Speaking of the previews...I do remember on That Bad25th was released on 18th Sept and we had a 30 sec previews of all songs on Amazon exactly on 11th Sept...Why i am so sure ?? cause i still keep these preview files :D :D

So Maximum we are getting the previews at beginning of May, or may be lucky enough and get them earlier than that (but not so early may be End of April at least)

And good find about STTR artwork Pic :D

Even though I know all the leaked songs, I won't listen to the versions on the album until I got it in my hands :) Exception is single release or if they use it in official trailers/commercials.

Amen to that! :lol: I don't even care about the remixes. I'll certainly give them a listen, but I'm more interested in the originals. To me, those are the only ones that matter.

Reading between the lines, he a bit p**ssed that some people criticised Bad25 (not me, I loved it), so he want's to downgrade this release.

I could be wrong.

a) The originals are being provided and every review has mentioned the fact that these tracks were finished after Michael's death.

b) Mozart's Requiem Mass in D Minor was left incomplete in wake of his death and countless musicologists have completed the piece through their own interpretations. This is common practice. The industry of art restoration is vast and varied. If these hypothetical original Michael Angelo pieces were placed along side their reworked completions, I'd think the idea was rather neat :)

Im listening to Disc 1. (FUNFACT: There isn't a disc 2 I believe, its all on one CD)

There more than likely isn't going to be a disc two. After all, the estate can easily fit sixteen songs on a single disc, assuming they're all not overly long. (Something in me is suggesting that the bonus track + two videos are iTunes only.) Unless it was officially reported that there would be a second disc?

In any case, I'm actually more interested in the remixes than the originals. I know how LNFSG sounds, as well as APWNN, Blue Gangsta and Xscape. I'm listening to the album in order from top to bottom.

Yes, but to my knowledge he didn't have to give them a new song for it. And even if he did, I know for a fact that he wasn't contracted to film a music video.

the 17 songs will fit on one disc, hence why Xscape (Jerkins 2014) is 3:27. I tested it yesterday and if you cut out the demo intro, most of the end and some junk inbetween you can cut Xscape to 3:27 and still maintain all verses and chorus's minus ending adlibs.

How do you know that? Did they cut half of the song?

I hate that. I don't like short songs. I thought that the songs will be 7-8 minutes long with great music like 20/20 Experience. It is stupid thing to cut songs just to fit on 1 CD. They should have made double CD with full length songs.

oh man I was hoping we'd get to hear that Christmas song one day. I didn't know it wasn't finished though. you know what I don't care that it's not finished. lol. I want to hear that song.

I also always wanted Michael to record a Christmas solo album. I'm sad that, that never happened.

the demo that leaked is 3 minutes 17! it's possible they added a 10 second intro or something similar..

Michael always wanted to be on top, he always wanted to have modern sound. He would never release Escape 2002 mix in 2014. Just like he thought Dangerous early version was not current enough so he gave it to Teddy Riley to make the new version.

Slave to the rhythm, he worked on that song with Kenneth Edmonds & Michael Jackson in 1989. Maybe some other song's too, but that's the most popular known title as of now

For me this is key. I totally get your point MyLovelyOne - I am also only really interested in MJ's untouched work and think that this is what will stand the test of time (as part of his musical canon). But a fundamental difference compared with the 'Michael' album is that we now get all the original tracks and, importantly, that they do not make it seem as if the 'reworked' cuts are originals. In the case of the 'Michael' album their marketing suggested that it was 'the album MJ would have completed had he lived' (remember how they said he left a 'road map'), which was of course nonsense. Thankfully it is now made clear that this is not the case. For me it would be ideal if the original tracks were the primary focus (so switched with the reworked versions), but in general I think this is the best we could have hoped for at this moment...

Could you please tell us how you came to that info, Xscape being 3:27 ???

I would not like that. Half of the song would gone.

If this is true, i hope for the original version to be the complete 5:51.
CAN NOT MISS ONE SECOND OF THIS GEM!

Wait wait...Damien said in the article that xscape will be the 1st single , so if that true those 3:27 can be a radio edit :D :D Wait until billy tell us his source....
