Latest on MJJC

Dangerous 25 is NOT happening.

The thread's title is just an assumption of your own opinion.
So far no one knows anything. All I read are speculations but the truth is that we are all clueless.
So why don't we just be patient and wait from a confirmation of the estate?

Did you read the first post at all? There's a link to their twitter where it says what they are going to do. Its an online celebration, nothing more. That's their confirmation, there's nothing to wait for
 
The only thing I take issue with is that they are misleading others by calling it "Dangerous 25". There was a "Bad 25", which was a box full of CDs, booklets, a concert DVD; why wouldn't casual and hardcore fans alike be mislead into thinking that "Dangerous 25" will be a physical release?

I don't have a problem with this celebration tbh, hopefully a concert and/or songs are released, even if they are just digital releases.
 
Maybe The Estate will finally release Man In Black during this online celebration. :rollin: Yeah right!

Hopefully it's like a daily thing and we get something new every day. Even it's snippets of rehearsals or something.
 
But to be real with y'all I'm beyond f*cking angry with this "project". This takes the cake as the laziest posthumous project ever for any deceased artist. Seriously? Who gives a f*ck about this sh*t? This is pure garbage. Elvis,Selena,and other deceased artists actually have estates that care to release posthumous projects but Michael's estate has got to be the laziest and this proves it to me. Releasing all the album's short films that have been online since the dawn of time and officially released for the last twenty five years to Vevo/YouTube is unbelievably stupid,especially since ALL of them have already been uploaded to Vevo/YouTube. The montages to songs that didn't get videos also is a stupid f*cking concept as well. This infuriates me that they do this to Michael and to the Dangerous album which,IMO,is his magnum opus and his greatest masterpiece. After them announcing this "project" I will 100% no longer support the Estate or any of their projects if this is the stupid sh*t they have the nerve and audacity to come up with to one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

I'm not going to contest your feelings about the estate because everyone rightfully feels differently about them.

But I will say that we did just have the OTW Documentary and re-release, which people complained about until the cows came home mainly over some damn chalk.
Maybe their taking some time off from releases to make sure that the next posthumous release that comes out is better then the last one.
I personally am neutral when it comes to both the estate and posthumous releases.

i doubt they will release unheard demos or songs on youtube...
otherwise they can't use them for future physical releases anymore.

I don't expect anything. I expected more from them on the off the wall 35th project & i thought they would surprise us with extras but nothing. So when they announce what they say...its just that. I will never expect a history 25 etc. I dont expect anything else from the estate now except for thriller & thats 1whole year from now...smh i hate the estate. Why is there even an estate...what do they work on? What do they do? Do they wait all year just to piss us fans off just for the hell of it. Smh wow mane i dont like them. Its a reason why Michael fired half of them & now they're bk

What future releases...it's obvious we don't/won't ever get anymore of them. Like someone else here said. This is the proper time for Dangerous 25,why release unreleased music for it on something random? It just doesnt make sense

Dangerous25 isn't happening. The MJ Online Team's statement pretty much confirmed as much.

The closest we're getting to a Dangerous anniversary celebration is the online campaign that consists of "stories" that most of us already know and "previously non-uploaded short films" that most of us have already seen.

Every single sign points to a physical project not happening.

I mean c'mon guys they are just putting on a lame showing of mj dangerous video clips as a "celebration" for the anniversary ..so what does that tell ya!

I'm just gonna acknowledge that the estate never promised nor implied that Dangerous25 was a thing.

Disappointment that it isn't coming out is justified. Anger towards them though? Nah.

Yea :/.. I think subconsciously, that's one of the reasons why I've wanted them to continue this theme of celebrating the 25th anniversary of his albums. Knowing that he was a part of it when it first began. On the bright side, when I put these logos together it reminded of a how far we've come along in celebrating Michael's legacy!
 
Not sure what made them think they could post this and not have fans get confused ahaha. If I hadn't seen the Facebook post first, I would've got WAY too excited haha.
