Well, I'd assume the figure came from somewhere.
Considering he's claiming he wants money for the 7 years of trauma AND the superstar career he was destined to have otherwise, I'd say $1.62 billion would amount to how big Wade's ego seems to be.

That's the same news site which reported about that supposed "court date" last year when we were waiting to hear what had happened to the case. Seemed to be a leak from Wade's side to make it look like their case was working.

^^ Last time that Australian paper DID get the news first about a court date, with the correct date, except they referred to it as a "trial", instead of just another hearing.
I'm just saying they did seem to have advance hearing about Wade's case previously.

Safechuck's allegations sound like a compilation of every tabloid crap that has been thrown at MJ over the years. They just sound so over the top, so crazy that it would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic that he is trashing an innocent man who is not able to defend himself any more.
Holding hands now becomes a way of giving signals about wanting to have sex. I don't even understand the purpose of that because you won't have sex with someone publicly. And when you are not in public any more why don't you just tell him you want to have sex? It's like they try to give everything a sinister twist now.
We know that both men claim that they were not aware of the wrongfulness of all this until recently. But having a mock wedding with the guy would not be still something you would mention to prosecutors when they interview you? Regradless of whether you think that was wrong or not? And when James was 27 years old during the trial in 2005 he still was not aware that having a mock wedding between him and Michael would be a bit iffy considering the nature of allegations against him? Or watching child porn? And how come that MJ had child porn movies, openly watched it with kids but never any such thing was found in his possession, even though his house was searched both in 1993 and 2003? And BTW, we have heard Gavin claim MJ showed regular adult porn to him, but this is the first time someone actually makes the claim of having watched child porn with him. So once again a new element that just makes MJ look like the most inconsistent and patternless "child molester" ever.

I'm sure you are right. I suspect the 'duck butter' thing is simply a play on words...a bit of a joke which has been turned into an accusation of 'being told to use code words'. Smen is indeed a Moroccan word for butter. I imagine that non -Moroccan lads might find that amusing?

I think it has all to do with Evan Chandler's fantasy and Safechuck taking a leaf out of the Chandler allegations while constructing his story to try to make it look like there is a "pattern". But while they are trying to create "patterns" on one side they do not realize how they destroy them on the other side. Eg. the whole child porn thing. No one else ever claimed this. So why was James the only one out of all these alleged victims with whom MJ watched child porn? Why were James and Gavin the only alleged victims MJ gave alcohol to? Why not to Jordan, Wade and Jason? Why did he want to marry James but never any other child? (Jordan will be disappointed to read this and learn he wasn't the big love of MJ after all...) Etc. etc.
It really does seem like they throw everything but the kitchen sink. Every tabloid story that they have ever seen about MJ.

IMO Beckloff should have sealed this graphic mess for the sake of the children and just the decency of it--these are disgustingly detailed allegations and the media is on it now, thanks to Beckloff.

It wasn't a mock wedding. It was a real wedding with a ring and a certificate and everything. Probably cake and confetti too. Bit odd it seems to have slipped jimmy's mind for 20odd years as you'd think a day like that would make a bit of an impression - maybe he was unable and unwilling to acknowledge it. I'm sure he'll be able to dig out the photo album and show the photos of the happy couple to the judge.
I'm sure that will add another $1bn to wade's claim - why didn't i get a ring?

Well isn't that interesting! The things Safechuck has come out with are utterly ridiculous! It would be funny if it wasn't so sick, I really hope non fans will be able to see how stupid these claims are. Wade and James are claiming things that are so different to what others are saying, they've really sensationalized their stories and in a way I think it's good, it's all so out there that it will likely cause people to stop and think about it for a bit. I think people would have to be pretty damn gullible to swallow this crap!
I'm very happy to hear the estate isn't interested in settling, the stories these two have are just too easy to poke holes in so it would have been crazy to even think of settling anyway. I was awake in the middle of the night last night and had a lot of trouble getting back to sleep because I was raging at Wade. I'm anticipating more media crap and negative comments from the public, having to yet again defend MJ to people I know who might start firing questions. I'm in a social motorcycle riding club which usually meet on Saturday mornings and I worry that one of the men there will start talking about it. I can be calm and rational online but if a bunch of people went at me about it at the same time I worry I'll explode.
I already have trouble with people not taking me seriously because I'm a young woman, society still hasn't quite got past thinking being a young woman means you don't know anything, then in a case like this you can easily be viewed as being a cold hearted bitch speaking against liars that people think are telling the truth so people look down at their noses at you for being someone they think is being horrible to sexual abuse victims. Trouble is, sometimes even people who know you won't be interested in listening to what you have to say or any of the facts that explain why you don't believe any of this shit. I really wish it were easier to get people to listen and understand, but people let their emotions get the better of them.
