Yes of course, these are in fact my top 10 LEAST played songs on my phone (Start to Finish). So yeah it was a joke, sorry!

Very unfair to put You Are My Life in with that lot though. His last truly honest song.
 
FD1988 already submitted his votes earlier, so of course this was a joke. However, let me warn that no inclusion of the Cascio tracks will be accepted. For real. I know this may come across as discriminatory for those few who still believe in their authenticity, but IMO it's shameful enough that fake songs are included in MJ's official catalog, no need to add to the insult and place them above the real masterpieces of MJ.

True, I haven't really spent time listening to it properly, so I'd probably replace that song with something else.
 
Man this is going to be VERY hard, my top 10 changes all the time, also I have to do two songs on the number 1 spot, since it's a duet, since there are two songs I really enjoy now and I cannot choose between them, hope it's not a problem.

Wow-I thought this would be hard-but not this hard. I tried to think of songs that I really, really love and could listen to any time, any day, all day and all night-and just wrote about 40 off the top of my head. Then when I was trying to whittle my list-I got it in first group, second group, etc. and realized I had LEFT OFF 'BILLIE JEAN' on all groups!! How could I do that-my very favorite song. Sacrilege.

Sorry for putting 20, I'm not even sure about the ones in here. I've left so many AMAZING songs out (Workin' Day and Night, Beat It, The Way You Make Me Feel, Give In To Me, Tabloid Junkie, You Rock My World). I love 99% of everything he's ever done. I haven't included any demos, outtakes or J5/Jacksons material because I love all his released solo work. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Sorry Mike I appreciate everything you've ever done.

I am suprised to see Someone Put Your Hand Out in the top 20 (it doesn't deserve to be there imo).


Three things which depress me... not one single pre-OTW track in the top 20, no sign of Morphine and not one single Invincible cut - not even Speechless. There's no way SPYHO deserves to be in this list over songs like Speechless, Butterflies, YRMW, Whatever Happens, Morphine, Push Me Away, You Are There, One Day In Your Life, To Make My Father Proud, Little Susie, We've Had Enough, Get On The Floor, Walk Right Now etc.

As a comparation let me show the end result of the poll I mentioned in the OP. It was done on a Central European MJ fan forum a couple of years ago. So it's not an "international taste", but an Esatern European taste if you will. There are some interesting similarities - songs that do well on both lists and there are also some interesting differences. So here is the Top 20 from that initial poll:

I love it really. - One of the best melodies ever. So sad that a more complete version does not exist. (as far as we know anyway)

It's just an album I created myself - and the songs that has already been released are not the album versions.
 
Who Is It and Billie Jean are very popular from the results get given. Both give a very good story.

Nope. I know I seem to be the only one of the planet that doesn't like this song (my 60-yr old dad even has it as his ringtone), but it's the one big Michael Jackson hit I truly don't care for at all.
