Open General discussion - Katherine Jackson vs AEG

exactly and then Randy said he fired her.. what the hell is Randy doing firing anyone in MJ's staff unless this is around 2004-2005 when he took over MJ's affairs during the trial??

That's my first thought. Randy can't fire Michael's nanny. If it was in 05, the nanny would be with his children. The great Randy to the Rescue again. Panish now trying to do damage control & says everyone knew except AEG, so if the family knew and were not successful with an intervention, as Randy and siblings claim, how do they expect AEG could control what Michel did with his dr, or prevent Michael from having his dr. Panish fails to see that this type of addict will have a difficult time doing a world tour until he is about 70, touring around the world, plus making lots of movies.

Oh I really wish this case had a party that was on Michel's side, but unfortunately both sides is against Michael. I am still wondering how the bodyguards do not recall a group of family members coming about 7 times to have a meeting with Michael.

Crillion that is the thing. AEG puts on witnesses who show drug use that is secret. Panish claims in his opening statement that everyone knew. His experts talk about the 93 rehab, but no witness on either side has said that AEG or the general public knew Michel was taking drugs continuously. In fact, AEG focuses on what Michael's doctors were doing, and those records were not public. Panish has already rested his case and still has not shown evidence for the "AEG should have known" comment in his opening speech.

Michael deserved a better family than that. Im sitting in the subway riht now and have tears in my eyes.
These people deserved to rot in in Gary for the rest of their lives.
I hope and pray to God to get this *******

yeah 7 interventions and Mike La Perreque claims he seen a helicopter with Randy once but there was no interventionist with him. I bet the jury is so confused.. Mike is the only addict in history with a good heart, good liver and good health.

Randy Jackson said his brother was terrified during the run-up to his 2005 child molestation trial in Santa Maria. At one point Randy Jackson said he had to take his brother to a hospital because “he was under the influence of something.”
Guys, is this true? I'm pretty sure that the only time in 2005 MJ was sent to the hospital was due to back problems. The judge even went as far as issuing an arrest warrant.

If the family is the only one who knew then they should've helped him or made it known to the many doctors that MJ had a problem and don't give him medications. WTF?? This family is awful.. I am assuming Mama Kat had no clue about the other 6 interventions because she doesn't like 'bad news'.. and Randy claims things got so bad he had to sit down and write a letter to the family to help MJ.. I guess calling a family crisis meeting to save MJ's life was just too much work, so he just wrote a letter. I swear I hate this family:no:

Yeah I wanted someone to look at what Jermain said in his book about the hospital. I remember that Jermain said they were at the hospital with Micahel and that was the first time he saw the extent of the vitiligo and Michael put his had out and said all he did was help people, and Katherine said "oh Michael." However, I can't remember why they went to the hospital. He was sick anyway, but now Randy claims some drug issue, but he does not know what drug. I think Randy resents Michael. I really do, because I do not know what brother will do something like this.

You know that is a good point about the letter. Now we know that everyone has a phone, so how come he did not simply call and say come over to the house to discuss about an important issue. Who is going to write a letter; make 8 copies; put in 8 envelopes, put 8 stamps on them, & mail them? Does that sound like Randy to you?

Maybe I am too harsh but the 3 times the siblings really tried to talk to Michel about drugs, I feel was done because they felt Michael would tour with them, if the drugs did not get in the way.

By the way no Gary celebration this August? I guess court is more important.

I just thought of something: wasn't it the plaintiffs during cross who brought out the fact that La Perreque never saw any other people come for interventions?

Jessica Stebbins Bina said AEG is calling Randy Jackson via video deposition.

Q- Question (by an attorney)
A- Answer (by Randy Jackson)

That's my first thought. Randy can't fire Michael's nanny. If it was in 05, the nanny would be with his children. The great Randy to the Rescue again. Panish now trying to do damage control & says everyone knew except AEG, so if the family knew and were not successful with an intervention, as Randy and siblings claim, how do they expect AEG could control what Michel did with his dr, or prevent Michael from having his dr. Panish fails to see that this type of addict will have a difficult time doing a world tour until he is about 70, touring around the world, plus making lots of movies.
Very true. Panish is definitely doing damage control. I think the plaintiffs flipflopped their strategy once they realized it was going to back fire. but it was already too late by then. the jacksons had already been deposed.

If MJ had all these issues, how do the plaintiffs expect MJ to perform till the age of 65? and calling KJ "in denial" is certainly not helping her. in fact that pretty much bodes well with AEG, saying she had an "idealized perception of her son".

I just read the deposition and my head is spinning. There is contradiction upon contradiction. One minute it is only an intervention in NV then next time it is 3 states. Then he takes away bottles, but he does not know what drugs? Then he gets an interventionist, but does not know the name? He mentions the internet. He gets a doctor who lives next to him to see Michael.

Does anyone know when Randy was living in Michael's house?

How about this:
It seems it was Grace he is talking about and fired, if that is true.

Q: You mentioned Grace would called but was getting him medication?
A: Yes. A few times I would meet her at the pharmacy
.

I guess this is when they were in the J5???
Q: Did you ever see any signs he was on prescription meds on tour?
A: No.

This shows he knows nothing about his brother since J5 days, and that he does not see him much:
Randy said Michael enjoyed touring.
Q: Why do you say that?
A: Well, because we like to tour, perform.

Then, he says this, which is one of the few good things he said about his brother, although he did not know what his brother was doing:
Q: From 2000 until the time that your brother passed were there periods you believed he didn't problem with prescription drugs?
A: Yes

Here he does not know much about his brother at all:
Randy said his brother didn't drink. "I never seen him drink alcohol."

Then every time they want Michael to do something like a tour and Michael is saying no, suddenly everyone realizes Michael has a drug problem. Look at how he tells on himself below:
Randy said they were concerned about prescription abuse around the time MJ was living at the Carolwood house.
andy: Leonard Rowe was involved very much in the shows and was giving reports to me that he didn't look too good.
Randy: There was a drug issue. He wasn't eating. All of these things were happening at the same time. And, you know, a lot of pressure.

Randy said he and his father tried to call MJ while he lived at Carolwood home. "We were unsuccessful," he said
Randy: No, let me correct that. Initially we were playing on our tour, the brothers tour. There was concern then.

I also think he made up a lie about knowing Michel was having drug problems at the Carolwood house in order to make a connection between Muarry & AEG, since that was the time Muarry was doctoring Micheal. You know the Muarry that AEG hired to pressure and drug Michael. Randy is so transparent. It is so interesting that people were saying they were pressuring Michel to tour with them, and here we have Randy confirming that. Poor Michael.

If he knew Michael had drug problems in that house why didn't he tell him mom, since Katherine said AEG should have called her when Michael looked sick and she would help him.

I think for the sake of MJ, the judge should throw this case out. The man should not be on trial. that's just wrong.

A: Yes

well Katherine claims she was never denied access to MJ and she went to Carolwood to visit MJ a lot of times and she didn't notice he was skinny and frail yet Leonard Rowe called Randy and said MJ wasn't eating and didn't look well yet Katherine was clueless and she saw him more than they did:bugeyed

well Randy just admitted that he, his father and Leonard Rowe wanted to call MJ about the 'brother's tour' even though Leonard Rowe suspects drugs and Mike is too thin and not looking well yet they want to discuss the brothers tour

I agree.

Those interventions were about touring. they were never about drugs. it's obvious his testimony is a bag of lies. There is a reason Panish never called him to the stand.

Glad you see all the lies and contradictions. Katherine shows everything is all right. In fact after Michel died she claimed she saw him at the party and he was well and happy. She files a case and the claim is that he is shaky, afraid, etc. then Randy says he told her Michael had a drug problem, yet she wants AEG to call her when they saw Micheal losing weight. Both Randy and Katherine, needed to sit down and make a plan to stick to the same story. Unfortunately Randy made up part of his story as he went along. I wonder if Frank remembers Randy telling one of them to sleep by Michel and make sure he did not choke? I wish someone could verify some of his testimony, because Randy wants those millions and will say anything.

How about the tourventions!!!

Anyone notices that there is a difference in the content of the deposition he did on November 6 2012 and the one he did on March 26 2013. It is almost as though he changed his strategy, and guess what--it was in the March 26 one, when it was close to trial, that he came up with the story about knowing Michel had drug problems in the Carolwood house. Makes you really think...

yep she's missing in action.. to her calling Randy about MJ's episodes to Paris saying she was getting into bed with Daddy and saying she was his wife.. No wonder she's missing. This is like a made for tv movie.

Yeah. Randy tried to retro fit the hole he left in the first depo. but it was already too late. he figured by claiming that if he, a lay person or non-medical person, can see that MJ had a drug problem all along, then AEG should have known also. That's why he changed his depo.

it's interesting he thought MJ had a drug problem, yet KO who was much closer thought something else. In fact KO thought it was psychological and nutrition related.

Michael deserved a better family than that. Im sitting in the subway riht now and have tears in my eyes.
These people deserved to rot in in Gary for the rest of their lives.
I hope and pray to God to get this *******

*Hug* I hear ya, TwinkLEE and have felt that way for DECADES. I haven't been tuning in to this circus, because I'd just get pissed off and saddened at the same time. I do appreciate the updates in this forum, that they're there if I WANT to 'keep up'. I'm still burnt out over Murray's trial. Poor Michael... :'(

I will give Grace the benefit of the doubt here. Just because Randy is liar. I don't believe a word he says

Is Rebbie still sick? it's been a few days of sickness already. I bet she's thinking: "What am I going to say now?"

3T were very close to MJ and they were grown men during all of these interventions with Randy, why didn't Randy involve them since they were so close to MJ? and Taj claimed he stayed with his uncle for a year at Neverland. Why didn't he see any of this stuff that Randy is claiming???:bugeyed

True. I think the Jacksons approached her to lie about MJ but she probably turned them down. hence the "missing" act.

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit are Katherine, Prince, Paris and Blanket. Any suggestion that there are others behind it is unfounded speculation.

Agreed. I also do not know what Randy’s past has to do with AEG’s culpability either.

Mesereau has never confirmed the family orchestrated this trial for Katherine to pursue in the clip. Randy did not confirm orchestrating this lawsuit via tweets. Randy reached out to Mesereau because he was suspicious of AEG as many others were. Randy and Mesereau offered Panish which still does not make Randy the mastermind behind this trial. Only Katherine could make that decision and she has testified that she made that decision alone. If she had decided to not pursue the trial, we would have no trial regardless of what Randy and her children may have wanted.

AEG had the chance to ask Randy if he did indeed orchestrate this trial. If they did ask, they did not get the answer they were looking for as it was not played in court today. Instead jurors saw Randy discuss Michael’s past issues with substances and he was very detailed that his family, nanny, and it seems a Cascio member, were aware. Where is the secret?

I will say Mesereau agrees with me that if AEG decided to take the risk of allegedly hiring this doctor then, they have to take on the full responsibility, risks, and liability that comes with that. It was a great interview actually. The male interviewing Mesereau seemed to be very supportive of AEG and “blaming the victim” and Mesereau debated those comments quite well.

They all claim to be close. yet they know f-u-c-k all. from the lioness to the curbs. The only people who knew MJ are his kids.

you might want to tell this to T-Mez because apparently he disagrees with you. everyone might want to listen to first few minutes T-Mez talking about Randy wanting all of these to be investigated.

So Tom Mesereau said that Randy was suspicious, he and Randy met with Brian Panish first, and then Katherine met with Panish at Janet's house. Katherine on the other hand testified that she did not discuss this case with her kids before she filed it. So if the kids did not know anything before she filed it, how can they meet the lawyers before she did? How can Randy ask for lawyer recommendations if he did not know anything before Katherine filed the lawsuit?

This is not the first time that T-Mez have said Randy approached him about the lawsuit and he recommended Panish to him.

so who is lying? Katherine or Tom Mesereau?

I cannot belive that TMezz just told to world KJ was lying on stand when she said she didn't talk to cubs before she filed the lawsuit! KJ is going to get some heat from that when she is called to stand by AEG lawyers.

"Randy Jackson says the interventions took place in diverse locations including New York, Las Vegas, Jackson’s Neverland Ranch and Taiwan and dated back to the mid-1990s."

Taiwan too? Wasn't that the time when Joe and KJ went there but MJ didn't want to see them?

“Michael didn’t want to be around the family too much because he didn’t want them to see him like that,” Randy Jackson said. “He was hiding from me.”

I think MJ was hiding because Randy is officially off his rockers. Didn't he threated MJ at one occasion and MJ told he was scared of Randy?

"He said most of the interventions were attended by his sisters Rebbie and Janet and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, and his father, Joe Jackson. But he said his mother only came along once or twice. He said she was unwilling to accept that Michael was addicted and he felt “she was in denial. She just didn’t want to believe.”"

If Randy is to be believed, who in their right mind takes Joe Jackson to stage intervention?

"Randy Jackson said his brother was terrified during the run-up to his 2005 child molestation trial in Santa Maria. At one point Randy Jackson said he had to take his brother to a hospital because “he was under the influence of something.”
He said he had no idea what drugs Jackson was taking.
“He was very frightened, and I had to get him to court,” Randy Jackson said.

Hmm, when TMezz was interviewed, he said he never saw MJ under the influence?
