfowtbs

I still can't get over how ridiculous this is. This about sums up his credibility. "Claimant was not aware that the Decedent's estate had been opened for administration until he met with counsel for the very first time on March 4, 2013". Really? REALLY? -_-
Edit: I can't believe I missed the little gem that comes afterward! I'd love to have been there when Wade had his "revelation". I'm sure meeting with his legal advisers to discuss his claims of abuse is just part of the "healing process", not because he had any intention to file a lawsuit :smilerolleyes: Even his lawyer must be rolling his eyes while coming up with this stuff.

Does this make sense to anyone? Wade seems to be claiming two completely opposite things. On the one hand, he felt shame and guilt for what happened to him and he feared he would go to jail if this ever came out. On the other hand, he believed until recently that there was nothing wrong with what happened to him, that it was an expression of love. Why would he feel shame and guilt if he didn't think he or Michael did anything wrong?
Not to mention how absurd it is for a grown man to still believe he would go to jail if he confided in anyone that he was sexually abused. He saw first hand that this is not how it works.

... guys, you have many great, shrewd observations.... so let the MJ Estate lawyers KNOW about them.
They dont have much time to browse MJ boards like MJJC and threads about WR, so we have to let them know about the facts, all the available docs and videos we have, we have to cooperate and be interactive, who else can defend Michael now if not we-the fans.

... guys, you have many great, shrewd observations.... so let the MJ Estate lawyers KNOW about them.
They dont have much time to browse MJ boards like MJJC and threads about WR, so we have to let them know about the facts, all the available docs and videos we have, we have to cooperate and be interactive, who else can defend Michael now if not we-the fans.

A few weeks back we had a post about Robson's cousin talking about shame and guilt. And I said the same thing - you can only feel shame and guilt if you know what you were doing was wrong. The guys needs to find one reason why he was silent about abuse for so long, and stick with it! Sheesh!

He just mad that his MJ connection didn't result in a BIGGER career for himself, especially after MJ died! That's what it sounds like to me. And the blow of not getting that Cirque gig really made him go crazy!

It's the perfect storm, isn't it? Michael encourages a talented kid, tells him to shoot for the moon, and it goes to his head. When things don't turn out the way Wade fantasizes, he has a breakdown. He turns to a form of therapy that encourages him to believe his screwups are the fault of his childhood experiences, and Michael just has to be guilty, because nothing else could explain how the meteoric career trajectory of this budding international superstar, who's talented in so many ways that numbers enough have not been invented to count them all, could have come to such a screeching halt.
