I don't think it's too late. they can still make the doc. it will be in handy for years to come. they got this far. might as well finish it. and don't rush it so it can come out good.

I don't think the donations goal matters anymore at this point. He's doing it anyway.

It's taking so long because it's a hell of a job to get something like this on it's feet, when you're not already a pro at it and without a lot of man power behind it.

As far as Taj puts it, it's not going to be a direct LN rebuttal (which would indeed be too late now), but more of a general clean up of MJ rumours and lies.

The mainstream media and major t.v networks would never air or promote a docu on mj that isnt a hit piece. Who knows about square one outside of the fan community. Where were all the MSM interviews for danny wu like there was for L.N on every major t.v channel around the world. The producers that run t.v channels etc have no intrest in anything that doesnt push the agenda of abuse.

Most people don't wanna hear about this anymore either. A lot of people are tired of hearing about it.

Mike should just be praised at this point and not putting any effort into this.

Like electro said i think they not worry about donation anymore. taj is already doing the doc. not sure why people still donating but every donation counts. but i really feel like you said. though let's be real they human beings too. they have families and themselves to support.

Exactly. This has been going on for 30+ years, a few more months don’t really matter. I’m also hoping it will be even more than a general clean up of rumors and lies, and show the world who MJ really was. Taj said that Brad’s seminars have inspired him to change the course of his documentary, so I’m hoping we get to see some rare footage as well. Just think of all the things Taj has access to. I’m really looking forward to this, and I think, he should take all the time he needs to get it right and to make it as timeless as MJ’s art itself. :)

I have serious doubts this will ever see the light of day. Why would the estate want Taj to put out all their evidence and arguments before a trial against the dbs? To discredit the lies about everything would be helping them. Just don’t see it happening.

It would be nice if the doc will be finish by the trial. that way it will help them in court. he said it should be done by the summer or somewhere this year. through due to this virus we made get it late. i wish him the best.

Its 2020. Theres other platforms than just cable TV. The internet/streaming platform is just as good or even better than cable imo.

While streaming is better let's face it. not everyone can buy netflix. poor people exist. i'm pretty sure taj will work something out for all of us to watch it on. Michael use to always make things easy for all of us enjoy. i'm pretty sure he will too.

I'm kinda worried about the focus of this thing now. At first he was saying it was about the allegations, now it's apparently also about MJs charity work. If it is to be effective I think it needs to keep to a topic.

If the money is going to charities and the doc. i wouldn't care because that what Michael would of done anyway.

I’m sure Taj has TV people working with him that will help him present these topics uniquely and effectively. I have faith that the team will make it work. The allegations will probably be discussed at length, but I do think that highlighting Michael’s good and charitable side will go a long way in improving his image.

Also dispelling any other ridiculous tabloid rumours is something that has needed to be done in the mainstream for a long time.

It's too late to release a rebuttal documentary to LN. That should have happened right after the airing of LN. Now almost 1.5 years have passed since the release of LN and people have simply moved on from it and releasing a rebuttal documentary will now only bring more attention to the allegations. Instead, Taj's documentary should focus on Michael's humanitarian efforts and what he really did to help so many kids around the world.

Excuse me, but WHAT ON EARTH are you two going on about?

It took Dan Reed who is a professional with a multi million company behind him, what, 2-3 years to do Leaving Neverland with massive financial backing & planning. Do you expect Taj Jackson to counter that by himself without financing, planning or no preparation whatsoever. Dan Reed probably spent like 4 years planning this in total.

And dont forget Taj went out on media tour when LN aired, so its not like he was sitting on his hands doing nothing.

Of course it would have been optimal to counter LN by releasing a counter-film immediately, but remember everyone was blindsided by LN and did not even know the content etc. Keep in mind that it took fans 3-4 months to pick LN apart, so it would not have been feasible to release anything quickly.

And now, my argument is that the LN hysteria has died down already. nobody has given a darn the last 4 months, so right now it makes all the sense in the world to perfect the release as much as possible. If it comes out now or in 1 year will make no difference in grand scheme of things.

I dont know how you can expect miracles from a one man show that Taj is without any prior experience about making full time movies or series. The guy has basicly been fighting a complete upphill battle ALONE in the name of Michael. He is not perfect, he is not a genius but he is doing what he can do the best of his ability!

Tajs project is not going to be a "Lies of leaving neverland" spectactle and only focused on LN and Robson/Safechuck, its going to be about Michaels life and everything he went through including the allegations - to put everything into context.

With the corona virus, how will this turn out, when will it be released, I have no idea, nobody probably knows. What I do know is that I am going to whatever I can do to help and support Taj! And certainly not directing negativity towards the only single soul on the fekking planet doing anything whatsoever to help out in this neverending shitstorm!!!!!

It takes time and amounts of $$$ to get it done, there&#8217;s numerous amounts of people donating to help out with the project, it&#8217;s currently reached over $200,000 so far and keeps increasing each day.

I agree with you... and all that financing, collecting money.... he could have gotten the money from... I don't know... did he try asking Prince and Paris? ... if he had moved fast, it could have been great... but what's the point in bringing up the allegations now... then rather do a movie, about all the good things MJ did.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS POST!! Taj has been working his a$$ off since that bulls@#$ hit the fan. He has been extremely vocal in defending Michael since day one. In case some of you don&#8217;t know there are those who don&#8217;t want the truth told. This includes the lying pieces of @#$ making the false allegations, the low life director, and the other conspirators involved. I can&#8217;t believe anyone who would have even a thought of negativity against Taj and the tremendous pressure he is facing.Thank God he is taking his time and trying to get it right. I WILL BE HERE FOR HIM 100% whenever he finishes his project and will support it with every fiber of my being.
