SAD video leak

Just discovered a new (to me at least) footage of Michael from his rehearsals when he found out about the accusations about child molestation. It breaks my heart to see how devastaded he looks, and I can almost feel the storm of feelings inside of him. I absolutely HATE that people made him go through that! To see him hurt like that...

Re: SAD video leak

:0 OMG :(

Ok something strange is going on why are all these leaked videos coming out now & who is leaking them????

Re: SAD video leak

I'm not sure he's crying, he probably has a migraine or something.

Re: SAD video leak

Crying or migraine, it's uncomfortable to watch and not enjoyable. I won't be watching it again.

Re: SAD video leak

Since this was at the eve of when the Chandler allegations broke it is safe to say he was in severe emotional pain because of that. Whether he is crying or has a migrane or both is besides the point.

Re: SAD video leak

You can tell he's really devastated. This doesn't look like a guilty man who's just been caught. This looks like an innocent, heartbroken person who is shocked that someone would accuse him of something so horrible.

It really puts the whole speaking the lyrics into perspective doesn't it?

One of his most uptempo, light hearted feel good songs. With that on your mind.

Some man.

I'm surprised that Michael even went on tour after this. I think that the whole 93 leg of the Dangerous tour should have been cancelled

It may also be from scalp surgeries he had at the time. A balloon procedure. That also happened at the time. I didn't watch the footage.. just saying.

Well, he had to. He had a contract with promoters. I'm sure he didn't want to go. But you saw what happened later with the cancellation of the remaining of the tour. More legal and money problems. Just like This Is It Tour cancellation.

Typical. A persons health and well being is not important, but what is important is $$$$$$$$$

It makes me sick

Why can't it be both? If the date is correct on the tape then yes, he already knew what was coming re. allegations. Do you think he just shook that off as if it was nothing and it was all just about a scalp surgery?

I am sure emotional problems can have an effect on one's physical well-being including the strengthening of otherwise existing physical problems.

I am not sure why some of his fans are so dismissive of the effects of the allagetions on his emotional and physical well-being. No one shakes something like that off. It DOES have an effect on you. It's no rocket science.

Didn't have time to watch the footage yet. Of course it can be both. I just added the possibility of scalp surgery pain. I don't know the dates as good as you do so I don't know what happened when exactly and in which order. I agree with everything you wrote, don't get me wrong.

To re-iterate what Respect is saying.... Imagine being in a position where you have been around children for a large part of your life doing charity work and generally doing extraordinary things for ordinary children.

Now imagine someone has gone and said that you had sexually molested a child.

Now imagine having to go to work.

There are many ways to handle something like this and Michael did it with complete class by going on tour and trying to fulfill all his prior commitments.

He always said that he felt at home on stage, but I dont think singing a Motown Medley and creating a mass singalong is ever going to erase the fact that you have been accused and being investigated for quite possibly the worst thing on earth you can do.

^Having these types of false allegations made against you would be hard to handle for anyone, but with the stress he was under to still deliver for this tour and knowing it was going to make headlines around the world..? I can't even imagine how he must've felt
Whether that's what we see in this footage or not, there's no doubt he was enduring some serious emotional pain at the time. I'm sure he was in physical pain here as well, but the way he broke down at the end and the woman comforting him like that, it looks like he's emotional to me.. Whatever was going on here, it hurts to see him like this :(

It was more likely both. I could watch the whole rehearsal tape and you can hear around minute 19 before Will You Be There starts saying, "Debbie, I'm in pain!"

I was mesmerized how beautiful his live vocals were wishing Mexico was like that but putting things into perspective, it deeply hurts me to see him suffering like that. I know Michael had a contract to fulfill but it was irresponsible and heartless of his management and promoters to put a priority of making money over his physical and emotional well being.

Exactly. Of all the horrible things that had been written and said about Michael up to that point, this one literally knocked me off my feet. I thought about him all the time, hurt for him, cried for him and now seeing it for real is worse than ever.

Maybe Michael thought it would be better to get away from it and just concentrate on what he loved, but in hindsight it was a horrible decision. He was already home, he could have stayed and properly recovered from the scalp surgery and properly fought the allegations, instead of leaving it to others.

Michael was also taught from a very young age that he should always get on stage and put on a brave face. Regardless of what was going on in his personal life.

But whatever the reason. The 93 leg of the tour never should have happened

Jordan father had this all setup plain and simple he knew what he was doing his plan was not to return Jordan back to June yet and that the part that get me. And another thing Michael lawyers want to settle this out of court that why their told Michael he must move on how can you say that to a person who had false allegations brought against him by settling to the world Michael was guilty even those by settling their said Michael was not saying he was guilty we as the fans know that but to the world it was totally difference and that to me is the sad part. Michael should have had at least a chance to clear his name but we know that never happen.

Super Star or not if somebody is lying on you you want to clear your name you want to set the record straight and imo Michael did not get that chance and it cost him because it brought along another person to do the same thing. Even those Michael was found not guilty in 2005 it did not matter because 93 in the ppls minds Michael Jackson was guilty end of story.

A lot of that decision came because the judge allowed the civil trial before charges were even brought. A clear violation of civil rights.

They should have thought it through better and appealed, demanded a new judge, whatever the hell they could do.

This is what get me Michael was not charge yet and it was wrong for the civil trial to go on first.

I look at the video again to make sure i was seeing the same thing and i saw Michael head down and their were rub his back and right there i felt Michael pain the man was going through pure hell. I did not notice it at first but Michael had stop saying the words to the song/

Do these lawyers know what their would doing to Michael when their told him to settle to me Michael went down hill after that so health was not important to them.

This kind of reminds me of what Evan said on the Schwartz tape on July 8:

MR. CHANDLER: […] By the way, they’re going on tour on August 15th. They’re going to be gone. They’re going to be out of the country –
MR. SCHWARTZ: Yeah.

MR. CHANDLER: — for four months.
MR. SCHWARTZ: Is that bad?

MR. CHANDLER: Well, I’m not going to be able to communicate with them about this when they’re gone, am I?
MR. SCHWARTZ: I mean, but you think that –

MR. CHANDLER: By the way, they’re not going.

MR. SCHWARTZ: Yeah.
MR. CHANDLER: They don’t know that yet, but they are not going.

MR. SCHWARTZ: Yeah.
MR. CHANDLER: So, I mean, especially if they don’t show up tomorrow, they’re definitely not going. They’ll be lucky if Michael even –
MR. SCHWARTZ: Let me ask you — let me ask you this –

MR. CHANDLER: — tour (inaudible) get canceled.

Remember: this was BEFORE Jordan allegedly "confessed" to his father to have allegedly been molested. How convenient that alleged "confession" was to Evan, right?
