Some info on the Chandlers

I'm not sure if that info is correct. I remember hearing about it and I think there is some confusion about it due to some incorrect info about it on the web. Acc. to IMDB it appears to be THE June Chandler as well, because her bio says things from THE June Chandler's bio but such websites can contain incorrect info due to incorrect info added by people: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0151411/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t24

Back in the day I remember going after this info and I can't remember now why but IIRC I concluded eventually that it was another June Chandler and there's a lot of incorrect info on the net about it, linking her to the June Chandler we know. Here is an actress called June Chandler, IIRC I concluded it was her: http://www.junechandler.com/actors_image.html

Thank you for clarifying this. I wasn't entirely sure about it myself because I know IMDB can be edited like Wikipedia can, but I thought it had more restrictions than Wikipedia so I thought maybe it could have been legit. Should've looked into it more before I posted, but I get very nervous when Googling Michael or anyone that is connected to him in some way.

At least I know I can watch Scrooged again, heh.

I mentioned in the Robson thread I have been reading some extracts from Cascio's book last weekend and there was another story that I took note of because I remembered how in their book the Chandlers tried to change a story about MJ showing Jordan karate kicks in a hotel room and while doing so breaking a lamp to MJ throwing a temper tantrum because June's brother found out that he and Jordan slept in the same bed. Here is the story from the Chandler book:

"By the way," Dave interjected, "the police called me today: They wanted to talk to Kelly about the time in the hotel in New York, when Michael broke the lamp in front of Kelly and Jordie. He had a temper tantrum."
Larry's evidence-gathering ears perked up. "In New York? In a hotel?"
June related the story of how one night, when she returned to the hotel after an evening out with some old friends, she found two lamps shattered on the floor and the rest of the room trashed. Jordie and Michael told her Michael had been practicing karate kicks and got carried away.
But when June went to check on Kelly, who had been lying awake in bed in the adjoining room, the little girl told her mother that Michael had lost his temper and was yelling at Jordie and breaking things. Yet the next morning, after a little rehearsing from Michael and Jordie, Kelly changed her story and corroborated Michael's.
It wasn't until months later, after the molestation became public, that Jordie told his mother the truth. As it turned out, Kelly's original account was correct. While June was out, Michael became enraged when he learned that June's brother, a New Yorker who had come to visit at the hotel, found out that Michael and Jordie were sleeping together.
"That's what pisses me off most," Evan explained. "More important than e sex was the brainwashing. This kid had been changed so much that nobody really knew anything about him anymore. Michael was so slick he made Jordie slick. He fooled us all."

Actually I remember the broken lamp was brought up at the trial in 2005 too as the prosecution too tried to make a big deal of it.

Now, what is more likely? MJ (who was non-confrontational to a fault) throwing a temper tantrum and breaking things in front of kids or him indeed showing some karate kicks? Well, in Cascio's book we can see how big of a fan of Bruce Lee he was and it seemed to be his habit of mimicking him.

As we watched the Bruce Lee movie Enter the Dragon, Michael got up and began mimicking Bruce Lee’s karate movements. He talked to us about every detail of the film—commenting on technical details about specific shots and explaining exactly what it was he worshipped about Bruce Lee. Through the years I would see Michael studying any number of great showmen: from Bruce Lee and Charlie Chaplin to James Brown, Frank Sinatra, Jackie Wilson, the Three Stooges, and Sammy Davis Jr. As he was doing now with Bruce Lee, Michael had a unique gift for incorporating the tricks of his heroes into his dancing. The hat, the glove, the walk—he got all that from Charlie Chaplin. There’s one move that he used when he performed “Billie Jean,” where he slid his neck forward and sideways, then bent over and did a strange walk—he got that from watching the movements of the Tyrannosaurus rex in the movie Jurassic Park. As the movie ended, Michael said, “Bruce Lee was the master. There will never be anybody like him. Whatever you do, you should master your craft. Be the best at it.”

Cascio then goes on to describe Michael trashing a hotel room with them - but it wasn't because of any kind of temper tantrum either:

The next stop of the tour was Istanbul, Turkey, where we stayed in a huge, beautiful hotel suite. Whenever Eddie and I had been with Michael, we had always been playful, tossing pillows around and stuff like that, but on this particular day Michael suddenly got an impish glimmer in his eyes and announced, almost in a whisper, “Let’s trash the hotel room.”

That seemed like an excellent idea, so together with Michael, before we left Istanbul, Eddie and I wreaked havoc on the hotel room. We moved couches across the room, leaving them at odd angles. We tilted the pictures so they hung crooked on the walls. We scattered rose petals all over the floor. As far as trashing hotel rooms went, we weren’t what anyone would call masters of our craft. As his coup de grâce, Michael hauled back and threw a fork into a painting.

So trashing a room or showing karate kicks was nothing but usual MJ having fun. It's another little example of how the Chanders in the hindsight twisted and changed stories to fit their agenda.

And of course, Wade does the same. Eg. taking MJ's motivating of kids to "be the best" and incorporating it into his molestation narrative and claiming that it was somehow brainwashing for molestation. SMH.

The story from the Chandler's perspective sounds pretty hyped up and of course they provide nothing to prove their account, it's all hearsay. It's also pretty ironic for them to complain about coaching people about what to say. How hypocritical!

Mez caught June Chandler in the biggest lie on the stand about that lamp. He goes can you tell us about the lamp. June goes she was told by Lily that Michael broke the lamp. The implication being Michael got Lily to lie about the why the lamp was broken. Then he says actually Michael told you he broke the lamp right? Then she goes I don’t recall. He pulls out the story she told the cops in 93. Such a bitch

Oops! LOL!!!

Evan and Jordan are beyond evil, they deserve each other apparently.

Evan was the evil one
I belive Jordan was pawn in Evans plan
But it would be great if jordie came out and spoke the truth

It would be but I think he's too much of a coward. Another thing that frustrates me about Jordan is that he hasn't tried to set things straight. He was heavily manipulated by his father but he's not a kid anymore and hasn't been for a long time. His father is dead now so he can't still have any hold over him.

He's much of a coward than a man anyways. If his freaking father would stop haunting him for life he would confess to the whole world right now.

It could be his mother, too, though. They gave her money too, didn't they? Even if they didn't, they accepted it on behalf of Jordan. It would really make her look bad.
Of course, she could always claim brainwashing by Evan (like LaToya did with her husband). Jordan finally telling the truth is really the only thing that will ever make this right.

I believe so too. He really is the main one on whom all the others build their stories. Just look at Robson and Safechuck now! Safechuck took elements from the Chandler story verbatim! ("Duck butter") And Robson's lawyer desperately asked the court to allow them to drag the Chandler case into it. They know his own case is weak and hope that they could use Chandler to boost it. This is always all goes back to Jordan as the main source of this rotten cycle. He is the example all the others follow. If he finally did the right thing that would be a big blow to Robson/Safechuck.

This is not a fact, just an internet rumour I heard, but I once heard that there was a time after the trial where Jordan was about to confess the truth (and supposedly this is why Evan almost killed him), but then he met his mother again and she talked him out of it. I have no idea, if it's true or not. I don't know how anyone would know this, so it rather sounds like just fan speculation, but who knows.

Oh, wow-I hadn't heard that. I knew there was a fight and a restraining order, but not the rest. I just thought in the original settlement, there was also some payment to Evan and June. But not sure about that. And then of course, they would have to sign off on the settlement for Jordan, since he was a minor-

All of these stories do come from the Chandler stuff, including the Arvizo ones. That's another thing that makes me so mad-it is so EASY for Robson and Safechuck to make up stories, even using Michael's exact words (for example, achieving greatness) because we've all heard him say this stuff. We could ALL MAKE UP atrocious stories, if we wanted.
It just flat out should have been thrown out from the get-go.

Well rumour or no, he's had a lot of time since then to come forward, but hasn't. I doubt he ever will, so much time has gone by and I suppose it gets harder to tell the truth over the years. I wish someone would "out" him. Catch him on video admitting it or anything that calls them out. Wishful thinking I know....
Just can't stand that their living the good life off Michael's money based on a lie, while Michael was the one who was harmed and had to suffer.

I really don't want it to be taken as a fact, because as I said it's just a rumour and could be just fan myth. What is fact is that Evan did attack and almost kill Jordan in 2005, only a couple of weeks after MJ's aquittal. And Jordan asked for a restraining order against Evan, but while he asked for a permanent one he was only granted a temporary one. Also we have seen court docs showing that Evan sued Jordan a couple of weeks later wanting access to Jordan's trust (ie. the money he got from Michael). So for all we know, the attack too could have been about an argument about the money.

I just thought in the original settlement, there was also some payment to Evan and June. But not sure about that. And then of course, they would have to sign off on the settlement for Jordan, since he was a minor-

Yes, there was. I think both Evan and June got $1.5 million each. It seems though that for Evan it was not enough (see above). I think the fact that both Evan and June got money was something that MJ's side would have wanted too for tactical reasons - ie. if they got money then they too are binded by the Settlement Agreement, including the Confidentiality Agreement in it. In other words that way Evan and June could not run to tabloids selling stories. It's another thing that Evan did get around that anyway with the help of his brother, Ray Chandler (who was not binded by the settlement) who published a book basically telling Evan's story. As soon as they signed the settlement they were looking for ways to publish the book. Publisher Judith Regan:

“I received a call from Jordan’s uncle. He wanted to do a book in which he would describe in detail the allegation of molestation against Michael Jackson. So I asked him how he proposed to do this given the fact that the Chandlers had actually signed a confidentiality agreement and taken $20mln. And he said that Jordan’s father had given him all the information he needed for the book and he believed he was outside the bounds of the Confidentiality agreement because he would be the author. At the time I had the impression that the Chandlers were brazen opportunists and I found the entire proposal by the uncle to be distasteful. They enter a Confidentiality agreement and before the ink is even dry they are shopping a deal that violates this agreement?”

What Judith Regan says here was admitted by Ray himself in the 2004 motions where he fought off a subpoena by Michael's legal team:

That Ray Chandler was indeed shopping a book “within days” after the settlement was signed, is confirmed by none other than Ray Chandler himself in a Motion he filed with the Santa Barbara Court on October 25, 2004.In support of his argument that he should be protected by the Shield Law Ray Chandler disclosed in that Motion ([7]; page 8):
“Within days after Jordan Chandler’s civil lawsuit against Michael Jackson was settled in January, 1994, Raymond Chandler traveled to New York City to seek a publisher for the purpose of putting the information he had gathered in the form of a non-fiction book for dissemination to the public. Such intent on the part of Raymond Chandler is evidenced by an article that appeared in the New York Post revealing his contact with a publisher one day after it occurred.” [7]

I have a copy of that motion and its an interesting read. Must have driven Evan crazy (more than he already was) that after starting the whole mess with the allegations he couldn't gain access to the money he really wanted. And never did.
Does anyone know if there's a free copy of Ray's book online anywhere? I'm curious to read it but don't want to give Chandler the satisfaction of paying for it.

Check your PM.

Can we be sure that he actually said those things? Don't get me wrong, l saw some statements of some people who went to college with him and pictures of a friend of his dressed as Michael, and etcetera... but can somebody post all those things here?

Just saw this new thread but I did not want to go off topic there: http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/t...-at-Museum-of-San-Fernando-Valley-16-May-2015

...so I am writing this here. It's funny that that book came up here, because I have seen this a long time ago. Where? On the Facebook of Jordan Chandler's "step father" (not David Schwartz, but the guy who married Nathalie Chandler after Evan - he is on good terms with Jordan). Apparently he knows the author and he does not seem to have a problem with having this book prominently featured among his favourite books with MJ's pic on the cover on his FB. How come that you would "like" and promote such a book if the guy on the cover abused your step-son?
The book is not about MJ only but it has many celebrity photos as the author is a photographer. It's a photo book. But they put Michael on the cover.

I don't hate Jordan. He was coerced into saying things when he was very, very young.

13 is not very very young.
13 year old humans know how to lie, how to cheat, how to beat up others, how to bully how to torture how to kill.
13 year old humans can be full of shit as much as a 40 year old.
In fact 13 year old Gavin Arvizo was 100 times more corrupted than 45 year old Michael Jackson.

Jordan Chandler knew very well what he was doing. He knew that he won't have to work for a day for the rest of his life if he goes through with his father's plan.
He is a piece of shit just like his scumbag father.

I took a look at Jimmy Steinfeldt's facebook page and yeah..Michael is prominently displayed. Even features in several posts he made. Interesting for sure.

As for Jordan being a naive kid, he knew the allegations were lies and didn't say anything then or when he was living with Nathalie. Years later still didn't say anything during the trial (refused to testify when approached) when he was an adult and still says nothing today. Gavin lied in the JC Penny suit when he was younger than 13. It's my understanding that Jordan has never had to answer questions under oath, just keeps enjoying that money.

I've seen a Facebook profile with the Jordan Chandler name and it displays a picture of him at 13 with Michael. Not sure if it's really Jordan's actual profile, but if it is,it's very disgusting. Even worse that I have mutual friends with him.

I did incredibly stupid and foolish things when I was 13. A 13 year old is a baby, and can't make adult decisions.

While a 13-year-old cannot make SOME adult decisions, a 13-year-old very well understands what is a lie. Of course, a 13-year-old can be under bad influence to tell a lie which is what happened to Jordan, but like said before in this thread he is an adult since 1998 and everything since then - ie. his silence and lack of telling the truth publicly - is all on him now. No excuses for that, sorry.
