Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

When MJ did the Oprah interview Feb 10, 1993 , MJ did not even know or have met the CHandlers. So what is that idiot poster talking about?
 
MY MUTE WHO UPDATE:

The Ninth Season Of American Horror Story just started on FX. This season is called "American Horror Story: 1984 (which appears to be a take on the Slasher films.)

During the opening credits, they show of bunch of 80's related things, INCLUDING A GUY DOING THE MOONWALK!!!!!

Also, in the 1st episode ("Camp Redwood"), one of the songs featured is: Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me," featuring Michael Jackson.

To my absolute delight, Michael Jackson CONTINUES to be everywhere. When you lest expect it, here comes MJ singing: "I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE SOMEBODY'S WATCHING ME."

I went back to YT video footage of what you posted above and NONE of the comments that you posted were under this video. In fact EVERY comment was positive and defending Michael. Btw, why did you post those two comments that have NOTHING to do with footage that you posted. Btw, the comments that you posted came from another video footage.??

Thank you, Anna. Also, all members should know that the rules on this forum are very similar to the rules on most other MJ forums/fan clubs. In fact, they are almost identical to at least three different forums that I have experience with, as a moderator/administrator.
 
it is amazing Dan and MJ haters have to LIE to try to prove something that never existed. Again, I think the majority of the public aint buying this trash and it it only certain media covering Dan now. As right now MJ is played and doing well especially when Holloween is around the corner.

I have been saying for months there is something Dan Reed is hiding on himself even Mr. John Ziegel is commenting this about Dan. His eyes are too evil and his smile is too smirky when he discusses this issue no matter what he thinks about MJ. MARK MY WORD that Emmy win is going to reveal/make others reveal his demon.
 
That speech Reed gave at the Emmys was vomit-inducing. And seeing these idiotic celebrities applauding... I get that you have to attend these award shows sometimes when you're in that business, but from the reception he got, I felt as if there was broad support among these airheads for his cheap film. Seeing Leah Remini clap and Jeff Goldblum hand the Emmy to this man was just uh. Such a nasty and hypocritical industry.
 
There's been something that's been really bothering me lately. On Twitter I'm seeing some MJ fans be very racist towards white people. Yes, Michael had to deal with racism himself, but fighting racism with more racism is not the answer.

What are these fans saying? Are they pointing out that this whole scam IS racist? Are they pointing out that none of this would be happening if Michael was not a black man? Are they pointing out that this is a deliberate attempt to destroy a black man’s legacy? If these are some of the things that fans are pointing out, then that is not being racist toward white people. They are just stating some obvious facts. Can you give us some examples of what you are speaking of?

I hope and pray that you are right, I do agree there is something wrong with this man, he gives me the creeps but I'm not sure why

I think that saying the 'scam' is racist is far too simplistic. I don't think anyone is suggesting that the allegations by Robson and Safechuck were made for racist motives. They clearly want money (and fame).

In the UK, Carl Beech made false allegations against many white 'establishment' (political and military) figures, and the white media (and police) ran with this story for over 2 years, partly helped by political support from a senior left wing politician.

The BBC promoted a similar story of allegations against a white pop star (Cliff Richard), and false allegations against others eg white DJ's etc have also been prominently covered in the press, before the stories were properly investigated and corrected.

It's frequently pointed out that many of the media involved (and the 'blue ticks') are white. But the majority of media with worldwide reach are white-owned and still largely white-staffed. That of course speaks of a whole history of how, where and why these big media organisations developed. But these organisations (like Channel 4) don't appear to promote racism per se, and they would certainly not be tolerated if they did.

And the support for Michael comes from many sources, including eg the French fans who put together a lawsuit.

I think it's much too easy to say Michael has been targeted since 2005 'because' he is black. There seem to be much bigger agendas at play, including NAMBLA, Geffen, the major law firm involved, and everyone else who aims to make money from MJ-article clicks, or by having MJ 'suppressed' so that their own music/ entertainment / personality gets a chance to take the centre stage (maybe like Oprah).

I don't even want to know what other celebs were in the audience because it will make me look at them differently from then on in any upcoming movie or already existing movie. It seems these celebrities decided to watch this four hour filth, surely they can watch something like Chase the truth, Lies of LN and the upcoming Square One that isn't nearly as long? If they only did that they'd see what fools they are for clapping for such a fraud.

I actually felt the audience was mostly just going through the motions of what is expected of them. The very few standing up were obviously in support but look at those in the front, they are the complete opposite and not even clapping at all lol

I agree. I do not like the fact some want to deal with the issue of abuse but do not care if MJ is the "scapegoat" just as long as issue is disccussed which failed in my book over all because these guys are a joke and these papers know it but they want to trash MJ. Wont work.

there is ZERO evidence to assume the allegations has something to do with racism. when mj fans start bringing race into it I cringe.

most people didn't even think of mj as black in his later years and many don't now, so it's strange to start going on about MJ as a black man. of course he was, but I have literally seen nobody but mj fans make it an issue
